Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Mascom International stocks Mortal Kombat 11 at KSh 3,800, a brand new and sealed PS4 physical disc of the 2019 fighting game from NetherRealm Studios. Mortal Kombat 11 launched in April 2019 with 25 playable fighters, a film-style story about Kronika, the keeper of time, and a gear system that lets you build your own versions of each fighter. Fatal Blows and Krushing Blows reshape how rounds swing. Collect Mortal Kombat 11 at our shop in the Old Mutual Building on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for delivery.
Designed for players who want the modern Mortal Kombat without paying for a complete edition, Mortal Kombat 11 handles story nights, practice sessions and close rivalries with friends. Developers, accountants and sales teams in Westlands and Upper Hill tell us they pick it up for short after-work rounds. University of Nairobi and Moi students like it because one disc gives a full single-player campaign and two-player versus. The usual problem with fighting games is a steep learning curve that pushes new players away. Mortal Kombat 11 answers it with a detailed tutorial that explains every system, from blocking to frame data.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops mix sealed and opened copies on one shelf, Mascom International sells every Mortal Kombat 11 disc sealed, with a 6-month warranty on disc defects. This is the base 2019 edition; Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, with all add-on fighters and the Aftermath story, sits KSh 200 higher in our stock. At Mascom International, we're seeing steady demand for Mortal Kombat 11 from buyers moving up from older entries. Order on WhatsApp, pay with Lipa na M-Pesa on arrival, and receive it the same day within Nairobi.
Common Questions About the Mortal Kombat 11
What does Mortal Kombat 11 cost on PS4 in Kenya?
Mortal Kombat 11 costs KSh 3,800 for a sealed PS4 disc at Mascom International on Kimathi Street, Nairobi. That price includes a 6-month warranty on disc defects and pay-on-arrival delivery to every county. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, which adds all the extra fighters and the Aftermath story, costs KSh 4,000, a gap of KSh 200. The older Mortal Kombat X shares the KSh 3,800 price, and Mortal Kombat XL costs KSh 3,700, so all four series discs sit within KSh 300.
Should I buy Mortal Kombat 11 or Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate?
Buy Mortal Kombat 11 if the 25 launch fighters and the main story are enough; buy Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate if you want everything. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate adds Kombat Pack 1, the Aftermath story expansion, Kombat Pack 2 and Shao Kahn as a playable fighter. That means guests such as The Joker, Spawn, RoboCop and Rambo. The core fighting, modes and Krypt are the same. At Mascom International the difference is KSh 200, so buyers who expect to play for months usually find the fuller edition easier to justify.
What are Fatal Blows and Krushing Blows in Mortal Kombat 11?
Fatal Blows are high-damage attacks in Mortal Kombat 11 that unlock when your health drops below 30 percent. Each player can land one Fatal Blow per match, which gives a losing player a real comeback chance. Krushing Blows are critical versions of special moves that trigger under set conditions and can take up to 30 percent of health at once. Together they replace the X-Ray moves of Mortal Kombat X, and learning when each one triggers is a large part of winning.
Does Mortal Kombat 11 need an internet connection to play in Kenya?
Mortal Kombat 11 plays its story mode, Klassic Towers and local versus fights from the disc without internet. Online matches need PlayStation Plus, and some reward-based modes connect to Warner Bros. servers, so an occasional connection helps you get the full game. Safaricom Home Fibre or Airtel home internet handles online fights better than a weak mobile signal. Because KPLC power cuts can interrupt a session, a small UPS on the console and router keeps a ranked match from dropping mid-round.
Can you customize fighters in Mortal Kombat 11?
Yes, Mortal Kombat 11 lets you build custom variations of each fighter by choosing gear pieces, special moves and intro and victory poses. The gear changes how a fighter looks, while the chosen special moves change how they play. Gear and cosmetic items are earned through play, including from the Krypt, an explorable island full of chests. Players across Kenya who like collecting enjoy this side of the game, since it keeps rewarding you long after the story ends.
Does Mortal Kombat 11 support cross-play with Xbox players?
Mortal Kombat 11 supports online cross-play between PS4 and Xbox One players in select modes, the first time the series offered it. That widens the pool of opponents beyond PlayStation owners when you search for a match. Switch and PC players are not part of that cross-play. Kenyan players benefit because local online lobbies are small, so a larger pool means faster matchmaking at odd hours. You still need PlayStation Plus on PS4 to play online.
Is Mortal Kombat 11 a good choice for beginners?
Mortal Kombat 11 suits beginners better than most fighting games because its tutorial walks through basics, combos, defence and harder timing skills step by step. Each fighter also has its own practice lessons. A precisely timed block opens a short counter window, which gives newer players a defensive tool to learn early. The game is rated 18 by PEGI and M by the ESRB for its graphic violence, so beginners should be adults. Most new players settle on two or three favourite fighters.
Who should buy Mortal Kombat 11 and who should skip it?
Mortal Kombat 11 suits adult players who want the modern series, a full story campaign and gear customization at KSh 3,800. Skip it if you want every fighter released for the game, because Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate includes all of them for KSh 200 more. Skip it too if you want horror film guests such as Jason, Leatherface and Predator, who appear in Mortal Kombat XL instead. Buyers who prefer a tag-team crossover fighter can consider Marvel vs Capcom Infinite at KSh 4,500 from our stock.
Technical Specifications
Core Function and Gameplay
- One-on-one fighting game from NetherRealm Studios, released for PS4 in April 2019 on Unreal Engine 3 — the eleventh main series entry.
- 25 playable fighters in the base game, two of them unlocked by playing — a roster mixing veterans and newer series characters.
- Fatal Blows unlock below 30 percent health, once per match — a built-in comeback move that keeps losing rounds tense until the end.
- Krushing Blows turn certain special moves into critical hits with x-ray style injury scenes — up to 30 percent damage in one strike.
- A block timed to the exact moment of impact opens a counter window — good defence turns directly into a chance to punish.
- Mercy returns from the classic games, letting the winner revive a beaten opponent with a sliver of health before the final finish.
Compatibility and System Support
- Built for PlayStation 4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro — the disc installs to the console's storage, then stays in the drive to play.
- One player against the computer or two players on one console — local versus needs a second controller of your own.
- Online play with cross-play against Xbox One players in select modes — PlayStation Plus and a stable connection are required.
- PS5 consoles with a disc drive play most PS4 discs through backward compatibility — the PS5 Digital Edition cannot accept this disc.
- Updates download from PlayStation Network after install — connect at least once so balance fixes and server-linked modes work correctly.
- Story, towers and local versus run offline from the disc — a dropped home connection never stops a two-player evening.
- Detailed tutorial covering movement, combos, defence and frame data — newcomers can learn the full system without outside guides.
Build and Disc Format
- Standard PS4 Blu-ray disc in a blue PlayStation case — the format every PS4 in Kenya reads without adapters or extra hardware.
- Factory shrink-wrap unbroken on each copy — the disc reaches you clean, unscratched and never used by a previous owner.
- Physical edition, so you own the disc outright — it can be lent to a friend, traded in or kept on the shelf.
- Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment — the same team behind Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2.
- Rated 18 by PEGI and M by the ESRB for graphic violence and gore — intended for adult players only, not for children.
- Base 2019 cover art without the label of the complete edition — compare the case in store if you want to confirm which edition you hold.
Inclusions and Content
- Story mode in which Kronika rewrites time, so past and present versions of fighters meet — a full campaign told through cutscenes between fights.
- Klassic Towers, Towers of Time, practice and AI battle settings — single-player modes that run beside online and local versus.
- Custom variations built from gear, moves and poses — each fighter can be tuned to your style rather than fixed sets.
- The Krypt, an explorable island of chests and puzzles — unlock gear, skins, concept art and finishers simply by playing.
- Fighters include Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Liu Kang, Kitana, Jade and Geras — a mix of classic names and newer faces.
- No Kombat Packs, no Aftermath expansion, and no console, controller or cables — those extra fighters come with Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate.
Package Contents
Mortal Kombat 11 ships as one sealed PS4 game case holding the game disc, exactly as the publisher packed it. The cover shows the standard 2019 art, so you can tell it apart from the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate case at a glance. The package contains no console, controller, HDMI cable or charging cable, and no codes for add-on fighters. If you want those fighters on day one, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is the edition to choose. We check every seal at Mascom International before dispatch.
Warranty
Mascom International covers Mortal Kombat 11 with a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, such as a disc that will not read or install on a working PS4. Warranty claims are handled at our Nairobi CBD service desk in the Old Mutual Building.
