Kena Bridge of Spirits sits on the Mascom International shelf as the PS5 Deluxe Edition physical disc, priced at KSh 4,500 and brand new and sealed in its original wrap. Ember Lab, a studio that started out making animated films, created the Kena Bridge of Spirits as a single-player action adventure. The boxed Deluxe Edition then reached retail shelves on 19 November 2021 through a separate publishing partner. On PS5, the Kena Bridge of Spirits offers a Performance mode at 60fps upscaled to 4K, plus a Fidelity mode at native 4K and 30fps. Collect your copy at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.

Built for players across Kenya who want a story with a real ending rather than another endless online grind, the Kena Bridge of Spirits follows a young Spirit Guide named Kena. She explores a forgotten village and an overgrown forest, searching for a sacred mountain shrine. Along the way she gathers tiny spirit companions called the Rot, who join fights and move objects to open new paths. Parents choosing a game for teenagers, couples who pass the controller back and forth, and fans of animated film all get something here. Once installed and updated over Safaricom Home Fibre or Zuku, the campaign runs without any internet connection at all.

Unlike some sellers in Kenya who pass off second-hand discs as new stock, Mascom International sells every copy in factory shrink-wrap from a walk-in store you can visit. The Deluxe Edition box also carries extras the standard digital version leaves out, including the soundtrack, a golden Rot skin and a printed sticker sheet. Buyers throughout Kenya tell us they like checking the case in person before paying. Order on WhatsApp and pay on arrival in any of the 47 counties. Or walk in Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and leave with the Kena Bridge of Spirits the same day.

The Kena Bridge of Spirits Deluxe Edition for PS5 costs KSh 4,500 at Mascom International on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD. That figure buys the full game on disc plus five Deluxe extras: the soundtrack, a silver staff, a golden Rot skin, Rot celebration hats and a printed sticker sheet. It also carries the 6-month disc warranty described below. Order on WhatsApp and you pay on delivery, by cash or M-Pesa, only after checking the seal on the case yourself.

Yes, if you want a complete, story-led adventure on PS5 for under KSh 5,000. The Kena Bridge of Spirits pairs animation-studio character work with combat that gets demanding in the later boss fights. Updates released since 2021, including the free Anniversary Update that added New Game+, download to your copy at no extra cost. There is no battle pass, no season pass and no online subscription to pay for. Because it is a disc, you can also lend it to a friend once the credits roll.

The Kena Bridge of Spirits Deluxe disc gives you five bonus items, while the standard digital version gives you none. Both run the same campaign with the same 60fps Performance and native 4K Fidelity modes. The disc can be lent, sold or traded, whereas a download stays tied to one PlayStation account for good. A digital copy also means pulling the whole game over your home connection. Pick the disc for resale value and extras, and choose digital only if your console has no drive.

The Kena Bridge of Spirits disc plays straight away on the original PS5 with a disc tray and on the PS5 Slim disc version. The PS5 Slim Digital Edition and PS5 Pro can read it only once Sony's detachable Disc Drive is attached. The first 2020 PS5 Digital Edition cannot take that add-on, so it cannot play this disc at all. PS4 owners need the separate PS4 release, because this copy installs on PS5 consoles only.

Yes, the Kena Bridge of Spirits plays fully offline once installed, since it is a single-player game with no online mode. Connect once to fetch the latest patch, then play with the router switched off. A Kenya Power outage shuts the console down instantly, and you lose whatever happened since the last autosave. The game saves often at checkpoints, but a small UPS behind the PS5 gives you time to reach a save and power down properly. Mascom International stocks UPS units for exactly this.

Use Performance mode for the Kena Bridge of Spirits if responsive combat matters most, since it runs at 60 frames per second with the image upscaled to 4K. Fidelity mode renders native 4K but holds the frame rate at 30, which looks sharper on a large 4K television during calm exploration. On a 1080p screen the extra detail is hard to notice, so Performance makes the better default there. Boss fights also reward the smoother picture, because dodges and parries depend on split-second timing.

Buy the Kena Bridge of Spirits if you enjoy finishing one story through exploration, light puzzles and tough boss encounters. It suits teenagers, couples taking turns on the sofa, and students unwinding in a Kenyatta University hostel between exams. Skip it if you want online matches with friends or local co-op on one screen, because Kena offers neither. For shared play, LEGO Star Wars on PS5 disc, also on our shelves, lets two people play side by side on the same television.

The Kena Bridge of Spirits Deluxe Edition extras are digital, so you unlock them with the PS5 online and signed in to your PlayStation account. Follow the instructions packed inside the case to add the soundtrack, silver staff, golden Rot skin and Rot celebration hats. The cosmetic items then appear in the game menus, ready to equip on Kena and her companions. The sticker sheet is the only printed extra and sits loose in the box. If anything refuses to unlock, our team walks you through it on WhatsApp.

The Kena Bridge of Spirits Deluxe Edition reaches you factory-sealed, exactly as the publisher packed it for retail:

No console or controller comes in the box. Mascom International stocks PS5 consoles and DualSense controllers separately if you are building a setup from scratch.
