Huawei Band 11 Metal Version is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 7,300, brand new and sealed. It pairs an aluminium alloy case with a 1.62-inch AMOLED display that reaches 1,500 nits, a battery rated for up to 14 days and 5 ATM water resistance. The Huawei Band 11 measures heart rate, SpO2, heart rate variability, sleep and stress, and it logs more than 100 sports modes. Made by Huawei and backed by a 12-month warranty, it is ready for collection at Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Designed for accountants, lawyers, estate agents and office staff who want health data without a sporty plastic look, the Huawei Band 11 Metal Version moves from a Westlands boardroom to an evening gym session without a change of watch. Many professionals stop wearing trackers because they clash with a suit or need charging every night. This band answers both: the metal case reads as a dress accessory, and a single charge can last two weeks with light use. Calls, WhatsApp chats and calendar reminders reach the wrist, and the built-in speaker handles a short call when your phone is out of reach.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops stock only the polymer version or unverified imports, Mascom International carries the full Huawei Band 11 range with local warranty support. Buyers throughout Kenya report that the aluminium finish is the reason they chose this model over cheaper no-name bands sold on the street. The Huawei Band 11 Metal Version costs KSh 600 more than the Standard Version and KSh 900 less than the Huawei Band 11 Pro. Come to our Kimathi Street store to compare all three side by side, or order on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery.
Common Questions About the Huawei Band 11
What is the Huawei Band 11 Metal Version price in Kenya?
The Huawei Band 11 Metal Version sells for KSh 7,300 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, sealed in its original Huawei box. You get the band with its strap, a magnetic charging cable and a 12-month warranty, plus pay-on-arrival delivery across Kenya by cash or M-Pesa. Compared with the rest of the family we stock, it sits KSh 600 above the Huawei Band 11 Standard Version at KSh 6,700 and KSh 900 below the Huawei Band 11 Pro Metal Version at KSh 8,200.
Should I get the Huawei Band 11 Metal Version or step up to the Huawei Band 11 Pro?
Get the Huawei Band 11 Metal Version if you track workouts with your phone nearby; choose the Pro if you want routes recorded without a phone. The Pro adds built-in GNSS, a slightly curved screen and 2,000 nits of peak brightness against 1,500 nits here. It is also a little longer at 43.5 mm against 42.6 mm. For KSh 900 more, the Pro suits runners and cyclists. For office workers and gym users, the Metal Version covers every health sensor they need.
How long does the Huawei Band 11 battery last through KPLC power cuts?
A full charge gives the Huawei Band 11 up to 14 days with light use and up to 8 days with normal use, so a KPLC outage rarely matters. Huawei rates the light-use figure on 50 messages, 6 calls, one 30-minute workout and 3 alarms a day. Turning on Always On Display cuts that to about 3 days. If power is out for long, the magnetic cable also charges from a power bank or a laptop running on its own battery.
Who is the Huawei Band 11 Metal Version for, and who should look elsewhere?
The Huawei Band 11 Metal Version is for professionals who want a tracker that looks at home with office wear and still handles workouts and sleep tracking. It also suits anyone who prefers an aluminium case for the price. Look elsewhere if you mainly want the lowest price; the Standard Version gives identical features for KSh 6,700. Serious runners should take the Huawei Band 11 Pro for its GNSS, and those wanting a round watch face should consider the Huawei Watch GT 6.
Can I answer phone calls on the Huawei Band 11?
Yes, the Huawei Band 11 has a built-in speaker for hands-free calls while it stays connected to your phone over Bluetooth 6.0. When a call comes in, the band vibrates, shows the caller's name and lets you answer from the wrist. That helps when you are driving through Nairobi traffic, carrying shopping or working with greasy hands. The phone must stay within Bluetooth range, since the band has no SIM card of its own. Longer or private calls are still better on the handset.
Does the Huawei Band 11 Metal Version suit formal office wear?
The Huawei Band 11 Metal Version suits formal office wear well because its aluminium alloy case looks closer to jewellery than a gym gadget. The case measures 42.6 x 28.2 x 8.99 mm, slim enough to slip under a shirt cuff at an Upper Hill meeting. You can swap the watch face in the Huawei Health app to a classic analogue style for client days. The strap is fluoroelastomer, and the metal colours are Beige, Green, White and Black.
How does the Huawei Band 11 measure stress and recovery?
The Huawei Band 11 measures stress and recovery through heart rate variability, or HRV, which is the small change in time between one heartbeat and the next. Higher, steadier HRV usually signals a rested body, while a falling trend can point to poor sleep, illness or overwork. The band combines HRV with sleep data and resting heart rate to give a daily stress reading. Use it to plan lighter days after a hard week, not as a medical diagnosis.
Is the Huawei Band 11 worth buying in Kenya in 2026?
The Huawei Band 11 is worth buying in Kenya if you want two weeks of battery, solid health sensors and a bright AMOLED screen under KSh 10,000. At KSh 7,300 for the Metal Version, the cost over a two-year lifespan works out to about KSh 10 per day. It pairs with Android phones and iPhones through the Huawei Health app. Local warranty support at Mascom International also removes the risk that comes with buying from informal sellers on Luthuli Avenue.
Technical Specifications
Display and Screen Quality
- 1.62-inch AMOLED panel — each pixel lights itself, so blacks look deep and text stands out clearly against dark backgrounds.
- 286 x 482 resolution — enough pixels for crisp numbers, readable message previews and detailed watch faces on a small screen.
- Up to 1,500 nits brightness — strong enough to check pace and heart rate outdoors on a bright afternoon in Nairobi.
- 60Hz screen refresh — menus and lists scroll fluidly because the image updates sixty times every second, so swiping through notifications never feels sticky.
- Always On Display — the clock stays visible without a wrist raise, at the cost of shorter battery life of about 3 days.
Health and Fitness Sensors
- Optical heart rate sensor — measures pulse through the skin day and night, giving resting and workout heart rate data.
- SpO2 blood oxygen readings — a percentage showing how much oxygen your blood carries, helpful when you feel unwell or hike uphill.
- Heart rate variability (HRV) — the basis for the band's stress and recovery readings, updated through the day so you can spot tiring weeks early.
- Sleep stage tracking — separates light, deep and REM sleep, so you can see why some nights leave you more rested than others.
- 100+ workout modes — from walking and running to swimming and gym routines, each logged with time, heart rate and calories.
Battery Life and Charging
- Up to 14 days of light use — based on Huawei's test of messages, calls, a short workout and alarms each day.
- Up to 8 days of normal use — closer to real life for anyone who exercises daily with notifications switched on.
- Around 3 days with Always On Display — a fair trade if you want the time showing at all times, much like a regular wristwatch would.
- Magnetic charging cable — attaches to contacts on the back of the case, leaving no exposed port for sweat to corrode.
- Charges from common USB power — a phone charger, laptop or power bank all work, which helps during blackouts or long journeys upcountry by bus.
Connectivity and App Support
- Bluetooth 6.0 — a current wireless standard that keeps the band linked to your phone with low power use, even when the phone sits in a bag.
- Huawei Health app on Android and iPhone — stores long-term history, sets alerts, changes watch faces and shows weekly and monthly health trends in charts.
- Notifications — WhatsApp, SMS, email, call alerts and reminders show on the wrist with a short vibration.
- Speaker for hands-free calls — take quick calls from the band while your phone stays within Bluetooth range.
- No subscription needed — all core health and workout features work without monthly fees after purchase, so the KSh 7,300 price is the full cost.
Build and Materials
- Aluminium alloy case — the Metal Version uses a metal shell that looks more formal than the polymer Standard Version.
- Fluoroelastomer strap — a soft, sweat-resistant strap that cleans easily with a damp cloth and holds its shape after months of daily wear.
- Slim 8.99 mm thickness and a 42.6 x 28.2 mm face — sits flat on the wrist and slides under a shirt or blouse cuff without snagging.
- 5 ATM water rating — fine for handwashing, rain and pool swimming, but keep it away from diving and hot showers.
- Wrist fit from 130 to 210 mm — covers most adult wrists, while the Beige strap covers 120 to 190 mm for slimmer wrists.
