HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl is now in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 140,000 and supplied brand new and sealed. It combines the 16-core Intel Core Ultra 7 255H, boosting to 5.1GHz, with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 carrying 6GB of GDDR6. You also get 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB SSD. The 16-inch 2K OLED touchscreen runs at 120Hz and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour range, with a 5MP IR camera above it. Try the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for videographers, photographers, architects and gamers across Kenya, the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl solves a familiar trade-off. Gaming laptops bring the graphics power but tend to be heavy and loud, while thin, light laptops stall on renders. This one pairs a real RTX graphics card with an aluminium body under 2kg. Kenyan YouTubers, TikTok creators and wedding videographers shooting in Karen and at KICC events can cut 4K footage in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve on location. Architecture students at JKUAT and the University of Nairobi can run Revit, SketchUp and Lumion on the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl.
No other 16-inch laptop available through Kenya's electronics retailers at KSh 140,000 combines an RTX 4050, 32GB of memory and a 120Hz OLED touchscreen in one slim chassis. Kenya's content creators report that the colour-accurate screen means fewer surprises when their edits reach a phone or TV. Mascom International delivers the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl countrywide with pay-on-arrival terms. Come in first if you want to see footage playing on the OLED panel, or a game running on the RTX 4050, before you decide.
Common Questions About the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl
Is the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl good for video editing?
Yes, the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl is one of the strongest 16-inch video-editing laptops at Mascom International. The NVIDIA RTX 4050 speeds up playback, effects and exports in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut through GPU acceleration. The 32GB of RAM keeps 4K timelines smooth, and the 1TB SSD holds active projects on the laptop itself. The OLED screen covers 100% DCI-P3, so colour grading matches what viewers see on modern phones.
Can the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl play modern games?
Yes, the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl plays modern games thanks to its dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 with 6GB of GDDR6 memory. Titles such as EA Sports FC, Fortnite, Valorant, Call of Duty and GTA V run comfortably at 1080p-class settings. NVIDIA DLSS boosts frame rates further in supported games. The 120Hz OLED panel then shows that extra smoothness. It is a strong gaming laptop disguised as a slim work machine, not a dedicated heavy gaming rig.
HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl vs HP OmniBook 7 16-az0595cl, what is the difference?
The HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl adds a dedicated NVIDIA RTX 4050 graphics card, while the OmniBook 7 16-az0595cl at KSh 137,000 relies on integrated graphics with a faster-clocked Core 9 270H processor. For video editing, 3D design and gaming, the AI model is far stronger. For pure coding and spreadsheets, both perform well. Paying KSh 3,000 more for the RTX 4050 is the better deal for almost any creative or gaming buyer.
What does the AI in the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl actually do?
The HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl carries an Intel AI Boost NPU rated at 13 TOPS, plus the far stronger AI power of the RTX 4050. The NPU handles background blur, eye contact correction and voice clean-up on calls without draining the battery. The RTX 4050 accelerates AI tools in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and local AI models. Together they shorten tasks such as masking subjects, removing noise and upscaling footage.
How long does the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl battery last?
The HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl carries a 70Wh battery, large for a slim 16-inch laptop. Office work, browsing and video playback give a full working session away from the socket, as the laptop switches to efficient integrated graphics for light tasks. Gaming and rendering use the RTX 4050 and drain it much faster, so plug in for heavy work. The 100W USB-C adapter restores about 50% in roughly 30 minutes, handy between KPLC outages.
Is the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl good for architecture and design students?
Yes, the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl suits architecture, interior design and quantity surveying students well. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion and Twinmotion all benefit from the RTX 4050 graphics card and 32GB of memory. The 16-inch 2K screen shows fine drawing detail, and touch input speeds up navigation around 3D models. At about 1.92kg, it is light enough to carry to studio sessions, site visits and client reviews across Nairobi.
Who should buy the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl, and who should skip it?
Buy the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl if you edit video, design in 3D, game or work with AI tools and want one slim laptop for all of it. Skip it if your work is only documents, email and calls; the HP OmniBook 5 16-af1017wm handles that for KSh 11,000 less. Skip it too if you want tablet mode with a stylus; the HP OmniBook X Flip 16-as0023dx at Mascom International fits that better.
Does the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl run hot in Kenyan weather?
The HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl stays cool and quiet during office work, because light tasks run on the efficient integrated graphics. Under gaming or long renders, the fans spin up to keep the Core Ultra 7 255H and RTX 4050 within safe temperatures. In warmer places such as Mombasa, Kisumu and Garissa, use it on a hard, flat surface rather than a bed or cushion. A simple laptop stand improves airflow further.
Is the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl worth KSh 140,000 in Kenya?
Yes, for creators and gamers the HP OmniBook 7 AI 16-ay0575cl is strong value at KSh 140,000. Spread over three years, that is about KSh 128 per day for a machine that edits 4K video, runs design software and plays modern games. Buying a separate gaming laptop and a slim work laptop would cost far more. The OLED screen, 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD also mean no upgrades are needed for years.
