Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is in stock at Mascom International for KSh 9,500, brand new and sealed, as the standard edition on a PS5 physical disc. Developed by Asobo Studio and published by Xbox Game Studios, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 reached PlayStation 5 on 8 December 2025. The disc installs the core sim, while the planet's terrain, cities and live weather stream from the cloud as you fly. Pick up Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 at our store in Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for countrywide delivery.

Built for aviation fans, student pilots and PS5 owners who want more than an arcade shooter, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 lets you plan a route and fly it in real time. Trainees at the Wilson Airport flight schools can rehearse circuits, radio calls and approaches at home before paying for hours in a real cockpit. Career mode adds paid jobs such as medevac, aerial firefighting, search and rescue, cargo runs and airline passenger flights. Real flying lessons cost serious money per hour, while repeating the same approach on a PS5 costs only time and a steady connection.

Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell game discs with no word on what they need, Mascom International tells you upfront that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 depends on a stable internet line. Buyers throughout Kenya tell us that honest answer matters more to them than a sales pitch, because it saves a wasted purchase. If you have home fibre and a PS5 with a disc drive, the sim gives you the whole planet to explore. Pay only when the disc reaches you anywhere in the country, or walk in Monday through Saturday and leave with it the same day.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for PS5 costs KSh 9,500 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, as the standard edition on disc. That price gets you a physical copy you can keep on the shelf, lend to a friend or resell later. It also includes the 6-month disc warranty set out below and pay-on-arrival delivery across Kenya. Free World Updates and Sim Updates from Asobo Studio reach the PS5 version at no cost, while optional aircraft and scenery in the in-game marketplace are sold separately.

The PS5 disc holds the core install of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, but the detailed world streams from the cloud, so treat a steady internet connection as a requirement. Satellite imagery, 3D cities, terrain detail and live weather download as you move across the map, because the full planet is far too large to store on a console. Expect an update download when you first insert the disc. Without a connection, the detailed scenery and online features are not available, so this is not a game for offline play.

An unlimited home fibre plan from Safaricom Home Fibre, Zuku or Faiba is the right connection for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in Kenya. The sim keeps pulling scenery for as long as you fly, and one published test measured bursts of up to 180 Mbps over busy cities. Slower lines still work but load detail more gradually. Mobile data bundles drain fast on long flights, so avoid them for regular play. Plug your PS5 and router into a UPS so a KPLC outage does not end a long-haul flight halfway.

Yes. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 gained full PS VR2 support through Sim Update 5, released free on 30 April 2026. The entire sim plays inside the headset, so you turn your head to scan the cockpit, glance down at instruments and check traffic over your shoulder. This disc copy unlocks VR with no extra purchase or code. The PS VR2 headset itself is sold separately. Take regular breaks on long flights, because seated VR sessions of several hours tire the eyes faster than a TV screen.

Yes, with limits. At the PS5 launch, the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS 4 was the flight stick and throttle set confirmed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with more devices promised later. Other HOTAS units have shown compatibility quirks on PlayStation, so check your exact model with us on WhatsApp before you buy one. The DualSense remains fully usable, with adaptive triggers, gyro control, air traffic control audio through the controller speaker and a customisable touchpad. Many players start on the DualSense and add a stick later.

Only if the console has a disc drive attached. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on disc plays on the original disc PS5 and the PS5 Slim with its drive fitted. A PS5 Digital Edition or PS5 Pro needs Sony's attachable disc drive, sold separately, before it can read this copy. The disc must sit in the drive each time you launch the game, which is how the console confirms ownership. If you own a drive-less console and no plans to add a drive, the PlayStation Store download suits you better.

Buy the PS5 version if you already own a PS5 or want virtual reality. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 reached Xbox Series X on 19 November 2024 and PS5 on 8 December 2025, and unlike the Xbox version, the PS5 copy supports a VR headset, through PS VR2 since 30 April 2026. There is no crossplay, so PS5 pilots fly only with other PS5 pilots. Marketplace purchases made on Xbox or PC do not transfer to PS5. If your friends already fly on Xbox or PC, join them there instead.

Buy Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 if you have home fibre, a PS5 with a disc drive, and patience for checklists, radio calls and long cruises. Student pilots, retired aviators and anyone curious about how aircraft really fly get the most from it. Skip it if you rely on mobile data, play mostly offline, or want fast dogfights and explosions. Those players are better served by an arcade flying game such as Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, which runs on PS5 and needs no constant connection.

Yes. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 maps the whole planet from satellite and aerial data, so Kenyan airspace is there to explore. You can depart Jomo Kenyatta International, follow the Great Rift Valley north, or circle the peaks of Mount Kenya at sunrise with live weather. Kenyan towns are drawn mainly from satellite imagery and generated buildings, so expect less detail than the photogrammetry cities found in parts of Europe and North America. Free World Updates keep improving individual regions over time.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 arrives factory sealed in its PS5 retail case, exactly as Xbox Game Studios ships the standard edition. Inside you get:

No headset, flight stick or add-on voucher comes in the box. A PS VR2 headset and a Thrustmaster stick are separate purchases, and the core sim installs from the disc with no code required.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 carries a 6-month Mascom International warranty on manufacturing defects of the disc. If a fault from the factory means your PS5 cannot read the disc or complete the install, the warranty applies. Bring the disc to our Nairobi CBD service desk, where our team examines it and settles the claim in person.
