Luigi's Mansion 3 is in stock at Mascom International for KSh 7,100, brand new and sealed in its retail case for Nintendo Switch. Developed by Next Level Games and published by Nintendo, Luigi's Mansion 3 first launched on October 31, 2019, and it still sells steadily at our counter. Luigi explores a haunted hotel floor by floor, using a ghost-catching vacuum and a gooey green double called Gooigi to solve puzzles. You can collect your copy from our shop in the Old Mutual Building on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Built for families, siblings and university students sharing one console across Kenya, Luigi's Mansion 3 fixes a common problem. Many Switch adventures leave the second child waiting for a turn. Here, a second player takes control of Gooigi in local co-op, so two people clear the same floor together. The ScreamPark party mode then opens the game to up to eight players on a single console. When KPLC cuts the power in the evening, the Switch keeps running on battery, and the story carries on in handheld mode without a TV.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops mix resealed or second-hand cartridges into their game shelves, Mascom International sells Luigi's Mansion 3 only in its factory seal. Customers across Nairobi tell us they buy it as a birthday or Christmas gift because both parents and children enjoy it. Sealed copies also hold their resale value well if you finish the game and want to trade it on later. Pay with M-Pesa when the parcel arrives, or walk in and pay at the counter. Luigi's Mansion 3 costs less than Kirby and the Forgotten Land on our Switch shelf.
Common Questions About the Luigi's Mansion 3
How much is Luigi's Mansion 3 for Nintendo Switch in Kenya?
Luigi's Mansion 3 costs KSh 7,100 at Mascom International in Nairobi, brand new and sealed in its retail case. That price includes our 6-month cartridge warranty and pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties, so you see the sealed case before any money leaves your M-Pesa. Other Nintendo family titles on our Switch shelf sit close by: Kirby and the Forgotten Land is KSh 7,500 and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is KSh 7,900, so this is the lower-priced pick of the three.
Can two people play Luigi's Mansion 3 together on one Switch?
Yes, Luigi's Mansion 3 supports two-player local co-op through the full story on one console. Player one controls Luigi while player two controls Gooigi, a green copy who can slip through grates and spikes that stop Luigi. Each player needs a controller, so one Joy-Con each works well. This makes it a strong choice for parents who want to play alongside a child, or for siblings who keep fighting over a single-player game.
How does Luigi's Mansion 3 compare with Kirby and the Forgotten Land?
Luigi's Mansion 3 is a slower puzzle adventure where you search rooms and capture ghosts, while Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a faster 3D platformer built around running, jumping and copying enemy powers. Both support two-player co-op and suit families. Luigi's Mansion 3 costs KSh 7,100 and Kirby is KSh 7,500 at Mascom International, a KSh 400 gap. Pick Luigi for spooky exploration and clever room puzzles; pick Kirby for younger children who prefer simple action stages.
Will Luigi's Mansion 3 play on a Switch Lite, Switch OLED or Switch 2?
Luigi's Mansion 3 plays on the original Nintendo Switch, the Switch OLED and the Switch Lite, which runs it in handheld mode. On the Lite, the second co-op player needs a separate controller paired to the console. Nintendo Switch 2 reads original Switch cartridges through backward compatibility, so this copy should work on it as well. Nintendo keeps a compatibility list on its website, and we can confirm the latest status for you on WhatsApp before you order.
Does Luigi's Mansion 3 need internet to play in Kenya?
No, the full story mode of Luigi's Mansion 3 plays offline straight from the cartridge. Internet matters only for game updates and for online multiplayer, which needs a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. A home Wi-Fi line or a Safaricom or Airtel data bundle covers small updates. Because the story runs offline, it works well on a long matatu ride or a road trip upcountry to Nakuru or Eldoret, where signal can drop between towns.
Is Luigi's Mansion 3 too scary for young children?
Luigi's Mansion 3 uses comic, cartoon scares rather than gore, so most families find it gentle enough for primary school children. The ghosts are silly, Luigi is visibly nervous, and the jokes come from his reactions. Toddlers or sensitive children may still find some dark corridors and sudden ghost appearances tense. Check the age rating printed on the case, and play the first floor together if you are unsure how your child will react.
Who should buy Luigi's Mansion 3 and who should skip it?
Luigi's Mansion 3 suits families, couples who want a relaxed co-op game, and players who enjoy searching rooms and solving puzzles at their own pace. Skip it if you want fast racing or competitive matches against friends; Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at KSh 7,000 fits that crowd better. Fans who want open-world freedom and long exploration should look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is KSh 7,500 at Mascom International.
Is Luigi's Mansion 3 a good gift, and does it keep its value?
Yes, Luigi's Mansion 3 is one of the safer Switch gifts because it appeals to children and adults alike. A sealed retail case also looks right when wrapped, and the buyer knows nobody has used it before. Nintendo titles tend to hold their resale value in Kenya better than many third-party games, so you can trade it on later if the household moves to another title. We can deliver it to a relative's door anywhere in the country.
Technical Specifications
Gameplay and Core Function

- ScreamPark party mode supports up to eight players on a single console — a ready-made game for birthday parties and family visits.
- Multiplayer supports up to eight players locally and online — online play requires a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.
- First released worldwide on October 31, 2019 — a mature, fully patched game with no early-launch bugs to worry about.
Console Compatibility
- Plays on the original Nintendo Switch in TV, tabletop and handheld modes — one cartridge covers living-room play and travel.
- Plays on the Switch OLED with its larger handheld screen — the dark hotel corridors look clearer on the OLED panel.
- Plays on the Switch Lite in handheld mode — co-op on the Lite needs a second controller paired to the console.
- Works on Nintendo Switch 2 through backward compatibility — check Nintendo's compatibility list or ask us on WhatsApp for the latest status.
- Region-free like other Switch cartridges — a copy bought in Nairobi runs on consoles from Europe, the US or Asia.
- Second player can use one Joy-Con, a Pro Controller or another compatible pad — no special accessory is needed for co-op.
Cartridge Build and Storage
- Standard Nintendo Switch game card in a plastic retail case — small enough to carry in a wallet-sized cartridge holder.
- Game runs directly from the cartridge — no need to free up large amounts of console storage before playing.
- Save data is stored on the console, not the cartridge — your progress stays safe if you lend the game to a friend.
- Updates download to console storage, not the cartridge — keep some free space on the Switch or a microSD card.
- Factory-sealed case with intact wrapping — proof that the cartridge has never been played, rented or swapped.
- Cartridge is solid-state with no moving parts — it handles bags, heat and matatu bumps better than a disc.
Inclusions and Updates
- Sold as the full base game on cartridge — every story floor and the ScreamPark mode are playable without extra purchases.
- Free updates arrive over the internet — a home Wi-Fi line or a Safaricom or Airtel bundle handles them easily.
- Single-player and local co-op work fully offline — no data costs at all for the main story.
- Online multiplayer requires Nintendo Switch Online — a separate paid membership bought through the Nintendo eShop.
- Delivered as one sealed retail case — no accessories are bundled, so the price reflects the game alone.
- On-screen prompts teach the vacuum, plunger and Gooigi controls as you play — new players learn without reading anything first.
Package Contents
Your order arrives as a single sealed retail case for Nintendo Switch, with the Luigi's Mansion 3 game cartridge inside. Nothing else is bundled: there are no controllers, no codes and no add-ons in the case. Modern Nintendo releases rarely include a thick printed manual, as the game teaches its controls on screen as you play. Because the case stays sealed until you open it, you know the cartridge has never been used or swapped.
Warranty
Mascom International backs Luigi's Mansion 3 with a 6-month warranty covering a faulty cartridge that will not read on a working Nintendo Switch console. If the game card fails to load under normal use, bring it with your receipt to our Nairobi CBD service desk at the Old Mutual Building for assessment.
