Mascom International stocks the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement at KSh 11,000, and that price includes fitting at our Nairobi CBD store. The part is a brand new, Original-grade replacement display made to fit the phone's 6.78-inch LTPO4 AMOLED panel, with a 1264 x 2780 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Our technicians fit the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement on site at the Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street. The quoted figure is the full cost of part and labour, so the amount agreed on WhatsApp is the amount you pay at the store.
Built for content creators, mobile gamers, journalists and NGO field staff across Kenya, the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement solves a problem that stops work cold. A slip on a wet Westlands pavement during the long rains, or a knock against a desk edge, can leave the glass split, the picture flickering or one corner refusing to respond. Editing a clip or replying to a client becomes a strain on the eyes. The OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement returns a sharp 120Hz picture and full touch, so the phone you already own goes back to daily duty.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell loose screens and leave the risky part to you, Mascom International handles the fitting and checks the result with you present. Buyers throughout Kenya report that a tested repair from a walk-in shop gives them more confidence than a part bought online. The OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement comes with a 6-month warranty on the display, set out in the Warranty section. Visit us Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or message our team on WhatsApp to confirm the part before you travel into town.
Common Questions About the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement
What is the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement price in Kenya?
The OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement is KSh 11,000 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, and the price includes fitting by our technician. You get the Original-grade replacement display, the labour to install it, a function check at the counter and a 6-month warranty on the display. Nothing is added for labour on the day. The OnePlus 12 Screen Replacement sits KSh 2,000 higher at KSh 13,000, while the OnePlus 10T Screen Replacement is KSh 2,500 lower at KSh 8,500.
Is the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement the same part used on the OnePlus 12?
No, the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement is a different part from the OnePlus 12 screen, and the two cannot be swapped. The OnePlus 12R display measures 6.78 inches at 1264 x 2780 pixels, about 450 pixels per inch. The OnePlus 12 display measures 6.82 inches at 1440 x 3168 pixels. Both run at 120Hz and list Gorilla Glass Victus 2 in their specs. The OnePlus 12 part costs KSh 13,000, which is KSh 2,000 more. Order by your phone's model name, not by how it looks.
Can I pay for the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement with M-Pesa, and will my Safaricom line work afterwards?
Yes, you can pay for the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement by M-Pesa or cash at our Kimathi Street store, and delivered orders are pay-on-arrival. The repair replaces the display, so your Safaricom, Airtel Kenya or Telkom SIM should work as before once it is back in the tray. The technician can place a test call with you before you leave. If signal trouble existed before the drop, mention it at the counter, because a new display will not fix a network fault.
Who is the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement for, and who should look elsewhere?
The OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement is for owners whose phone still boots, charges and connects, but whose front glass or display has failed. It suits anyone happy with the phone's speed and battery who simply needs a working screen again. Look elsewhere if the phone has a dead motherboard, water damage or a bent body, because a new panel will not solve those faults. In those cases a replacement phone makes more sense, and our team can talk through options with you on WhatsApp.
Is repairing a OnePlus 12R better value than upgrading to another phone?
For most owners, repairing is the better value, because the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement costs KSh 11,000 and keeps a capable phone in service. The OnePlus 12R was announced in January 2024 with a 120Hz LTPO4 AMOLED display rated at 4500 nits peak brightness in its specs, figures that still hold up well today. Upgrading makes sense only if the battery, cameras or storage no longer meet your needs. If the screen is the only problem, a repair keeps your setup and apps in place.
Does the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement come with a frame?
Frame details vary by part, so confirm the exact OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement part with our team on WhatsApp before you book. Send your phone model and a photo of the damage to +254 708 852 521. The team will tell you which part is in stock for your phone and what the fitting covers. Settling this before your visit avoids a wasted trip into Nairobi CBD and lets the technician prepare the right part for your handset.
Can a cracked OnePlus 12R wait a few weeks before repair?
A cracked OnePlus 12R can keep working for a while, but waiting usually makes the damage worse. Small cracks spread with pocket pressure and everyday knocks. Gaps in the glass let in dust and moisture, which can reach the display layers below. Loose shards can cut a thumb or a cheek during calls. Once touch starts failing in patches, typing a password becomes hard. Booking the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement early keeps the repair limited to the display alone.
How should I prepare my OnePlus 12R before the screen repair?
Back up your OnePlus 12R to Google Drive or a computer before you come, then charge it if the phone still accepts power. Remove the case and any old protector at home, since shattered protectors shed glass. Remember your passcode, because you will enter it yourself when the technician tests touch and sets up fingerprint unlock after the OnePlus 12R Screen Replacement. Note any other faults, such as a weak speaker or loose port, so the team knows what was there before fitting.
Technical Specifications
Display Panel
- 6.78-inch LTPO4 AMOLED size to match the OnePlus 12R display specs, so the panel covers the front just as the original did.
- 1264 x 2780 resolution at about 450 pixels per inch, sharp enough that letters in long documents look clean and easy to read.
- 120Hz refresh rate, which redraws the picture up to 120 times a second for smoother scrolling and gaming on the phone.
- LTPO4 is a form of variable refresh: the phone lowers the rate on still content, such as a page of text, to stretch battery life.
- The OnePlus 12R specs list 4500 nits peak brightness, 1600 nits in high brightness mode, plus HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support.
Core Function
- Swaps a shattered, flickering or unresponsive display for one complete Original-grade replacement display in a single fitting.
- Brings back full-panel touch, so on-screen keyboards, game controls and swipe gestures respond in every corner of the glass again.
- Works with the phone's optical fingerprint reader under the glass, which our technician sets up and tests with you at the counter.
- Labour by a Mascom technician is part of the KSh 11,000 price, with no separate fitting fee added when you collect the phone.
- Each fitted phone is checked for picture, touch, brightness and unlocking before the technician hands it back to you.
Compatibility
- Made only for the OnePlus 12R; confirm the model name under Settings, then About device, before you place an order.
- Not interchangeable with the OnePlus 12 part, whose 6.82-inch panel runs a higher 1440 x 3168 resolution in a slightly larger body.
- Shaped for a phone body measuring 163.3 x 75.3 x 8.8 mm, as given in the OnePlus 12R specifications.
- Matches a screen-to-body ratio of about 90.9 percent, so the thin borders around the picture look as they did before the damage.
- Whether a frame comes with this part is not stated, so check the exact part with our team on WhatsApp first.
Build
- Original-grade replacement display, the grade under which Mascom International sells and fits this part for walk-in and delivered orders.
- The OnePlus 12R specs list Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, a hardened glass designed to resist scratches and falls.
- AMOLED panels need no backlight, because each pixel makes its own light, so blacks stay dark and dark-mode apps draw less power.
- Sits on a 207-gram phone with an aluminium frame and a glass back, so both faces benefit from a protective case after fitting.
- Support for 1 billion colours, per the phone's specs, keeps gradients in photos and skies smooth without visible stepped bands.
Inclusions
