Assassin's Creed Mirage on PS5 disc is in stock at Mascom International for KSh 4,300, brand new and sealed in its original case. Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed Mirage in October 2023, and the story follows Basim, a young thief climbing the rooftops of Golden Age Baghdad. The disc installs a game under 35GB, offers a 60fps performance mode, and plays on any PS5 with a disc drive. You can collect your copy at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Many players stepped away from the series because recent entries asked for a hundred-hour commitment. Assassin's Creed Mirage answers that problem with a tighter campaign built around one city, social stealth and patient assassinations. It suits university students at Kenyatta University and the University of Nairobi who game between lectures, working adults with two free evenings a week, and parents who want a finished story rather than an endless checklist. If you enjoy planning a route, studying guard patterns and striking unseen, Assassin's Creed Mirage rewards that style more directly than any other recent Ubisoft release.
Where most Nairobi game shops push the newest and priciest titles, Mascom International keeps budget-friendly classics like Assassin's Creed Mirage on the shelf beside the latest releases. Buyers throughout Kenya tell us the shorter length is exactly why they finally complete an Assassin's Creed story. A physical disc also keeps its value, since you can lend it to a friend, trade it later, or pass it on once you finish the final contract. Walk into our Kimathi Street store to pick up Assassin's Creed Mirage today, or order on WhatsApp and pay on arrival.
Common Questions About the Assassin's Creed Mirage
Is Assassin's Creed Mirage worth KSh 4,300 in Kenya?
Yes, Assassin's Creed Mirage at KSh 4,300 is one of the cheapest ways into a full Ubisoft open-city adventure on PS5. You get a complete single-player campaign, the free Valley of Memory story update that adds the AlUla region, and a disc you can resell or swap later. For buyers in Kenya who want a polished stealth game without paying top price for the newest release, Mascom International sees Assassin's Creed Mirage as strong value per shilling.
How does Assassin's Creed Mirage compare with Assassin's Creed Valhalla?
Assassin's Creed Mirage is roughly a third of the length of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and it trades Viking raids for quiet assassinations. Valhalla, set in ninth-century England, leans on heavy combat, settlement building and a huge map. Mirage keeps you inside one dense city, rewards hiding in crowds, and lets you clear most targets without open fighting. Pick Valhalla if you want months of content. Pick Mirage if you want a story you will actually finish this month.
Will the Assassin's Creed Mirage disc play on a PS5 Digital Edition or PS5 Pro?
The Assassin's Creed Mirage disc needs a PS5 with a working disc drive to install and run. The original PS5, the disc version of the PS5 Slim, and any Slim Digital or PS5 Pro fitted with Sony's add-on Disc Drive all read it. The 2020 PS5 Digital Edition has no drive slot and cannot accept one. Mascom International stocks the Sony Disc Drive separately, so ask on WhatsApp before ordering if your console lacks one.
Is the Assassin's Creed Mirage disc region-locked on Kenyan PSN accounts?
No, PS5 game discs are region-free, so Assassin's Creed Mirage plays on any PS5 sold or imported into Kenya. Your PlayStation Network account country does not matter for the main game, because the disc itself carries the licence. Most buyers in Kenya run PSN accounts set to the UK, US or UAE, and every one of them reads this disc normally. The only exception involves paid add-ons, which must come from the PlayStation Store matching your account region.
Do I need internet to play Assassin's Creed Mirage?
The full Assassin's Creed Mirage campaign sits on the disc, but you should connect once to download Ubisoft's patches and the free Valley of Memory update. A Safaricom Home Fibre, Zuku or Faiba connection handles the download comfortably overnight. On a mobile bundle, check the update size on screen before starting, because it can eat into your data. After updating, the single-player story plays normally, and you only reconnect when Ubisoft releases a further fix.
What happens to my Assassin's Creed Mirage progress during a KPLC power cut?
Assassin's Creed Mirage autosaves often, at mission checkpoints and after key actions, so a sudden blackout usually costs you only a few minutes of play. The bigger danger is to the PS5 itself, which may need to repair its storage after losing power mid-session. Many of our customers in Nairobi estates with frequent outages pair their console with a UPS from Mascom International. That gives you time to save, quit and shut down properly when the lights go.
Who should buy Assassin's Creed Mirage, and who should skip it?
Buy Assassin's Creed Mirage if you prefer stealth, careful planning and a campaign you can finish in a few weeks of evening sessions. Skip it if you want naval battles and pirate ship upgrades, because Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced suits that better. Skip it too if you want the biggest, newest open world in the series, where Assassin's Creed Shadows and its feudal Japan setting make more sense. Mascom International stocks all three on PS5 disc.
Is Assassin's Creed Mirage suitable for younger players?
Assassin's Creed Mirage carries an ESRB M rating, which means it is meant for players aged 17 and older. The game shows blood during assassinations and combat, along with strong language in places. Parents in Kenya buying for a teenager should watch the opening hour first and judge the violence themselves. For younger children, Mascom International can suggest family-rated PS5 titles from our current shelf, and our Kimathi Street staff will happily show you the options in store.
What graphics modes does Assassin's Creed Mirage offer on PS5?
Assassin's Creed Mirage gives you a choice between a 60fps performance mode and a 30fps quality mode with dynamic 4K resolution on PS5. Performance mode feels smoother during rooftop chases and sword fights, which most players prefer on a standard 1080p or 4K television. Quality mode sharpens the detail in Baghdad's markets and palaces, which suits a large 4K screen. You can switch between the two modes from the settings menu at any time without restarting.
Technical Specifications
Release and Publisher Details
- Published by Ubisoft on 5 October 2023, so the disc carries a mature, fully patched and widely reviewed game.
- Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux as a deliberately smaller entry, which keeps the story focused instead of padded with side content.
- This is the standard edition PS5 Blu-ray disc, which installs the full game without needing a download code.
- Rated ESRB M for players aged 17 and older, meaning parents should preview the violence before handing it over.
- The game also released on PS4, Xbox and PC, but this disc is the dedicated PS5 version.
Setting and Story
- Set in Baghdad during its ninth-century Golden Age, offering a rare Middle Eastern city setting for a major console game.
- You play as Basim, a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones and learns to hunt corrupt officials.
- The city splits into four districts plus surrounding wilds, so each area feels distinct without demanding endless travel.
- The story also visits Alamut, the mountain fortress where Basim trains, linking the game to series history.
- An in-game History of Baghdad codex explains real places and people, which adds learning value for curious players.
Stealth and Gameplay Systems
- Social stealth returns, letting you blend into crowds and benches, so careful players avoid most open fights entirely.
- Black Box missions give you several routes to each major target, which rewards scouting and patient planning.
- Basim's eagle Enkidu scouts ahead and marks guards, which helps you plan a route before you commit.
- Assassin Focus lets you chain several quick takedowns in one move, which clears tight guard groups cleanly.
- Parkour across rooftops, ropes and poles stays central, so movement through Baghdad feels quick and fluid.
PS5 Performance and Graphics Modes
- Performance mode targets 60fps, which keeps rooftop chases and combat smooth on any modern television.
- Quality mode runs at 30fps with dynamic 4K resolution, which suits large 4K screens and slower exploration.
- Fast loading from the PS5 internal SSD means you return to the action quickly after a failed assassination.
- Output works on 1080p and 4K televisions through HDMI, so a standard living-room TV is enough to play.
- Switching between graphics modes happens in the settings menu, letting you test both without restarting the game.
Storage and Install Requirements
- The PS5 install sits under 35GB, leaving plenty of room on the 825GB and 1TB console drives.
- The disc must stay in the drive while you play, because it acts as the licence for the game.
- Ubisoft patches and the free Valley of Memory update download separately, so expect extra space after updating.
- Installing to a compatible M.2 expansion drive works normally, which helps owners with a crowded internal SSD.
- Saved games stay on the console and can sync to PlayStation Plus cloud storage if you subscribe.
Audio, Language and Controller Support
- An Arabic voice option lets Basim and the citizens of Baghdad speak in Arabic with English subtitles.
- English voice acting and subtitles come as standard, which suits most Kenyan players straight out of the case.
- The game plays fully on the standard DualSense controller that ships with every PS5 console.
- Subtitle size and background settings can be adjusted, which makes reading easier from across a living room.
- Single-player only, so there are no online subscriptions needed to complete the main campaign.
