PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition is newly launched and in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 113,000 for a Digital console in the Battle Yellow finish with a matching controller and a game voucher. Sony released the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition on September 15, 2026, the same day Marvel's Wolverine from Insomniac Games reached stores. Each bundle is brand new and sealed. Inside the yellow and black shell with claw-mark details sits standard PS5 Slim hardware. See the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition at our showroom in Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Designed for Marvel fans and action gamers across Kenya, the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition handles the new game and the wider PS5 library at up to 4K. University students sharing a hostel TV at JKUAT or Kenyatta University, young professionals in Kilimani apartments and parents shopping for a birthday gift all ask for it. The usual problem is buying a console and then hunting separately for the game. This bundle removes that step: the game arrives as a digital voucher, so you redeem it and start downloading the day you plug in.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops sell themed consoles only on pre-order, Mascom International has the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition on the shelf. At Mascom International, we're seeing early demand from fans who missed overseas pre-orders, and customers across Nairobi tell us the yellow controller turns heads at weekend gaming sessions. Limited editions can sell out without warning, so reserve yours early rather than waiting for the next shipment to land in Nairobi. Call or WhatsApp to hold a unit, walk in to inspect the box, or order with pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Common Questions About the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition
What is the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition price in Kenya?
The PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition costs KSh 113,000 at Mascom International in Nairobi, brand new and sealed. That figure includes the Digital console, the limited Battle Yellow DualSense controller, the Marvel's Wolverine voucher code and the standard cables, plus a 12-month warranty. You pay on arrival when we deliver. Compared with the plain PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition at KSh 100,000, you pay KSh 13,000 more for the themed design, the matching controller and a full new game.
Does the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition include the game on disc?
No, the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition includes Marvel's Wolverine as a digital voucher code, not a disc. The console is a Digital model with no disc drive, so you redeem the code on the PlayStation Store and download the game. Vouchers are tied to a PlayStation Network region, so ask us on WhatsApp which region the code in your bundle matches before you create your account. Getting the region right first saves a long support headache later.
PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition or PlayStation 5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition: which should I buy?
Choose the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition if you want a game in the box, and the PlayStation 5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition if you collect PlayStation history. Both cost KSh 113,000 at Mascom International and share the same Digital PS5 Slim internals, so game performance is identical. The Wolverine bundle adds a full new game and a bold yellow look. The anniversary console comes in retro grey with a vertical stand, a poster and throwback cable extras, but no game.
Is my home internet in Kenya good enough for the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition?
A home fibre line works best with the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition, because the game and every system update download over the internet. Safaricom Home Fibre, Zuku and Faiba packages handle large downloads overnight without fuss. Mobile data from Safaricom or Airtel Kenya is fine for online matches, but big downloads eat through bundles quickly. Connect the console to the router with an Ethernet cable for the steadiest link, and schedule large downloads for quiet hours.
Can I add a disc drive to the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition later?
Yes, the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition accepts the official PS5 Disc Drive, which Mascom International sells for KSh 17,000. It clips onto the side of the console and lets you play PS5 and PS4 game discs, Blu-ray films and DVDs. That brings your total spend to KSh 130,000. The standard drive has a plain white finish, so it will not match the yellow theme. Many fans add it anyway to play second-hand discs bought cheaply from friends.
Does the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition play PS4 games?
Yes, the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition runs most PS4 games, so a digital PS4 library on your account carries straight over. Many older titles load faster and hold steadier frame rates on PS5 hardware. PS4 disc games need the optional PS5 Disc Drive because this console has no built-in drive. A PlayStation Plus subscription also unlocks a catalogue of PS4 and PS5 games to download, which gives new owners plenty to play beyond Marvel's Wolverine.
How do I keep the Battle Yellow finish on the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition looking new?
Keep the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition out of direct sunlight and wipe it with a dry microfibre cloth to protect the yellow panels. Dust from Nairobi roads settles fast on bright surfaces, so a weekly wipe keeps the claw-mark artwork crisp. Avoid household cleaning sprays, which can dull painted finishes. Leave a hand's width of space around the vents for airflow, especially in hot towns such as Kisumu and Garissa. Keep the original box, since complete limited editions hold their appeal.
Who is the PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition for, and who should look elsewhere?
The PlayStation 5 Slim Wolverine Edition is for Marvel fans and first-time PS5 owners who want a console and a major new game in one purchase. Look elsewhere if your collection is mostly discs; the PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition at KSh 110,000 suits you better. Gamers chasing more detail on a big 4K TV should consider the PlayStation 5 Pro at KSh 190,000. If you often play away from the main TV, pair it with the PlayStation Portal at KSh 37,000.
