Elden Ring for PlayStation 5 is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 5,200 for a brand new and sealed physical disc. This is the standard PS5 edition of the open-world action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The Elden Ring disc carries an ESRB Mature 17+ rating and holds the full base game, without the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Collect your copy at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for countrywide delivery. Elden Ring won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2022.

Built for console players across Kenya who want a long, demanding adventure, Elden Ring drops you into the Lands Between with almost no hand-holding. You choose where to ride, which boss to challenge, and how to shape your character, whether as a heavy knight, a sorcerer, or a nimble archer. Students at Kenyatta University and Strathmore who share one console in the hostel can each keep separate characters on a single disc. Working adults get a game that rewards one focused hour after the office, because each attempt at a boss teaches its pattern.

Where many Nairobi sellers offer opened or pre-owned discs at similar prices, Mascom International hands over factory-sealed stock you can inspect before paying. Compared with the digital version, the Elden Ring disc can be lent to a friend or resold once you finish. Buyers throughout Kenya tell us a physical copy also spares their capped home internet from a full game download. Walk into our Kimathi Street store to pick up Elden Ring today, or order through WhatsApp and pay only when the disc reaches your door.

Yes, Elden Ring at KSh 5,200 gives you one of the longest single-player campaigns on PS5 for the money. A first run through the main story takes dozens of hours, and optional dungeons, hidden bosses, and multiple endings add far more. Spread across 60 evening sessions, the price works out to roughly KSh 87 per session. New Game Plus then lets you restart with your character intact, so the disc keeps paying back long after the credits roll.

No, this Elden Ring disc is the standard base game only and does not include Shadow of the Erdtree. The expansion is sold separately as downloadable content on the PlayStation Store and installs on top of this disc. To enter it, you must first defeat two specific bosses in the base game, Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood. Most players reach that point after many hours, so buying the base disc first is the sensible order of spending.

The Elden Ring disc needs a PS5 with a disc drive, which means the standard PS5 or the PS5 Slim with a drive. The PS5 Slim Digital Edition and the PS5 Pro arrive without a built-in drive, so they read this disc only after you attach Sony's separately sold Disc Drive. The original PS5 Digital Edition cannot take that add-on at all. The disc also will not run on a PS4, because the case holds the PS5 version only.

Elden Ring suits players who want freedom, while Demon's Souls suits players who want a tighter, more linear challenge. Demon's Souls is Bluepoint's remake of a 2009 FromSoftware classic, built as a PS5 exclusive around five worlds reached from a central hub. Elden Ring opens a connected map you cross on horseback, and you can often leave a tough boss and return stronger later. That flexibility makes Elden Ring the gentler entry point, and Mascom International stocks both discs.

Elden Ring plays fully offline as a 1-player game, so the whole campaign works without a connection once installation and updates finish. Online features need a PlayStation Plus subscription, which unlocks co-op summons, player invasions, and messages left by other players. Sony lists support for up to 6 online players. Kenyan gamers can buy PlayStation Plus from Mascom International and pay by M-Pesa. Staying offline also keeps invaders out if you prefer to explore alone.

Elden Ring saves automatically and often, so a sudden Kenya Power outage usually costs you only the last few minutes of play. A hard shutdown can still put save data or system files at risk, so many of our customers pair their PS5 with a UPS from Mascom International. On the internet side, the game installs from the disc itself and only updates download. Run those updates overnight on Safaricom Home Fibre, Zuku, or a data bundle and play by morning.

Yes, Elden Ring on PS5 offers a frame-rate mode that targets 60 frames per second, alongside a quality mode that favours higher resolution. You can switch between them in the in-game graphics settings at any time. Ray tracing arrived later through a free update, but it is a visual option that costs some smoothness, so many players leave it off for boss fights. On a 4K television, quality mode looks sharper, while frame-rate mode makes dodging feel more responsive.

Elden Ring is for patient players who enjoy learning from failure and exploring without a map marker for every task. It suits university students, office workers unwinding after Nairobi traffic, and anyone who finished other big open-world games and wants a sharper test. Skip it if you want a relaxed story game, quick multiplayer matches, or something for children, because the Mature 17+ rating reflects blood, gore, and violence. Casual players are better served by a PlayStation Plus subscription to sample varied titles first.

No, PS5 game discs are not region-locked, so this ESRB-rated Elden Ring copy plays on consoles bought in Kenya, Dubai, the UK, or the United States. Your PlayStation account region does not stop the disc from starting either. The visible difference from a European copy is the box rating, which shows ESRB Mature 17+ instead of a PEGI label. Voice acting is in English, and on-screen text covers English, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish on this release.

Every Elden Ring copy leaves our Kimathi Street shelf in its original factory shrink-wrap, so you break the seal yourself.

Like most current PS5 releases, expect little or no printed documentation, since controls and tutorials sit inside the game itself. No download code for Shadow of the Erdtree is included, because this is the base edition. We check the seal and cover with you at collection or on delivery.

Mascom International backs the Elden Ring disc with a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects, including a disc that fails to read or install on a working PS5. Bring or send the disc in its case to our Nairobi CBD service desk, and we replace a faulty copy with a new sealed one. Scratches and cracks from handling after purchase fall outside this cover.

Elden Ring for PS5 is on the shelf at Mascom International, Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
