Dynasty Warriors 9 is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 4,200 for a brand new and sealed PS4 physical disc. Published by Koei Tecmo, this action game drops you into one large open-world map of ancient China during the Three Kingdoms era, with 90 officers to play as. It runs on every PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro, and it plays on PS5 consoles that have a disc drive. Pick up Dynasty Warriors 9 at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for pay-on-arrival delivery.
Designed for players who want a long single-player adventure, Dynasty Warriors 9 handles the evenings when you just want to switch on and fight. Its Musou combat puts one hero against thousands of soldiers, so even a short session feels busy and loud. Many Kenyan gamers face slow or costly internet, and that is where this game earns its place: the story mode plays offline, and online play is optional. Students at Kenyatta University and JKUAT, shift workers coming home late, and parents looking for a weekend game for older teens get dozens of hours from one disc without worrying about data bundles running out.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that mix sealed and second-hand discs on one shelf, Mascom International sells Dynasty Warriors 9 factory sealed, so the case, disc and inserts reach you untouched. At Mascom International, we're seeing steady demand for action games that work without a constant connection, and Dynasty Warriors 9 fits that need well. Visit our Kimathi Street shop to see the sealed copy for yourself, or message us on WhatsApp and have Dynasty Warriors 9 brought to your door, paying when it arrives.
Common Questions About Dynasty Warriors 9
What is the Dynasty Warriors 9 PS4 price in Kenya?
Dynasty Warriors 9 for PS4 sells for KSh 4,200 brand new and sealed at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. The price covers the game disc in its original case and a 6-month warranty on disc defects. We deliver pay-on-arrival to all 47 counties, so nothing is paid until the game reaches you. PS Plus is only needed if you want the optional online play, and it is bought separately on your PlayStation account.
Can I play Dynasty Warriors 9 offline on PS4?
Yes, Dynasty Warriors 9 plays offline, and its story mode does not need an internet connection. PlayStation lists online play as optional, which suits gamers in Kenya with limited data or patchy home internet. If you later want to team up online with one friend, PS Plus is required for online play, with up to two players. Downloading game updates once in a while still needs a connection, but the main game runs from the disc.
Does the Dynasty Warriors 9 PS4 disc work on a PS5?
Yes, the Dynasty Warriors 9 PS4 disc works on any PS5 console that has a disc drive, thanks to backward compatibility. You insert the disc, install the game and play it as a PS4 title on the newer console. A PS5 Digital Edition has no disc drive, so it cannot read this copy. PlayStation notes that some PS4 features may be unavailable when the game runs on a PS5.
How does Dynasty Warriors 9 compare with Dead by Daylight?
Dynasty Warriors 9 is a mainly single-player action game, while Dead by Daylight is an online-only horror game. Dynasty Warriors 9 lets you play offline through a long story with 90 officers, and online co-op is optional. Dead by Daylight needs internet and PS Plus for every match, pitting one Killer against four Survivors. At Mascom International, Dynasty Warriors 9 is KSh 4,200, which is KSh 600 less than Dead by Daylight. Choose Dynasty Warriors 9 if you mostly play alone.
Is Dynasty Warriors 9 a good choice during KPLC power cuts and slow internet?
Dynasty Warriors 9 is a sensible pick for Kenyan homes with unreliable internet, because its story mode runs without a connection. You can play on a quiet night even when your Safaricom or Airtel Kenya bundle is finished. Power is a different matter: a KPLC blackout switches off the console, and unsaved progress can be lost. Save often at the end of each battle, and consider a small UPS so a short outage does not cut your session.
Who should buy Dynasty Warriors 9 and who should skip it?
Dynasty Warriors 9 suits players who enjoy big hack-and-slash battles, Chinese history and a long story they can finish alone. It is also a good fit for anyone whose internet is slow or costly. Skip it if you want fast competitive matches against real people, or a slower game with deep puzzles and dialogue choices. Players who want an online open world shared with other people may prefer Fallout 76, also stocked at Mascom International.
How many characters can you play in Dynasty Warriors 9?
Dynasty Warriors 9 gives you 90 officers to choose from, drawn from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms story. Each officer has their own weapon and fighting style, so switching characters changes how battles feel. The story follows the rise and fall of rival kingdoms across one large open map of ancient China. Fans who grew up on earlier Dynasty Warriors games will recognise many famous generals, while newcomers can start with any hero they like.
Is Dynasty Warriors 9 suitable for teenagers?
Dynasty Warriors 9 carries a PEGI 16 rating for violence, so it is meant for players aged 16 and above. The fighting involves swords, spears and large battles, but the focus is on historical warfare rather than horror. Parents in Nairobi buying for a younger teen should weigh that rating first. The PS4 parental controls let you set age limits and manage play time, and online features can be switched off since the game plays offline.
