Mascom International stocks NBA 2K24 for Nintendo Switch at KSh 8,300, brand new and sealed in the original retail case. This is the 2023 basketball release from 2K, sold on Switch as the Kobe Bryant Edition, with Mamba Moments, MyCAREER, MyTEAM and Play Now on one physical game card. Up to four people can play on a single console, and online matches take 2 to 10 players. Buyers can collect NBA 2K24 from our store on the first floor of the Old Mutual Building, Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or have it delivered anywhere in the country.
Designed for fans of Kobe Bryant and of basketball history, NBA 2K24 handles both story-led play and party games at home. Mamba Moments recreates key performances from Bryant's career, from his early years to his rise as one of the greatest players the sport has seen. That suits older fans who followed those Lakers seasons on late-night television, and younger players in Mombasa or Eldoret who know him mostly from highlight clips. For families, the four-player local mode in NBA 2K24 turns one Switch into a weekend tournament, and the PEGI 3 rating means the game is cleared for all ages.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that cannot show where a game card came from, Mascom International sells NBA 2K24 factory sealed, with a receipt and a 6-month warranty. We price it at KSh 8,300, which is KSh 1,300 above NBA 2K25 in our current stock, and we tell every buyer that before they choose. At Mascom International, we're seeing steady requests for NBA 2K24 from Kobe Bryant fans who want Mamba Moments in particular. Order on WhatsApp and pay with Lipa na M-Pesa on delivery, or collect it in person on Kimathi Street.
Common Questions About NBA 2K24
What is the NBA 2K24 Nintendo Switch price in Kenya?
NBA 2K24 for Nintendo Switch sells for KSh 8,300 at Mascom International in Nairobi, factory sealed in its retail case. The price includes the physical game card, a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects and pay-on-arrival delivery to any county. NBA 2K24 is KSh 1,300 more than NBA 2K25, the newer game, which costs KSh 7,000 in our current stock. Pay by M-Pesa or cash at our Kimathi Street store, or pay the rider when the parcel reaches your door.
Is NBA 2K24 still worth buying when NBA 2K25 is cheaper?
NBA 2K24 is worth buying mainly for Mamba Moments, the mode built around Kobe Bryant's career. Be clear on cost: at Mascom International, NBA 2K24 is KSh 8,300 and NBA 2K25 is KSh 7,000, so the older game costs KSh 1,300 more. NBA 2K25 brings The Neighborhood, a weekly King of the Court event in MyTEAM and a newer NBA season. Choose NBA 2K24 for the Kobe Bryant story and the salary cap mode in MyTEAM. Choose NBA 2K25 for the newer season and the lower price.
How many people can play NBA 2K24 on one Nintendo Switch?
NBA 2K24 supports one to four players on a single Switch, according to Nintendo's product page. Local wireless play links two to four consoles in the same room, and online matches take two to ten players. Each player needs a compatible controller, so a four-player game on one console calls for extra Joy-Con or Pro Controllers. That makes NBA 2K24 a good fit for hostel rooms at Moi University or Strathmore, where several friends often share one Switch between lectures.
Do I need Nintendo Switch Online to play NBA 2K24 in Kenya?
You need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership only for online play in NBA 2K24; matches on one console need no membership. The membership also backs up save data to the cloud, which protects your MyCAREER progress if a console is lost or damaged. Online games run on any steady home connection, such as Safaricom Home Fibre or Airtel home internet. Keep the router on a UPS if you can, because a KPLC outage during an online match ends the game for you.
Will NBA 2K24 run on a Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo states that original Switch games generally run on Nintendo Switch 2, and the Switch 2 accepts original Switch game cards. Nintendo checks titles one by one in its compatibility notes, so confirm NBA 2K24 with us on WhatsApp before buying it for a Switch 2. On a Switch Lite, NBA 2K24 plays in handheld form only, and Nintendo says the play experience may differ from the original console. Extra controllers may be needed on the Lite for multiplayer.
What is Mamba Moments in NBA 2K24?
Mamba Moments is the NBA 2K24 mode that recreates key performances from Kobe Bryant's career. It follows his path from a young player to one of the greatest in the game's history, according to 2K's description. It works as a guided set of matches with clear goals, so it suits fans who prefer set targets to open-ended career modes. For many Kenyan fans who stayed up late to watch the Lakers, it is the main reason to pick this edition over a newer one.
Who should buy NBA 2K24 and who should skip it?
NBA 2K24 suits Kobe Bryant fans, collectors of the basketball series and families who want four-player matches on one console. It also suits MyTEAM players who enjoy the salary cap mode that 2K added in this edition. Skip it if you want a newer season and a lower price; NBA 2K25 at KSh 7,000 covers both. Skip it as well if you are buying a first game for a young child, since Super Mario Odyssey at KSh 7,500 is easier to pick up and play.
Does NBA 2K24 have a MyCAREER mode on Switch?
Yes, NBA 2K24 on Switch includes MyCAREER, where you create a player with MyPLAYER options and grow a professional career. 2K set this edition's MyCAREER in Hoop in Paradise, a coastal neighbourhood with cliffside terrain, a revamped player builder, an updated Badge system and fresh quests. Gameplay changes include reworked interior defence and new dribble combo controls. If you would rather build one player over many seasons than manage a whole team, MyCAREER is where most of your hours in NBA 2K24 will go.
