Infiltrate occupied Brittany in 1944 with a friend, or hunt rival marksmen across 16-player online battles.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Sniper Elite 5 is in stock at Mascom International for KSh 4,700, sold as the brand new and sealed standard edition PS5 physical disc. Developed and published by Rebellion, the British studio behind the whole series, Sniper Elite 5 sends you to France in 1944 as US Ranger Karl Fairburne. You work with the French Resistance to break the Atlantikwall defences on the Brittany coast and uncover a secret Nazi project called Operation Kraken. Collect your copy at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Sniper Elite 5 is built for PS5 owners who would rather plan one patient shot than spray bullets down a corridor. Each map offers several infiltration and extraction points, so you choose whether to creep through farmhouses, climb cliff paths or fight your way out. University students at Kenyatta University and Strathmore who game in shared hostels get a campaign that two friends can clear together online. Working adults with only a free evening or two each week can play one mission at a sitting and pick up from the same spot the next night.
Where many Nairobi game sellers hand over a disc with no receipt and no after-sales backing, Mascom International covers every Sniper Elite 5 copy against manufacturing defects. A disc also keeps resale and lending in your hands, which a digital licence tied to one PlayStation account cannot do. Buyers across Kenya tell us they pick Sniper Elite 5 for its X-ray kill cam and the freedom of its open maps. Walk in to see the sealed case at our Kimathi Street counter, or pay by M-Pesa when the courier hands Sniper Elite 5 to you.
Common Questions About the Sniper Elite 5
What is the Sniper Elite 5 PS5 disc price in Kenya?
Sniper Elite 5 costs KSh 4,700 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, as a factory-sealed standard edition PS5 physical disc. That price includes the 6-month Mascom disc warranty at no extra charge. Delivery is pay-on-arrival, so buyers outside Nairobi can inspect the sealed case before paying. No console, controller or cables come with it, so the KSh 4,700 covers the game alone. Ask on WhatsApp if you want it paired with a DualSense controller or another PS5 title in the same order.
Will Sniper Elite 5 work on a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition?
Sniper Elite 5 on disc needs a console with a working disc drive, so a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition cannot read it on its own. Owners of the standard PS5 or the disc version of the PlayStation 5 Slim can play it straight away. A digital-only PlayStation 5 Slim accepts the disc once Sony's detachable disc drive is attached. The PlayStation 5 Pro ships without a drive too, so the same add-on applies. Not sure which model you own? Send Mascom International a photo of the console on WhatsApp.
How does Sniper Elite 5 compare with Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2?
Sniper Elite 5 offers two-player campaign co-op and 16-player online battles, while Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a one-player game with no online modes. Sniper Elite 5 is set in France in 1944, with wartime rifles and an X-ray kill cam. Contracts 2, released in 2021 by CI Games, uses modern rifles and drones in a fictional Middle Eastern region. Pick Sniper Elite 5 for history and playing with friends. Pick Contracts 2 if you prefer modern gear and solo contract hunting, and Mascom International stocks both on PS5.
Can I play Sniper Elite 5 offline in Kenya during a power cut or without fibre?
Yes, the Sniper Elite 5 campaign runs offline for one player once the disc data has installed on your PS5. The disc must stay in the drive while you play, because the console checks it as your proof of ownership. Online co-op, Axis Invasion and 16-player battles need an internet connection plus a PlayStation Plus subscription. A Safaricom Home Fibre or Zuku line handles online matches and game updates more reliably than a phone hotspot. During a power cut, your offline progress stays saved at the last checkpoint.
What is Axis Invasion mode in Sniper Elite 5?
Axis Invasion lets another player enter your Sniper Elite 5 campaign as an enemy sniper, hunting you while you work through your mission. That turns a familiar map into a tense game of patience, because the threat on a rooftop could be a real person. Karl can call in a second sniper of his own to help track the invader down. You can limit or switch off invasions in the settings if you would rather play the story undisturbed. Like every online feature, Axis Invasion needs PlayStation Plus.
Is Sniper Elite 5 suitable for children?
No, Sniper Elite 5 carries an ESRB Mature rating, which means it is made for adult players. The X-ray kill cam follows bullets through bodies in slow motion, showing bones deflecting shots, and many parents will find that too graphic. The PlayStation Store listing also notes strong violence and optional in-game purchases. Parents can use the PS5 family settings to block mature games on a child's account. For younger players, ask Mascom International about the family-friendly PS5 games currently on our shelves.
Is Sniper Elite 5 still worth buying in 2026?
Sniper Elite 5 is still worth buying at KSh 4,700 because the offline campaign alone carries a full story across large, open maps. Each mission includes several entry and exit routes plus kill-list targets, so replaying a level rarely plays out the same way twice. Workbenches let you change scopes, stocks, barrels and magazines, while ammunition ranges from armour-piercing to non-lethal. Add co-op, Survival and 16-player battles, and one disc covers months of evenings for a solo player or a regular gaming group.
Who should buy Sniper Elite 5, and who should skip it?
Sniper Elite 5 fits patient players who enjoy planning a route, studying patrols and lining up long shots in wartime France. It also suits pairs of friends who want a full campaign to clear together online. Skip it if you want the newest chapter, because Sniper Elite Resistance is the more recent entry and Mascom International stocks it on PS5. Skip it too if you prefer fast arcade shooting with constant action, since most missions here reward waiting and watching over running and gunning.
Technical Specifications
Campaign and Setting
- Set in France in 1944 along the Brittany coast, so every map draws on real wartime coastal defences.
- You play US Ranger Karl Fairburne, working with the French Resistance against the Atlantikwall fortifications.
- The story centres on exposing Operation Kraken, giving each mission a clear goal beyond simple target practice.
- Maps carry several infiltration and extraction points, letting you choose a quiet route or a loud one.
- Kill-list targets in each mission can be removed in different ways, which gives you reasons to replay levels.
- The one-player campaign runs offline, so slow or missing internet never blocks your progress through the story.
Shooting and Weapon Customisation
- Workbenches let you swap scopes, stocks, barrels and magazines, shaping each rifle around the way you play.
- Customisation covers rifles, secondary weapons and pistols, so close-range backup guns get attention as well.
- Ammunition types range from armour-piercing to non-lethal, letting you punch through cover or avoid kills entirely.
- The X-ray kill cam traces each bullet through bodies, with bones deflecting shots along their path.
- Submachine guns and pistols can trigger the kill cam too, not only long-range rifle shots.
Co-op and Online Modes
- Two-player campaign co-op lets a partner share ammo and items, give orders and heal you when wounded.
- Axis Invasion allows another player into your campaign as an enemy sniper, adding an unpredictable human hunter.
- Survival mode puts up to four players against waves of enemies, a good fit for a regular gaming group.
- Competitive multiplayer supports 16-player battles, giving the disc plenty of life after the story ends.
- Every online mode needs PlayStation Plus and an internet connection, so budget for the subscription if you want them.
PS5 Compatibility and Controller Support
- Runs on any PS5 console with a disc drive, including the standard PS5 and the PlayStation 5 Slim disc version.
- Digital-only consoles need Sony's detachable disc drive attached before they can read this disc at all.
- DualSense vibration support adds feedback to each shot, so rifles and pistols feel different in your hands.
- DualSense trigger effects add resistance under your finger, making each rifle shot a deliberate squeeze.
- Voice acting is in English, with on-screen text in languages including French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
- Game data installs to the console's internal storage, while the disc stays in the drive as proof of ownership.
Disc Format and Ownership
- Physical Blu-ray disc in a retail PS5 case, so the game is yours to keep, lend or resell later.
- A disc copy avoids downloading the full game over a capped or shared mobile data bundle.
- Updates still download after installation, so connect to Wi-Fi or a wired line before the first launch.
- Standard edition holds the base game only, with no season pass content included in the box.
- In-game purchases are optional, and nothing extra is needed to play the campaign from start to finish.
Rating and Release Details
- Rated ESRB Mature, so the game is made for adult players rather than children or young teens.
- First released in May 2022 across PlayStation, Xbox and PC, and this copy is the native PS5 version.
- Offline play supports one player, while online play supports up to 16 players per the PlayStation Store listing.
- The PlayStation Store lists strong violence among the content notes, matching the graphic kill cam described above.
- Online modes require a PlayStation Plus membership, while the offline campaign needs no paid subscription at all.
