NBA 2K25 is available at Mascom International for KSh 7,000 as a physical Nintendo Switch game card, brand new and sealed in its retail case. Published by 2K and released in September 2024, NBA 2K25 brings MyCAREER, MyTEAM, MyLEAGUE and Play Now to the Switch, with NBA and WNBA teams on the roster. The game runs in TV, tabletop and handheld modes, so the same card moves from the living room screen to a matatu seat. You can pick up NBA 2K25 at our shop in the Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for delivery.
Built for basketball fans across Kenya who want a full NBA season on a console they can carry, this card suits university students in hostels at Kenyatta and JKUAT, parents buying for teenagers, and working adults with long commutes. The usual problem with sports games on Switch is patchy internet, because fibre drops and data bundles run out. NBA 2K25 answers that with Play Now and MyLEAGUE, which Nintendo lists as working offline, so a KPLC outage that knocks out the home router does not stop a season. When you are connected, MyTEAM runs a weekly King of the Court competition and The Neighborhood adds quests, rewards and Rivals.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops sell loose or pre-owned Switch cards with no paperwork, Mascom International sells NBA 2K25 factory sealed, with a receipt and a 6-month warranty. Customers across Nairobi tell us they choose a physical card because it can be swapped with friends or resold later, which a digital download cannot. Order NBA 2K25 on WhatsApp and pay with M-Pesa when the parcel reaches you, or walk into our Kimathi Street shop and leave with it the same day.
Common Questions About NBA 2K25
How much is NBA 2K25 for Nintendo Switch in Kenya?
NBA 2K25 for Nintendo Switch costs KSh 7,000 at Mascom International in Nairobi, as a sealed physical game card. That price covers the card in its retail case, a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, and pay-on-arrival delivery to every county in Kenya. In our current stock, NBA 2K25 is KSh 1,300 cheaper than the NBA 2K24 card, which sells for KSh 8,300. You can pay by M-Pesa or cash at the store, or pay the rider when your order arrives.
Should I buy NBA 2K25 or NBA 2K24 on Nintendo Switch?
NBA 2K25 is the newer game and, at KSh 7,000, it costs KSh 1,300 less than NBA 2K24 at Mascom International. NBA 2K25 adds The Neighborhood, a weekly King of the Court event in MyTEAM, and a later NBA season. NBA 2K24 centres on Mamba Moments, a mode that replays key games from Kobe Bryant's career. Pick NBA 2K25 for the newer season and the lower price. Pick NBA 2K24 only if Kobe Bryant's story is the main reason you play.
Can I play NBA 2K25 offline on a Nintendo Switch in Kenya?
Yes, Play Now and MyLEAGUE in NBA 2K25 work offline, according to Nintendo's product page. That matters in Kenya, where Safaricom and Airtel home internet can drop during power cuts. Other modes and features, including MyTEAM's King of the Court and The Neighborhood, need an internet connection. Online play on Switch also needs a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, and some features ask you to register an online account, which Nintendo limits to ages 13 and over.
Does NBA 2K25 work on the Nintendo Switch 2?
Yes, Nintendo lists NBA 2K25 as supported on Nintendo Switch 2, with game behaviour consistent with the original Switch. Nintendo states that original Switch games generally run on Switch 2, and this title is one it confirms by name. On a Switch Lite, Nintendo notes the play experience may differ and extra controllers may be needed for some modes. Online play works the same way on every model, through a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. Message us on WhatsApp on +254 708 852 521 to confirm your console model before you order NBA 2K25.
How much storage space does NBA 2K25 need on a Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo lists NBA 2K25 at 59.2GB on both the original Switch and Switch 2. Game updates and saved data are stored on the console itself, so check your free space before you start playing. If space is tight, a microSD card in the console's card slot gives room for updates without deleting other games. You can see your free space under System Settings, then Data Management, on the console. Our team can talk you through your console's storage on WhatsApp before you buy NBA 2K25.
Who should buy NBA 2K25 and who should skip it?
NBA 2K25 suits Switch owners who want a full NBA season, MyCAREER progression and MyTEAM card collecting on a console they can carry. It also suits households that share one Switch, since the card moves between consoles. Skip it if you are buying a first game for a young child; Super Mario Odyssey at KSh 7,500 is the better fit there. Skip it too if you never plan to go online, because much of NBA 2K25's newer content lives in MyTEAM and The Neighborhood.
Can I play NBA 2K25 with WNBA teams?
Yes, NBA 2K25 includes both NBA and WNBA teams, according to Nintendo's description of the game. You can choose WNBA sides alongside the NBA teams for quick matches. That gives fans of the women's game a way to play with the teams they follow, in single matches with friends on one console. NBA 2K25 also gives NBA players their own trademark moves, so star players look and move the way they do on television. Basketball players at Kenyan schools and university leagues often use these modes to study how the professionals run plays.
Is NBA 2K25 good for playing on the go?
Yes, NBA 2K25 runs in handheld mode, so you can play MyLEAGUE or Play Now matches on the Switch screen during a lunch break or a long journey. Those offline modes use no data, which saves your mobile bundle. How long you can play depends on your Switch model's battery, so carry a USB-C power bank on trips between Nairobi and up-country towns. TV and tabletop modes cover home play and quick games with friends.
