OnePlus Nord CE6 256GB with 8GB RAM is available at Mascom International for KSh 51,000, brand new and sealed. It pairs a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen with an 8000mAh battery. Inside sits the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, joined by a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and a 32MP selfie camera. The OnePlus Nord CE6 carries IP68 and IP69K ratings against dust and water, and supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging. The box ships without a charging adapter. You can see and test the phone at our store in the Old Mutual Building on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for university students, sales teams, field engineers and mobile gamers across Kenya, the OnePlus Nord CE6 suits people who cannot afford to run flat by mid-afternoon. A long day of M-Pesa payments, Google Maps, WhatsApp calls and video on a matatu commute drains most phones before evening. On the OnePlus Nord CE6, the 8000mAh battery gives you a much bigger reserve, and 80W charging refills it quickly when you reach a socket. The 144Hz screen keeps scrolling and games smooth, while the dust and water ratings mean a sudden downpour or a dusty site visit is not a worry.
Where many Nairobi electronics shops make vague warranty promises on imported phones, Mascom International is plain with you. The OnePlus Nord CE6 has no local warranty, so we let you check every unit before you pay. Customers across Nairobi tell us they want long battery life and fast charging without paying upper-midrange prices, and this model answers that at KSh 51,000. It sits between the OnePlus Nord CE5 and the OnePlus Nord 6 on our shelves, so you can compare all three in one visit. Walk in to test the OnePlus Nord CE6, or order it on pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Common Questions About the OnePlus Nord CE6
How much is the OnePlus Nord CE6 256GB in Kenya?
The OnePlus Nord CE6 256GB with 8GB RAM costs KSh 51,000, brand new and sealed, at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. The charging adapter is not in the box, and compatible SUPERVOOC chargers are sold separately at our store. You can pay on arrival when it is delivered anywhere in Kenya, so you check the unit before money changes hands. The OnePlus Nord CE5 sits KSh 9,500 lower, and the OnePlus Nord 6 sits KSh 12,800 higher.
Should I buy the OnePlus Nord CE6 or the OnePlus Nord CE5?
Choose the OnePlus Nord CE6 if battery life, screen smoothness and water protection matter most to you. Against the OnePlus Nord CE5, it brings a larger battery, a faster-refreshing screen and the added IP69K rating, along with a Snapdragon chip in place of the MediaTek one and Android 16. The OnePlus Nord CE5 makes sense if you want to save KSh 9,500 and your day rarely drains a phone. If you want a step further up the range, compare the OnePlus Nord 6 at KSh 63,800 in our Kimathi Street store.
Does the OnePlus Nord CE6 work on Safaricom 5G?
Yes, the OnePlus Nord CE6 supports 5G band n78, which Safaricom uses for its 5G network, in both standalone and non-standalone modes. Where 5G is not available, it falls back to 4G LTE across a wide set of bands, so calls and data keep working outside the big towns. It also runs Airtel Kenya and Telkom lines. With two nano-SIM slots, you can keep a Safaricom line for M-Pesa and a second line for cheaper data bundles, both active at once.
How long does the OnePlus Nord CE6 battery last during KPLC power cuts?
The OnePlus Nord CE6 has an 8000mAh battery, so most users finish a full day of heavy use with charge left. Lighter users can often stretch it further. During a KPLC outage, the phone can also share power: 27W wired reverse charging lets you top up another phone or earbuds over a cable. When power returns, 80W SUPERVOOC charging refills it quickly with a compatible OnePlus adapter, which is sold separately at Mascom International.
Can the OnePlus Nord CE6 handle rain, dust and drops?
The OnePlus Nord CE6 carries both IP68 and IP69K ratings, so it is dust-tight and protected against water. IP68 covers submersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, while IP69K covers high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. It is also MIL-STD-810H compliant, meaning it passed a military durability test standard for shocks and drops. That is not a promise it will survive every fall, so a case and screen protector still make sense for daily commuting and site work.
Can the OnePlus Nord CE6 run Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG Mobile?
Yes, the OnePlus Nord CE6 runs Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile and similar games comfortably at balanced graphics settings. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and Adreno 810 graphics handle the load, and 8GB of RAM keeps the game open while you reply on WhatsApp. The 144Hz screen makes motion look smoother in games that support high frame rates, and stereo speakers help you hear footsteps. Serious players chasing the highest settings for hours should look at phones with a faster chip.
Is it safe to buy the OnePlus Nord CE6 without a local warranty in Kenya?
The OnePlus Nord CE6 is safe to buy when you check it properly, but it has no local warranty because OnePlus has no official service network in Kenya. Mascom International sells it brand new and sealed, and you can inspect and test the unit at our store or on pay-on-arrival delivery before paying. If a local service centre matters to you, a brand with official Kenyan support is the better fit.
Who should buy the OnePlus Nord CE6, and who should skip it?
The OnePlus Nord CE6 suits students, sales staff, field workers and gamers who need a phone that outlasts a long day and shrugs off rain and dust. Skip it if you pay by tapping your phone at shop terminals, since it has no NFC chip. Skip it too if you use wired earphones, because there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Buyers who want local warranty support should choose a brand with an official service network in Kenya, such as Samsung.

- Optical image stabilisation (OIS) — the lens moves to cancel hand shake, so photos and video stay steadier.

- 32MP selfie camera with 4K recording — clear video calls and detailed selfie videos for social media.
- Colour spectrum sensor and LED flash — the extra sensor reads the light around you for more accurate skin tones.

- 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging — refills the battery fast with a compatible OnePlus SUPERVOOC adapter, sold separately.

- 27W wired reverse charging — use a cable to top up another phone or earbuds straight from this battery.
- USB Type-C 2.0 port — one standard cable handles charging and file transfers to a laptop.
Connectivity and Network Support
- 5G bands n1, n3, n5, n8, n28, n38, n40, n41, n48, n77 and n78 — n78 is the band Safaricom uses for 5G.
- 4G LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 19, 28, 38, 40, 41, 42 and 48 — wide 4G coverage for calls and data.
- Dual nano-SIM — run two lines at once, such as one for work and one for personal calls.
- Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LHDC 5 — faster home Wi-Fi and better wireless audio.
- Infrared port, no NFC and no 3.5mm jack — works as a TV remote, but offers no tap-to-pay or wired earphone socket.
Build and Durability
- IP68 rating — dust-tight and protected during submersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes.
- IP69K rating — tested against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, a tougher test than IP68 alone.
- MIL-STD-810H compliance — tested to a military durability standard for shocks and drops, though not a guarantee of toughness.
- 162.5 x 77.5 x 8.5 mm and 215 g — a large, solid phone that still slips into a trouser pocket.
- Under-display optical fingerprint reader and stereo speakers — quick unlocking with a touch, and fuller sound for video.
