Control Ultimate Edition is now in stock at Mascom International as a brand new and sealed PlayStation 5 disc, priced at KSh 4,200 and ready to collect from Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD. Developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games, Control Ultimate Edition puts the complete base game and both story expansions, The Foundation and AWE, on one disc. The PS5 version adds a 60 frames-per-second Performance mode, a ray-traced Graphics mode, and DualSense effects tied to Jesse Faden's shapeshifting Service Weapon.

Control Ultimate Edition suits players who want a single-player story with real substance rather than another online grind. You play Jesse Faden, the newly appointed Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, inside the Oldest House, a New York tower that rearranges its own corridors. Telekinesis lets you rip concrete from walls and throw it, while levitation turns firefights into aerial puzzles. Students at Strathmore and USIU gaming between lectures, and working professionals with two free hours a night, will find the checkpoint structure easy to pick up and put down. Because the game sits on the disc, it installs without a full download over Safaricom Home Fibre or Zuku.

Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that shelve only this year's releases, Mascom International keeps respected back-catalogue titles like Control Ultimate Edition sealed and in stock. Its price sits well below most brand-new PS5 releases, which makes it one of the cheapest routes into a ray-traced PS5 game. Buyers throughout Kenya tell us the AWE expansion, which links this game to Remedy's Alan Wake universe, is reason enough to own the complete package. Walk in to Kimathi Street to inspect the case, or order Control Ultimate Edition on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery to any county.

Yes, Control Ultimate Edition at KSh 4,200 gives you the full game plus both expansions for less than most new PS5 releases cost at Mascom International. The main story alone fills many evenings, and The Foundation and AWE each add a fresh area, new enemies and new abilities on top. You never pay again for add-on content, because every story chapter Remedy released is already on the disc. For a Kenyan player who buys only a few games a year, that is strong value per shilling.

The Foundation sends Jesse deep beneath the Oldest House into a cave system of glowing crystal, with new ability upgrades that let her raise and shatter those formations in combat. AWE, short for Altered World Event, takes her into the Investigations Sector, where a dark presence tied to Alan Wake stalks the shadows and light becomes your main defence. Both unlock as you progress through the main story of Control Ultimate Edition. Fans planning to play Alan Wake 2 should finish AWE first, since it sets up threads that sequel picks up.

Choose Control Ultimate Edition if you want a modern, mystery-driven shooter with telekinetic powers and a story told through documents, films and strange office corridors. Choose Black Myth Wukong if you prefer punishing melee boss fights rooted in Chinese mythology, where learning each enemy pattern is the whole point. Control is the gentler and cheaper of the two, with an Assist mode that can reduce incoming damage. Mascom International stocks both PS5 discs at Kimathi Street, so you can compare the cases side by side before deciding.

Control Ultimate Edition autosaves regularly and whenever you reach a Control Point, the game's checkpoint and fast-travel stations, so a blackout usually costs only a few minutes. The bigger risk during an outage is to the PS5 itself, since a sudden shutdown can corrupt saved data. Running the console from a UPS protects both, and Mascom International stocks UPS units for exactly this reason. If you subscribe to PS Plus, your saves also back up to cloud storage automatically.

Yes, Control Ultimate Edition runs ray tracing on PS5 through its Graphics mode, which targets 30 frames per second. Ray-traced reflections appear on glass office walls and polished floors, giving the Research Sector its eerie mirrored look. Switch to Performance mode for a 60 frames-per-second target without ray tracing, which feels smoother during heavy telekinesis fights. You pick the mode from the in-game graphics menu and can change it at any point. A 4K TV shows off Graphics mode best, though a 1080p screen still looks sharp.

The Control Ultimate Edition disc works on any PS5 that can read discs: the standard console with a built-in drive, or a Slim Digital Edition or PS5 Pro fitted with Sony's separate Disc Drive. The original 2020 Digital Edition has no drive and cannot use it. This is the PS5 version, so it will not run on a PS4. You do not need internet to start playing, although connecting downloads any 505 Games patches. Mascom International can confirm compatibility for your console on WhatsApp before you order.

Buy Control Ultimate Edition if you enjoy story-led single-player games, slow-burn mystery and physics-heavy combat you can master at your own pace. It carries a PEGI 16 rating for violence and disturbing scenes, so it is not suited to younger children. Skip it if you mainly want online matches with friends, because there is no multiplayer of any kind. In that case one of the Call of Duty discs at Mascom International is the better fit, while Cricket 22 suits younger family players.

The DualSense adds two effects in Control Ultimate Edition that you feel rather than see. A haptic pulse fires when the Pierce form of the Service Weapon reaches full charge, so you can time shots without watching the meter. When you use the Grip form, the right adaptive trigger goes loose during its cooldown, telling your finger when the weapon is ready again. Both work on the standard DualSense that ships with every PS5, with no extra accessory needed.

Control Ultimate Edition arrives in a compact retail package, because the whole game lives on the disc itself:

Both expansions sit on the disc, so there are no separate download codes to redeem or lose. The PS5 console and any extra DualSense controller are sold separately at Mascom International.

Every Control Ultimate Edition disc sold by Mascom International carries a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Should a sealed copy refuse to read or install on a working PS5, bring the disc, case and receipt to our Kimathi Street service desk and we swap it for a fresh copy. Physical damage after sale, including scratches and cracks, sits outside this cover.

Mascom International keeps Control Ultimate Edition sealed and on the shelf at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD. Drop by Monday through Saturday between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM to check the case, ask about PS5 disc drive compatibility, or pick up a spare DualSense at the same time.
