Cricket 26 | PS5 Disc | Official Game of the Ashes | Standard Edition | Big Ant Studios | PEGI 3
Scout recruits, run the dressing room as manager, then face press conferences before every urn showdown between England and Australia.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Cricket 26 PS5 is now in stock at Mascom International for KSh 7,000, a brand new and sealed Standard Edition disc of The Official Game of the Ashes. Big Ant Studios developed Cricket 26 PS5 and Nacon publishes it, with PlayStation Store listing a release date of 19 November 2025. The disc carries a PEGI 3 rating, English voice and on-screen text, DualSense vibration, Remote Play support, and online matches for up to four players with PlayStation Plus. Collect your copy at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for delivery to any county.
Built for the strategist rather than the button-masher, Cricket 26 PS5 adds a Management Career where you scout, recruit and train a squad, then set match plans for run rates and wickets. That suits accountants, software developers and university students who follow Test cricket closely and want to make the selection calls themselves. Fans who watch every England versus Australia session get an expanded Ashes Mode with net sessions and press conferences. Cricket followers in Parklands and Westlands who once caught only highlights on their phones can now run a full five-Test series from the sofa.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell copies of uncertain origin, Mascom International supplies Cricket 26 PS5 in its original factory wrap, so the disc has never been installed on another console. Buyers across Kenya tell us cricket titles are hard to find locally, because most shops shelve football and racing games first. At KSh 7,000, Cricket 26 PS5 costs KSh 600 more than the Cricket 22 disc we also stock, a gap explained in the questions below. Pay-on-arrival delivery reaches all 47 counties, and Nairobi orders usually arrive the same day.
Common Questions About the Cricket 26 PS5
Is Cricket 26 worth it over Cricket 22?
Cricket 26 is worth the extra KSh 600 if you want the Management Career, Pro Team with Centurion multiplayer, and the current Ashes licence. Cricket 22 at KSh 6,400 stays the smarter buy for offline players who mainly want quick matches at a lower price, or who value its 2021 line-up of T20 leagues such as the Big Bash and The Hundred. Pick Cricket 26 PS5 if you enjoy guiding a squad across seasons. Pick Cricket 22 if you simply want to bat and bowl. Mascom International stocks both in Nairobi CBD.
Does the Cricket 26 PS5 disc work on a PS5 Pro or Digital Edition?
The Cricket 26 PS5 disc needs a console with a working disc drive, such as a standard PS5 or a disc-equipped PS5 Slim. The PS5 Pro and Digital Edition ship without one, so they need Sony's separate Disc Drive attached before this disc will install. Once the drive is fitted, the game plays exactly as it does on any disc console. If you own a drive-less console in Kenya, message Mascom International first so we can talk through the better option for your setup.
Who should buy Cricket 26 PS5, and who should skip it?
Cricket 26 PS5 suits patient fans who enjoy tactics, long formats and building a team over many weeks. Skip it if you want fast pick-up-and-play sport for a party, because a football title keeps four friends busy with far less learning. Young children may struggle with shot timing despite the PEGI 3 rating. If your budget is tight, the Cricket 22 disc covers batting, bowling and fielding for KSh 6,400. Mascom International can point you to the right title on WhatsApp before you spend.
How does Cricket 26 PS5 cope with power cuts and slow internet in Kenya?
The Cricket 26 PS5 disc installs the core game from the disc, so you are not pulling the whole title over Safaricom Home Fibre or an Airtel 4G router. Patches and online modes still need a connection. Plan for a large install, since Nacon lists 80GB of storage for the PC version. A KPLC blackout during an update can interrupt it, so a UPS on the console is a sensible addition, and Mascom International stocks UPS units at our Kimathi Street store.
Can you play Cricket 26 PS5 with friends, both locally and online?
Cricket 26 PS5 supports online matches for up to four players with an active PlayStation Plus membership, according to PlayStation Store. Centurion, a new multiplayer mode inside Pro Team, pits your card-built squad against other players. For couch play, a second DualSense lets a friend captain the opposing side on the same screen. Remote Play is supported too, so you can stream a session to a phone or laptop in another room while the family keeps the TV.
What does the Management Career in Cricket 26 PS5 let you do?
Management Career is a new mode in Cricket 26 PS5 that puts you in charge of the whole squad rather than one player. You scout talent, recruit, run training, and set match strategy, including settings for run rates and wicket-taking intent. It suits fans who argue about selections after every Test. Pair it with The Academy, where you create and share stadiums, players, bats and teams, so you can even build a Kenyan eleven from your own picks.
Is Cricket 26 PS5 worth KSh 7,000 in Kenya?
Cricket 26 PS5 is fair value at KSh 7,000 for a fan who plays weekly through a long Ashes or career campaign. Spread over a year, that works out to about KSh 19 a day, less than a single matatu fare across town. Nacon's own UK store lists the game at £59.99. A sealed disc can also be resold later, which a digital licence cannot. Buying from Mascom International adds a Kenyan receipt and a physical store to return to.
Does Cricket 26 PS5 use the DualSense controller features?
Cricket 26 PS5 supports DualSense vibration, so play on the field registers as feedback in your hands. PlayStation Store does not list adaptive trigger support, so do not buy it expecting resistance on the triggers. You can turn vibration down in the PS5 settings if it distracts you during long innings. Spare DualSense controllers for a second local player are sold separately at Mascom International, which saves you sharing one pad across a full Test.
Which languages and age rating does Cricket 26 PS5 carry?
Cricket 26 PS5 carries a PEGI 3 rating and runs in English for both voice and on-screen text. There is no violence or mature content, so parents can hand it to a child who already follows the sport. English-only menus suit most Kenyan players, since local cricket coverage is also in English. The game doubles as a gentle teaching tool for field placements, bowling changes and the basic laws of Test cricket, which helps new fans learn quickly.

- Adaptive triggers: not listed by PlayStation Store, so expect standard trigger behaviour without resistance effects.
- Second controller: a separate DualSense lets a friend take the opposing side locally on one screen.
- Controller charge: long Test innings drain the DualSense, so keep a USB-C cable close to the console.
- Settings: vibration strength adjusts in the PS5 system menu, useful for younger players new to the game.
Online Play, Players and Languages
- Online players: up to 4 players online, according to PlayStation Store, for group matches with friends.

- Voice language: English audio and commentary, the only voice option listed for this release.
- Screen language: English menus and subtitles, with no other on-screen languages listed by the store.
- Region: PS5 games are not region-locked, so this disc plays on consoles bought locally or abroad.
