Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 5,500, with an 11.1V rating and 4400mAh capacity. It is a brand new replacement battery for the Aspire 5720, 5920 and 5520, plus the 6920 series that shares the same AS07B31 pack shape. The Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery locks into the rear bay with the laptop's sliding catch, so the swap takes no tools. Find it at our store in Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Built for households and small offices across Kenya that still run a 15.4-inch Acer from the late 2000s, the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery suits teachers, church administrators, estate agents and students at JKUAT or the University of Nairobi. When the old pack fails, the laptop only works tethered to the wall, and any blackout ends the session instantly. That is a real cost for anyone typing lesson plans, rent schedules or eCitizen applications at home. Fitting a new Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery lets the machine move freely again, from the sitting room to a lecture hall in Juja or a site office in Thika.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops guess at battery fit, Mascom International checks the code against your laptop before money changes hands. Walk in with the machine and our team will seat the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery while you watch, or WhatsApp us the label from your old battery. Buyers throughout Kenya report that a new pack gives a dependable older laptop a useful second life at little cost. Order the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery for pay-on-arrival delivery, or collect it today.
Common Questions About the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery
How much does the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery cost in Kenya?
The Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery costs KSh 5,500 at Mascom International, Kimathi Street, Nairobi, sold as a brand new replacement pack. For that price you get the battery and a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. A charger is not included, and the price does not cover fitting labour, although the latch makes the swap a simple job. Delivery is pay-on-arrival in every county, so payment happens only after you see the pack.
Which battery codes does the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery replace?
The Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery replaces packs labelled AS07B31, AS07B32, AS07B41 and AS07B42. It fits the Aspire 5520, 5720 and 5920, along with the 6920 series built around the same bay. These codes sit on a sticker on the underside of your original battery. If the sticker is worn, photograph the model plate under the laptop and WhatsApp it to Mascom International on +254 708 852 521 for a quick match.
Why does the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery cost more than the Acer Aspire 4920 Laptop Battery?
The two packs fit different laptops, so price is not really the choice. The Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery costs KSh 5,500 and uses the AS07B shape for 15.4-inch Aspire 5520, 5720 and 5920 bodies. The Acer Aspire 4920 Laptop Battery costs KSh 3,500 and uses the AS07A shape for 14-inch models such as the 4720 and 4315. Both share an 11.1V, 4400mAh rating, but neither locks into the other's bay.
Can I carry a spare laptop battery on a flight from JKIA or on a long bus trip?
Yes, the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery stores about 48.8 watt-hours, below the 100 watt-hour line most airlines use for cabin batteries. Spare packs belong in hand luggage, not checked bags, and the contacts should be covered so they cannot touch keys or coins. On long bus rides to Kisumu or Mombasa, keep the laptop bag off the floor near the engine, where heat builds. Check your airline's own rules before flying.
Does the Aspire 5920G with dedicated graphics take the same battery?
Yes, the Aspire 5920G uses the same AS07B bay, so the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery fits it. Models with dedicated graphics draw more power, so runtime per charge is shorter than on the integrated-graphics versions. For longer sessions, set Windows to its power-saver plan and lower screen brightness. Our team at Mascom International can seat the pack in your exact model at the counter to confirm it locks and charges correctly.
How long will a replacement laptop battery keep working before it wears out?
Lithium-ion cells slowly lose capacity with every charge cycle, and heat speeds that up. The Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery will serve best if you keep it cool, avoid leaving it fully drained, and let it cycle now and then. Owners who work mostly plugged in can remove the pack and store it half-charged. Any manufacturing fault in the first six months is covered by the Mascom International warranty.
Who should buy the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery, and who should skip it?
Buy the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery if your Aspire 5520, 5720 or 5920 works well on mains power but cannot last on its own. It suits families sharing one home computer and small offices keeping a reliable machine in service. Skip it if your laptop has a 14-inch Aspire body, since the Acer Aspire 4920 Laptop Battery fits those instead. Also skip it if the laptop itself is failing.
Can I order the battery to Kisumu, Eldoret or Nakuru and pay on delivery?
Yes, Mascom International delivers the Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery pay-on-arrival to all 47 counties. Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru and other major towns receive orders within one business day. Before you pay the rider, compare the label code with your old pack and slide it into the laptop to confirm a firm lock. You can pay by M-Pesa or cash once you are satisfied the battery fits your machine.

- Six lithium-ion cells in a single sealed housing — the layout listed for this battery family.
- Brand new cells with zero charge cycles — a full-strength start rather than a worn second-hand pack.

- Also fits the Aspire 6920 series — it uses the same AS07B bay and connector.
- Replaces battery codes AS07B31, AS07B32, AS07B41 and AS07B42 — check the label on your old pack.

Build and Safety
- Black hard-shell casing — sits level with the laptop base once the catch clicks shut.
- Tool-free fitting via the laptop's sliding catch — nothing to unscrew and no case to open.
- Internal protection circuit — stops charging when full and cuts power if a short occurs.
- Firm metal contact block — gives the laptop a steady connection for reliable charging.
- Arrives at a safe shipping charge — charge it fully before the first day off the mains.
- Check for dents or swelling at delivery — pay-on-arrival lets you inspect before you pay.
Travel and Everyday Care
- Under the common 100 watt-hour cabin limit — fine in hand luggage on most flights from JKIA.
- Cover the contacts when carrying a spare — keys and coins in a bag can short exposed terminals.
- Keep the laptop bag away from engine heat on long bus trips — warmth ages lithium-ion cells.
- Switch Windows to power-saver mode — longer sessions on each charge, especially on 5920G units.
- Store an unused pack at about half charge in a cool room — it keeps its strength longer.
- Cycle the battery fully two or three times after fitting — the charge meter then reads accurately.
Inclusions
- One brand new replacement battery — the single item packed in the box.
- No charger supplied — the laptop's existing Acer adapter charges the pack in the bay.
- Laptop adapters are sold separately at Mascom International — our team matches the correct tip.
- 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects — claims handled at our Nairobi CBD service desk.

- Fit check at the counter on request — bring the laptop and watch the pack lock into place.
Package Contents
You receive one brand new Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop Battery and no other items. If your adapter has stopped working or its cable has frayed, compatible laptop adapters are sold separately at Mascom International. Bring the old adapter or its label along and our team will match the right connector at the counter.
