WWE 2K23 is available at Mascom International for KSh 4,100 as a brand new and sealed PS5 physical disc, ready for any PlayStation 5 with a disc drive. Published by 2K and developed by Visual Concepts, WWE 2K23 puts John Cena on the cover and builds its Showcase mode around his 20-year career. The disc also brings WarGames, a double-ring steel cage match for 3v3 and 4v4 teams, alongside MyGM, MyRISE, Universe and MyFACTION. Collect your copy from Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for delivery.
Built for wrestling fans across Kenya who want a full WWE season without paying for the newest release, WWE 2K23 suits university students sharing a console in hostels at Kenyatta or JKUAT, families with a PS5 in the living room, and gaming lounge owners filling evening slots. The usual problem is cost. Newer editions sell for thousands of shillings more, and buying digitally means loading a PlayStation wallet first. The disc removes both hurdles. You pay once, by cash, card or Lipa na M-Pesa, and the game stays yours to replay, lend or trade later.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops cannot say where a disc came from, Mascom International supplies WWE 2K23 factory sealed, with 2K's shrink wrap intact. Customers across Nairobi tell us they choose this edition for WarGames nights, because four players a side fills a sofa quickly and keeps everyone involved. At KSh 4,100, WWE 2K23 costs KSh 900 less than WWE 2K25 and KSh 3,150 less than WWE 2K26 on our shelves. Visit the Kimathi Street store to pick it up the same day, or message us on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in the country.
Common Questions About the WWE 2K23
How much is the WWE 2K23 PS5 disc in Kenya?
The WWE 2K23 PS5 disc costs KSh 4,100 brand new and sealed at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. That price covers the game disc in its retail case, a 6-month warranty against disc defects, and pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties. WWE 2K25 sits KSh 900 higher at KSh 5,000, while WWE 2K26 costs KSh 7,250. For buyers watching their budget, WWE 2K23 gives the full modern format for less. You can pay through M-Pesa, cash or card.
Is WWE 2K23 still worth buying, or should I get WWE 2K25?
WWE 2K23 is worth buying if WarGames and a John Cena career story matter more to you than a current roster. WWE 2K25 adds The Island, an online hub built only for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, plus intergender matches, the Bloodline Rules and Underground match types, and a Bloodline-themed Showcase. WWE 2K23 still covers every main mode, including MyGM for up to 4 players. Pick WWE 2K23 to keep KSh 900 in your pocket; pick WWE 2K25 for mixed-gender bouts and online MyGM.
What is WarGames in WWE 2K23, and how many people can play it?
WarGames in WWE 2K23 is a team match fought across two side-by-side rings inside one double steel cage. It runs as 3v3 or 4v4, so up to eight superstars brawl at the same time. It was the headline addition to this edition, and it rewards teamwork more than any single move set. Customers across Nairobi tell us it is the first mode they load when friends visit. Local WarGames works offline, while online WarGames needs a PlayStation Plus subscription on your account.
Will a KPLC power cut damage my WWE 2K23 disc or save files?
A sudden KPLC power cut will not scratch the WWE 2K23 disc, but it can interrupt a save in progress. The PS5 installs the game to its internal storage, so the disc mainly confirms ownership each time the game starts. Losing power mid-save in Universe or MyGM can cost you that week's progress. Many of our customers plug the console into a UPS, which Mascom International also stocks, so there is time to save and shut down properly when the lights go off.
Can I play WWE 2K23 online in Kenya on Safaricom or Airtel internet?
Yes, WWE 2K23 plays online from Kenya on Safaricom Home Fibre, Airtel Kenya home internet or Zuku, as long as your PS5 account has PlayStation Plus. Online play covers MyFACTION multiplayer, WarGames and standard matches. A wired Ethernet cable gives steadier matches than Wi-Fi in flats with thick concrete walls. Offline modes such as Showcase, MyRISE and Universe need no subscription at all, so the disc still delivers many hours of play on a weak connection or a capped bundle.
What does the John Cena Showcase in WWE 2K23 cover?
The WWE 2K23 Showcase is an interactive documentary narrated by John Cena that walks through his 20-year WWE career. The twist is that you mostly play as his opponents, trying to beat Cena in the marquee matches that defined him. His commentary between bouts explains each rivalry, so younger fans who missed his peak years learn the history as they play. The whole Showcase runs offline, which makes it a good choice for evenings when the home internet is down.
What other modes come with WWE 2K23 besides WarGames and Showcase?
WWE 2K23 also includes MyRISE, MyGM, Universe and MyFACTION on the same disc. MyRISE offers two career storylines, The Lock and The Legacy, built around a superstar you create. MyGM lets you run a weekly show against rival general managers across multiple seasons, with up to 4 players on one console. Universe is a sandbox for booking rosters, feuds, champions and pay-per-view style events. MyFACTION has you collect Superstar and Legend cards to build a team for online play.
Who should buy WWE 2K23, and who should skip it?
Buy WWE 2K23 if you want a complete wrestling game for KSh 4,100 and you enjoy local multiplayer, Cena-era nostalgia and booking your own weekly shows. It suits students, families and gaming lounges in towns like Kisumu and Nakuru where every shilling counts. Skip it if you follow the current WWE roster closely, since three yearly editions have followed and the lineup has changed a lot. Those buyers are better served by WWE 2K26 at KSh 7,250, which carries more than 400 superstars.

PS5 Compatibility and Performance
- Platform version — the native PS5 release rather than the PS4 copy, so no upgrade step is needed on PlayStation 5.
- Disc drive required — plays on any PS5 with a built-in drive; Digital Edition and PS5 Pro owners need the add-on drive.
- Installation — the console copies game data to its internal SSD, so clear some storage space before inserting the disc.
- Ownership check — the disc must sit in the drive to launch the game, working much like a physical key to your copy.
- Loading speed — the PS5 solid-state drive cuts waiting time between menus and matches compared with older hard-drive consoles.
- Controller support — plays on the DualSense controller included with every PS5; extra controllers open up local multiplayer matches.
- Patches — 2K released updates after launch, and the PS5 downloads them automatically whenever it connects to your home internet.
Disc and Online Requirements
- Offline play — Showcase, MyRISE, Universe, MyGM and local exhibition matches all run without internet once the game is installed.
- Online play — MyFACTION multiplayer and online matches require an active PlayStation Plus subscription on your PlayStation account.
- Connection quality — a stable fibre line beats mobile hotspot data for online matches, since lag spikes throw off reversal timing.
- No codes needed — no separate code or account purchase is required, because the licence to play is carried on the disc.
- Disc format — the game ships on a PS5 Blu-ray disc; returning it to the case after play protects its surface.
- Storage care — keep the case out of direct sun and damp rooms, since heat and moisture can warp plastic and cloud discs.
- Resale value — a physical disc can be lent, swapped or sold on later, something a store download does not allow.
