Huawei Band 11 | Standard Version | 1.62-inch AMOLED | 14-Day Battery | 5 ATM Water Resistance
A light polymer tracker that reads your pulse, sleep and oxygen levels without getting in the way.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Huawei Band 11 Standard Version is available at Mascom International for KSh 6,700, brand new and sealed, with a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen, up to 14 days of battery life and 5 ATM water resistance. This Standard Version of the Huawei Band 11 uses a polymer case and a soft fluoroelastomer strap, so it stays comfortable through a full day and night. It tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress and more than 100 sports modes. You can collect it from our store on the first floor of Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for university students, nurses, sales teams and anyone starting a fitness habit across Kenya, the Huawei Band 11 solves a common problem. Phones sit in pockets and bags, so steps, sleep and heart rate go unmeasured. On the wrist, the band records them all day, then shows the results in the Huawei Health app. Students at Kenyatta University and JKUAT use it to time study breaks and morning runs. Matatu commuters glance at messages without pulling out a phone at a crowded stage. A built-in speaker lets you take a quick call while your hands are full.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell grey-import bands with no local backing, Mascom International sells the Huawei Band 11 with a 12-month warranty and a walk-in service desk in the CBD. At Mascom International, we're seeing first-time tracker buyers choose the Standard Version because it keeps every health feature of the Metal Version for KSh 600 less. Customers across Nairobi tell us the two-week battery is what keeps the Huawei Band 11 on their wrist. Visit the store to try one on, or order on WhatsApp and pay on arrival anywhere in Kenya.
Common Questions About the Huawei Band 11
How much is the Huawei Band 11 Standard Version in Kenya?
The Huawei Band 11 Standard Version costs KSh 6,700, factory sealed, at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. That price includes the band, its strap, the magnetic charging cable and a 12-month warranty handled at our Kimathi Street service desk. Delivery is pay-on-arrival, so you pay by cash or M-Pesa only when the band is in your hand. If you prefer an aluminium case, the Huawei Band 11 Metal Version sells at KSh 7,300, which is KSh 600 more for the same screen, sensors and battery.
What is the difference between the Huawei Band 11 Standard Version and the Metal Version?
The Huawei Band 11 Standard Version has a polymer case, while the Metal Version has an aluminium alloy case; the screen, sensors and battery are the same. Both carry the 1.62-inch AMOLED display at 1,500 nits, 5 ATM water resistance and up to 14 days of battery. The Standard Version costs KSh 6,700 against KSh 7,300 for the Metal Version. Choose the Standard Version if function and budget come first. Pick the Metal Version if you want a dressier look for the office.
Can the Huawei Band 11 handle sweat, rain and swimming in Kenya?
Yes, the Huawei Band 11 is rated 5 ATM, so it handles sweat, heavy rain and swimming in a pool or at the coast. A 5 ATM rating means it resists water pressure equal to about 50 metres of depth in still water, which covers surface swimming but not diving or water-skiing. The long rains in Nairobi or a humid weekend in Mombasa will not trouble it. Rinse it in fresh water after a dip in the Indian Ocean, since salt and sand collect around the strap.
Who should buy the Huawei Band 11 Standard Version, and who should skip it?
The Huawei Band 11 Standard Version suits first-time tracker buyers, students and anyone who wants solid health data and long battery life for KSh 6,700. It covers heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress and more than 100 workouts. Skip it if you run or cycle outdoors and want your route mapped without carrying a phone; the Huawei Band 11 Pro has built-in GNSS for that. If you want a larger, round watch face and a classic watch build, the Huawei Watch GT 6 is the better fit.
Does the Huawei Band 11 work with iPhone and Android phones?
The Huawei Band 11 pairs with both Android phones and iPhones through the Huawei Health app over Bluetooth 6.0. On Android, the app installs from Huawei AppGallery; on iPhone, it comes from the App Store. Once paired, the band syncs steps, sleep, heart rate and workouts to your phone history. It works with the Huawei, Samsung, Tecno, Infinix and Redmi phones most Kenyans carry. Our staff at Mascom International will set up the pairing for you in the store if you prefer.
How accurate is the Huawei Band 11 for heart rate and sleep tracking?
The Huawei Band 11 gives dependable trend data for heart rate, sleep and blood oxygen, which is what most people need to spot changes over weeks. It reads your pulse through the day, tracks sleep stages overnight, and checks SpO2 and heart rate variability, a sign of how well your body is recovering. It is a wellness tracker, not a medical device, so use it to guide habits rather than diagnose a condition. Wear it a finger's width above the wrist bone for steadier readings.
Will the Huawei Band 11 show WhatsApp and M-Pesa messages?
Yes, the Huawei Band 11 shows notifications from your phone, including WhatsApp chats, SMS and M-Pesa confirmation messages. You choose which apps can alert you in the Huawei Health app, so a busy day of Lipa na M-Pesa payments does not have to buzz your wrist nonstop. The band vibrates and shows the message on its 1.62-inch screen, which helps in a meeting or on a packed matatu. You read on the band; replying to longer messages still needs your phone.
Is the Huawei Band 11 good for university students on a budget?
The Huawei Band 11 is a sound pick for university students because it costs KSh 6,700 and needs charging only about every two weeks with light use. Students at the University of Nairobi, Strathmore and USIU use it as a silent vibrating alarm for early lectures, a step counter on campus and a sleep tracker during exam weeks. Pay-on-arrival delivery reaches hostels in Nakuru, Eldoret and Kisumu the next business day. The soft strap stays comfortable through long library sessions.
Technical Specifications
Display
- 1.62-inch AMOLED screen — large enough to read a full WhatsApp message or a workout summary without squinting at your wrist.
- 286 x 482 pixel resolution — sharp text and clear icons, so step counts and heart rate figures read cleanly at a glance.
- 1,500 nits peak brightness — nits measure screen brightness, and this level keeps the display readable in midday sun on an outdoor walk.
- 60Hz refresh rate — the screen redraws 60 times a second, so swiping between menus and widgets feels smooth rather than jumpy.
- Always On Display option — keeps the time visible without lifting your wrist, though it shortens battery life to about 3 days.
Health Sensors
- Heart rate monitoring around the clock — records your pulse day and night, so you can follow resting heart rate trends over weeks.
- Blood oxygen (SpO2) measurement — shows how well oxygen is reaching your blood, useful during illness recovery or on high hikes.
- Heart rate variability (HRV) tracking — measures the tiny gaps between heartbeats, a common sign of recovery, fatigue and stress.
- Sleep and stress tracking — splits each night into sleep stages and gives a daily stress reading to guide bedtimes and rest days.
- More than 100 sports modes — logs walking, running, cycling, swimming and strength sessions, with heart rate recorded for each workout.
Battery
- Up to 14 days with light use — Huawei's test assumes 50 messages, 6 calls, a 30-minute workout and 3 alarms per day.
- Up to 8 days with normal use — a realistic figure for people who log daily workouts and keep most notifications switched on.
- About 3 days with Always On Display — the screen stays lit all day, so plan to charge twice a week with this setting.
- Magnetic charging — the cable snaps onto the back of the band, so there is no small open port to clog with dust or sweat.
- Battery level on the band and in the app — you see when a top-up is due well before the band runs flat.
Connectivity
- Bluetooth 6.0 — a recent Bluetooth version that keeps a steady link to your phone and syncs data while drawing little power.
- Huawei Health app — available for Android and iPhone; it stores your full history and lets you change watch faces and alert settings.
- Message and call alerts — WhatsApp chats, SMS, incoming calls and calendar reminders appear on the wrist with a gentle vibration.
- Built-in speaker for calls — answer and talk through calls from the wrist while your phone stays connected nearby in a bag.
- Phone pairing in minutes — scan, confirm and sync through the app, with no account fees or subscriptions needed for core tracking.
Build
- Polymer case — the Standard Version uses a light, durable plastic case that suits everyday wear, gym sessions and sleep.
- Fluoroelastomer strap — a soft, rubber-like strap that resists sweat and wipes clean in seconds after a workout.
- 42.6 x 28.2 x 8.99 mm body weighing about 16 to 17 grams — slim enough to slide under a shirt cuff without catching.
- 5 ATM water resistance — safe for rain, handwashing and swimming in shallow water, but not for diving or hot saunas.
- Fits wrists from 130 to 210 mm — covers most adult wrists, while the Purple strap fits 120 to 190 mm for smaller wrists.
