Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank is available at Mascom International for KSh 3,800, a magnetic battery pack with up to 15W wireless output, a 20W USB-C Power Delivery port and 18W USB-C recharging. Each unit is brand new and sealed, made by Porodo, the Dubai-based mobile accessories brand. The Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank clings to the back of a MagSafe iPhone and can charge a second device by cable at the same time. Porodo offers it in black, white, blue and orange. Collect yours from our shop on the First Floor of the Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for iPhone users across Kenya who spend long days away from a socket, the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank handles the moment a phone hits 15 percent at 4 PM. Estate agents showing houses in Kilimani, sales teams on client visits and NGO field staff upcountry all lean on phone maps, calls and M-Pesa through the day. A cable power bank in a pocket gets tangled on a crowded matatu. The Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank sticks to the phone, so you keep using it while it charges.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that stock unnamed magnetic packs with no published output figures, Mascom International sells the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank with its wired and wireless ratings stated by the maker. Customers across Nairobi tell us it has become their backup plan for KPLC power cuts, since one charged pack keeps a phone running through an evening outage. Come to our Kimathi Street shop to test the magnetic hold on your own phone, or order the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank on WhatsApp and pay on arrival.
Common Questions About the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank
How much is the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank in Kenya?
The Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank costs KSh 3,800 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, brand new and sealed. That price includes a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects and pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya, same day within Nairobi. No wall charger comes with it, so recharge it from a USB-C adapter you own or one bought from us. The Porodo Magnetic Wireless Power Bank with Built-in Cables 10000mAh in the same batch costs KSh 5,000, KSh 1,200 more.
Which phones work with the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank?
The Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank snaps magnetically onto MagSafe iPhones, which means iPhone 12 and most later models. Wireless output runs at up to 15W. Any phone, Android included, can charge from its 20W USB-C port using a suitable cable. Android phones with wireless charging can also draw power wirelessly when held against the pad, though without the magnetic grip unless you fit a magnetic case or ring. Check that your iPhone case is MagSafe-rated, because thick standard cases weaken the hold.
Should I buy the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank or the Porodo Magnetic Wireless Power Bank with Built-in Cables?
Choose the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank at KSh 3,800 if you mostly charge by magnet and carry your own cable. Both packs hold 10000mAh. The Magnetic Wireless Power Bank with Built-in Cables costs KSh 5,000 and adds attached leads, so you never forget a cable at home. Students and light travellers who want the lower price should take the MagSafe model. Buyers who charge a partner's phone or earbuds often, and hate hunting for cables, will prefer the built-in version.
Can I charge two devices at once with the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank?
Yes, the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank charges a phone wirelessly and a second device through its USB-C port together. In that mode Porodo rates output at 5W wireless plus 10W over USB-C, lower than either port alone. That suits topping up an iPhone and a pair of earbuds on a long bus ride from Nairobi to Mombasa. For the quickest top-up on one phone, use a single output: up to 15W wireless or 20W through USB-C Power Delivery.
Does the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank cope with Kenyan heat and power cuts?
Porodo rates the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank for use between 10°C and 45°C, which covers normal conditions in Nairobi, Kisumu and the coast. Do not leave it on a car dashboard in direct sun, where temperatures climb past that range. During KPLC outages, a full pack keeps your phone alive for calls, M-Pesa and news. Recharge it at 18W from any USB-C charger as soon as power returns, so it is ready for the next cut.
Who should buy the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank, and who should skip it?
Buy the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank if you own a MagSafe iPhone and want cord-free top-ups while you keep using the phone. It suits commuters, field workers and frequent travellers. Skip it if you need several full charges for long trips upcountry or camping without power; the Porodo 20000mAh Solar Power Bank at KSh 7,800 holds twice the capacity and can top up from sunlight. Android users without wireless charging gain little from the magnet and may prefer a standard cable pack.
Can I carry the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank on a flight from JKIA?
Power banks of 10000mAh fall well below the 100Wh cabin limit most airlines apply, so the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank can travel in your hand luggage. Keep it in your carry-on bag, never in checked luggage, as airline rules require for lithium batteries. Check your airline's current policy before flying from JKIA or Moi International Airport. Some carriers ask that power banks stay switched off and unused during the flight, so charge your phone before boarding.
How do I recharge the Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank?
The Porodo 10000mAh MagSafe Power Bank recharges through its USB-C port at up to 18W, using either 5V/3A or 9V/2A input. A USB-C Power Delivery charger of 18W or more reaches the top rate, while a basic 5V phone charger works more slowly. The same port doubles as the 20W output for wired charging. Porodo does not publish a full recharge time, so we do not quote one. Plug it in overnight and it will be ready by morning.
Technical Specifications
Core Function: Battery and Output
- 10000mAh battery capacity — enough stored energy for several phone top-ups through a long working day away from sockets.
- Magnetic wireless output at 5W, 7.5W, 10W or 15W — the pack adjusts its wireless speed to suit the phone attached.
- USB-C Power Delivery output up to 20W — PD lets the pack and phone agree on a faster, safe charging voltage.
- USB-C output profiles: 5V/3A, 9V/2.22A and 12V/1.67A — standard steps that cover most phones, earbuds and small tablets.
- Simultaneous output at 5W wireless plus 10W USB-C — charge an iPhone and a second gadget together at reduced speed.
Compatibility
- MagSafe iPhones — iPhone 12 and most later models attach magnetically and charge wirelessly at up to 15W.
- Android phones with wireless charging — they can charge wirelessly too, held in place with a magnetic case or ring.
- Any phone over USB-C — Samsung, Tecno, Infinix, Oppo and others charge by cable through the 20W port.
- Earbuds and wearables — USB-C earbud cases and similar small gadgets top up through the wired output.
- iPhone cases — use a MagSafe-rated case, because thick standard cases weaken the magnetic hold and slow charging.
Build
- Strong magnetic hold — Porodo lists a firm magnetic grip, so the pack stays on while you text, call or browse.
- Single USB-C port for input and output — one port recharges the pack and charges other devices by cable.
- Operating range of 10°C to 45°C — keep it out of hot parked cars and direct sun to stay within that range.
- Colour options of black, white, blue and orange — confirm the colour in stock with us on WhatsApp before ordering.
- Model codes PDPBFCH067BK, WH, BU and OG — the Porodo part numbers for the black, white, blue and orange versions.
