The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard is now in stock at Mascom International for KSh 6,000, as an original Lenovo OEM part that arrives brand new and sealed. The ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard replaces the complete six-row keyboard on the 12.5-inch ThinkPad Yoga 260 and the 13.3-inch ThinkPad Yoga 370. That includes the red TrackPoint pointing stick and the LED backlight beneath the keys. You can buy it at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, where our technicians can fit it for you.

Built for owners of convertible ThinkPads who actually fold them, this part suits consultants presenting in tent mode across Westlands and Upper Hill boardrooms. It also suits lecturers marking scripts with a pen in tablet mode, and field staff typing reports between site visits. A Yoga that spends years flipping between positions wears its keyboard harder than an ordinary clamshell. Keys get pressed against tables and laps while the screen faces outward. When letters stop registering or the light dies, the ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard brings back full typing without replacing a laptop that still runs well.

Where many Nairobi repair stalls fit unbranded copies without a working backlight, Mascom International stocks the original ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard. The key feel, the lighting and the TrackPoint therefore match what left the factory. Customers across Nairobi tell us the difference shows within a day of typing, especially on the spacebar and arrow cluster. Send a photo of your current keyboard on WhatsApp so we can confirm the layout before you pay. Then visit Kimathi Street for fitting, or order the ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard for pay-on-arrival delivery across all 47 Kenyan counties.

Yes, Mascom International sells the ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard for both convertibles. The Yoga 260 is the 12.5-inch model Lenovo released in 2016 with 6th generation Intel chips. The Yoga 370 is the 13.3-inch successor from 2017 with 7th generation chips. Check the model name on the label underneath your laptop before ordering. If it reads ThinkPad Yoga 260 or ThinkPad Yoga 370, send that photo on WhatsApp and we confirm the match within working hours.

The ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard layout varies by unit, so confirm it on WhatsApp before paying rather than assuming. Look at your current Enter key first. A tall Enter key spanning two rows, with a small hash key beside it, means UK layout. A wide single-row Enter key, with a long backslash key above it, means US layout. The 2 key helps too: UK keyboards print the double quote mark there, while US keyboards print the at sign.

This is an original Lenovo OEM keyboard, sold brand new and sealed by Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. Copies sold around town often skip the backlight layer or use thinner keycaps that shine within weeks. On the original, the ThinkPad key profile, the TrackPoint cap and the light pattern all match your factory keyboard. In store, our technician can lay the new part beside your old one so you compare the labels and connectors yourself before fitting.

For a Yoga that originally had a backlight, the original ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard is the better buy. A cheaper unlit copy removes a feature you paid for and often types with a looser feel. An external Bluetooth keyboard such as a Logitech K380 works, but it adds one more gadget to carry and leaves broken keys under your palms. In tent and tablet mode, a separate keyboard also defeats the point of a convertible.

A convertible ThinkPad is best fitted by a technician, and Mascom International offers in-store fitting at Kimathi Street. Inside a 2-in-1, the hinge carries display, touchscreen and pen cables close to the keyboard connectors. The internal battery must be disconnected first, and the ribbon cables tear if forced. One creased cable can cost more than the keyboard itself. Bring the laptop and charger, and we hand back your old keyboard once the new one tests clean.

The backlight is the biggest everyday win in Kenya, because it keeps you typing on battery when the power goes off at night. Lenovo specified the Yoga 370 keyboard as spill-resistant, which helps with a small chai splash but not a full cup. Shut down, turn the laptop over and wipe immediately. If you carry the laptop through dusty stretches like Thika Road on the matatu commute, a soft brush between the keys every week keeps them clean.

Press Fn and the Space bar together to switch the ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard light on, then press again to change level or switch off. No driver or app installation is needed, because the control runs through the keyboard itself. The LEDs draw little power, but switching them off in daylight still stretches a long day away from a socket. Note that lighting only works where your laptop's board supports it, so confirm your unit first.

Buy the ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard if your convertible still runs well but has dead keys, sticky keys, missing keycaps or a failed light. Lecturers at University of Nairobi and Kenyatta University keep these Yogas for pen marking, and a fresh keyboard extends that use. Skip it if you own a ThinkPad X1 Yoga, Yoga 11e or consumer Lenovo Yoga, which use different keyboards. If your battery, screen and board are all failing, a used HP EliteBook from Mascom International is the better fit.

Yes, if the rest of the laptop works, because KSh 6,000 restores daily usefulness without the cost of another convertible. A Core i5 Yoga 260 or Yoga 370 still handles Word, Excel, Zoom calls and KRA iTax filing comfortably. The keyboard is usually the first part to wear on a machine folded thousands of times. Replacing it with the original part, backed by the warranty below, buys you more working years from hardware you already own.

The ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard arrives as a service replacement part rather than in a retail gift box, sealed in protective packaging.

Screws and tools are not part of the package, because in-store fitting reuses the screws already inside your laptop.

The ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard carries a 6-month Mascom International warranty on manufacturing defects, such as keys that stop registering, a backlight that fails or a TrackPoint that drifts under normal use. Bring the laptop to our Nairobi CBD service desk for assessment. Liquid spills, drops and damage from forced fitting fall outside manufacturing-defect cover.

Mascom International stocks the ThinkPad Yoga 260 and Yoga 370 Backlit Keyboard in classic ThinkPad black at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD. Walk in Monday through Saturday between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM with your laptop and charger, and our technician can fit and test the keyboard in front of you.

Three ways to order:

Pay-on-arrival delivery reaches every Kenyan county. Nairobi and its environs receive the keyboard the same day. Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and all other major towns receive it within 1 business day. Mandera, Wajir, Marsabit, Lamu, Tana River, and Turkana receive delivery within 2-3 business days. You inspect the part and pay only when it arrives, and buyers outside Nairobi should have a trusted technician handle the fitting.

The keyboard comes with the 6-month Mascom warranty detailed above.

Mascom International has built its reputation on accurate part matching, current Kenyan pricing and direct after-sales support from our Nairobi CBD store, for convertible ThinkPads and every other laptop we service.
