Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus | 50dB Adaptive ANC | LDAC Hi-Res Audio | 61.5 Hours Battery | 12mm LCP Driver
Lossless-grade streaming for Android owners with big libraries and long journeys ahead.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
The Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 7,000, brand new and sealed, with LDAC Hi-Res wireless audio, a 12mm LCP driver, adaptive noise cancellation up to 50dB and up to 61.5 hours of total playback. It belongs to CMF, the budget-focused sub-brand, and adds the LDAC codec that the cheaper Nothing CMF Buds 2 lacks. Each earbud weighs 4.5 grams and carries IP55 protection against dust and water. You can buy the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order delivery.
Built for music lovers, content creators and developers who spend long hours in earbuds, the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus handles both focused work and long trips. Many Android phones support LDAC, yet plenty of earbuds near this price stick to AAC and SBC. That leaves you streaming at lower quality even when your phone and music app can do better. This pair closes that gap, carrying more detail in vocals and instruments over Bluetooth. Adaptive noise cancellation tunes itself to your surroundings, whether you sit in a quiet Kilimani apartment or a loud co-working space, and 14 hours per charge with ANC off covers a full day.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that list earbuds with vague details, Mascom International states the codec, battery and protection figures for the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus up front. Buyers throughout Kenya tell us a long battery means they rarely think about charging, which matters when a KPLC outage runs for hours. The press controls on each stem are simple to learn, and dual connection keeps a laptop and phone paired together. Come to our Kimathi Street store to hear the difference LDAC makes, or order the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus on WhatsApp and pay when it arrives.
Common Questions About the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus
How much does the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus cost in Kenya?
The Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus costs KSh 7,000 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, sold as untouched retail stock. The box includes the earbuds, case, USB-C cable and spare ear tips, and delivery is pay-on-arrival anywhere in Kenya. A charging adapter is not supplied, and Nothing gives no local warranty here, as the Warranty section explains. It costs KSh 700 more than the Nothing CMF Buds 2 and KSh 500 less than the Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2.
Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus or Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2: which should you choose?
Choose the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus for battery life and the Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2 for its dial control and two-driver sound. Both support LDAC Hi-Res audio. The Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus lasts up to 61.5 hours with the case against 43 hours, and uses the newer Bluetooth 5.4. The Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2 pairs an 11mm bass driver with a 6mm tweeter and adds a rotating control dial on the case, for KSh 500 more.
What is LDAC, and will my phone use it with the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus?
LDAC is a Sony-developed Bluetooth codec that sends far more audio data than AAC or SBC, so music keeps more detail. The Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus supports LDAC, which is why it qualifies for Hi-Res wireless audio. Most Android phones running Android 8 or later include LDAC in their Bluetooth settings. iPhones do not support LDAC, so on an iPhone these earbuds fall back to AAC, which still sounds clean and full.
Is the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus good for long bus trips from Nairobi to Kisumu or Mombasa?
Yes, the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus suits long road trips, with up to 14 hours per charge with ANC off and 7.5 hours with ANC on. The case holds enough power for 61.5 hours in total, so a return trip to Mombasa will not drain it. Adaptive noise cancellation softens engine drone on the highway. If you stream over Safaricom or Airtel data, download playlists before leaving, because signal drops on some stretches of road.
How does adaptive noise cancellation work on the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus?
Adaptive noise cancellation on the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus reads the noise around you and adjusts its strength automatically, up to 50dB. In a quiet room it eases off, so you avoid the blocked-ear feeling that strong ANC gives some people. On a noisy street or in a crowded restaurant it steps up. You can also switch to Transparency mode when you need to hear a colleague or a station announcement clearly.
Is the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus good for mobile gaming?
The Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus works well for casual mobile gaming thanks to its low lag mode, which cuts audio delay. Footsteps and gunfire in games like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile line up more closely with the action on screen. For competitive tournament play, wired earphones still give the lowest delay. The spatial audio effect is better saved for films and series than for ranked matches.
Will the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus stay comfortable for long hours?
Each Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus earbud weighs 4.5 grams, light enough for a full day of lectures, coding or editing. Silicone ear tips in several sizes help you find a seal that holds without pressing hard. The stem keeps the controls outside the ear, so you are not pushing the bud deeper to pause or skip a track. Buyers with smaller ears should try the fit at our Kimathi Street counter first, since comfort varies from person to person.
Who should buy the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus, and who is better served by another pair?
The Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus suits Android owners who stream high-quality music and want 61.5 hours of total playback for KSh 7,000. Developers, writers and content creators who work long hours in earbuds will value it most. iPhone owners should skip it, because LDAC does not work on iPhone; the Nothing CMF Buds 2 gives them similar features for KSh 700 less. Anyone who prefers a physical dial over press controls will like the Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2.
Technical Specifications
Audio Hardware and Hi-Res Playback
- 12mm LCP driver — a liquid crystal polymer cone that is stiff and light, so it handles fast drum hits and fine detail cleanly.
- N52 magnets with high-purity copper wiring — stronger magnetic force gives tighter control of the driver as you turn the volume up.
- LDAC codec with Hi-Res wireless audio — carries far more music data than standard Bluetooth, so cymbals and vocals keep their texture.
- Adaptive ANC up to 50dB — the earbuds measure surrounding noise and raise or lower cancellation automatically as your setting changes.
- Transparency mode and spatial audio effect — hear your surroundings on demand, or widen the sound stage for films and series.
Wireless Connectivity
- Bluetooth 5.4 — a current Bluetooth version with a working range of about 10 metres from your phone or laptop.
- LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs — LDAC for supported Android phones, AAC for iPhones, and SBC for older devices.
- Dual connection — stays paired to a phone and a laptop together, so you can switch between them without re-pairing.
- Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair — pop-up pairing in one tap on Android phones and Windows laptops.
- Low lag mode — reduces audio delay, so game sounds and video dialogue line up more closely with what you see.
Battery and Charging
- Up to 14 hours per charge with ANC off — a full workday and the evening on the earbuds alone.
- Up to 7.5 hours per charge with ANC on — enough for a long-distance bus journey with noise cancellation running the whole way.
- Up to 61.5 hours in total with the case and ANC off, or 33 hours with ANC on — well over a week of typical listening.
- 460mAh case battery and 53mAh in each earbud — the case refills the earbuds several times before it needs a socket.
- 10-minute quick charge for about 2.4 hours of playback with ANC on, through the USB-C port on the case.

- IP55-rated earbuds — protected against dust and low-pressure water jets, so sweat, workouts and rain showers are covered.
- IPX2-rated charging case — handles light dripping water only, so keep the case in a dry pocket or bag outdoors.
- 4.5 grams per earbud — light enough that long study sessions and editing shifts do not leave your ears sore.
- 51.5 grams together with the case — sits comfortably in a jeans pocket, laptop sleeve or small handbag.

- Triple press — goes back to the previous track without reaching for your phone.
- Six HD microphones with Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and Wind Noise Reduction 3.0 — your voice stays clear on calls, even outdoors.
- App control with custom EQ — adjust bass, mids and treble to match your taste and the music you play most.
Package Contents
The Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus arrives with the two earbuds, the charging case, a USB-C cable, additional silicone ear tips and a printed quick guide. Following Nothing's usual approach, no wall adapter is in the box, so any USB-C phone charger or laptop port will do the job. Compatible USB-C chargers are sold separately at Mascom International if you need one. Our staff can help you swap tips at the counter for a better seal and stronger noise cancellation.
Warranty
Nothing has no official warranty service in Kenya, so the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus is sold without a local manufacturer warranty. You still get genuine retail stock, and our service desk in Nairobi CBD offers in-person help with pairing, LDAC setup and any after-sales questions.
