Mascom International stocks the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger at KSh 5,500, a single-port USB-C wall charger rated up to 68W, with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box. It is brand new and sealed, in the dark Graphite finish shown in our photos. The charger supports USB Power Delivery, the open fast-charging standard used by most modern phones, tablets and many USB-C laptops, alongside Motorola's own TurboPower charging. It accepts 100-240V input, so it runs on Kenyan mains electricity. Test the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger with your own phone at our Old Mutual Building store on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Designed for Motorola phone owners, the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger solves a common problem. The Motorola Edge 70 and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion ship without a charger in the box, and an old, slow brick wastes the fast charging those phones offer. Field engineers, sales teams and logistics coordinators who move between Upper Hill and Industrial Area need quick top-ups between meetings. Students at JKUAT or Strathmore who share one socket in a hostel room benefit too, because one capable charger can serve a phone, a tablet and many USB-C laptops in turn.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell look-alike chargers with doubtful ratings, Mascom International sells the genuine Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger sealed in its retail packaging. Buyers throughout Kenya report that unbranded chargers run hot and slow down after a few weeks, and a weak charger before a KPLC power cut means less battery banked when the lights go out. Visit the store to plug in the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger and watch your phone's charging screen respond, or order on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery straight to your door.
Common Questions About the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger
How much is the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger in Kenya?
The Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger costs KSh 5,500 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, brand new and sealed in Graphite. The price includes the wall charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable, so you do not need to buy a separate lead. Delivery is pay-on-arrival across all 47 counties. This is international stock sold without a local warranty, which is why we encourage you to test it with your own phone at our Kimathi Street store before paying. Confirm today's stock on WhatsApp before you travel.
Does the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger come with a cable, and what connector does it use?
Yes, the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger comes with a detachable USB-C to USB-C cable, and the charger itself has one USB-C output port. It charges phones, tablets and laptops with a USB-C socket directly. Older phones with micro-USB and iPhones with a Lightning port need a separate USB-C cable made for that connector. There is no USB-A port, so old rectangular-ended cables will not fit. Because the cable detaches, you can replace a worn one later without replacing the whole charger.
Will the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger work with Kenyan sockets and power?
For power, yes: the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger accepts 100-240V at 50/60Hz, which covers Kenya's 240V mains supply. The plug needs a check, because Motorola sells this charger with different plugs for different regions, and Kenyan sockets take the three-pin Type G plug. Ask our team on WhatsApp which plug the unit in stock carries before you order. If your building suffers frequent spikes when KPLC power returns after an outage, plug the charger into a surge-protected extension.
Which Motorola phones does the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger suit?
The Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger is the natural partner for the Motorola Edge 70 and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, which Mascom International sells without a charger in the box. It also serves as a spare or office charger for the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, Motorola Moto G86 Power, Motorola ThinkPhone 25, Motorola Moto G56 5G and Motorola Moto G35 5G. Each phone draws only the power it is designed to accept, so a lower-rated model still charges safely at its own top speed. Check your phone's specifications for its rated charging speed.
Can the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger charge a laptop?
Yes, the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger can charge many laptops that take power over USB-C with USB Power Delivery, the same standard it uses for phones. Motorola's compatibility list includes MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models, though some laptops accept only part of the 68W. Laptops that expect more than 68W will charge slowly or only hold their level while you work. Older business laptops with a round barrel charging socket cannot use it at all. Bring your laptop to the store and we will test it with you.
Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger vs Samsung 45W Power Adapter: which should you buy?
Choose by phone brand. The Samsung 45W Power Adapter is built around Samsung's Super Fast Charging, so Galaxy phones reach their top charging speed with it. The Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger offers a higher top output and Motorola's TurboPower system, which Motorola phones recognise. For a Galaxy phone, buy Samsung's adapter. For a Motorola phone, or to cover a USB-C laptop as well, the TurboPower 68W fits better, because its extra headroom serves laptops that a 45W charger feeds more slowly.
Is the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger worth buying as a second charger?
Yes, the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger makes a sensible second charger if you split your day between home and an office in Westlands or Kilimani. Leaving one at your desk means you stop carrying a charger to work and back every day. Travellers heading to Mombasa or Kisumu can pack this one unit for a phone, a tablet and a USB-C laptop instead of three bricks. Its wide voltage range also suits trips outside Kenya, with a plug adapter where sockets differ.
Who should buy the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger, and who should skip it?
Buy the Motorola TurboPower 68W Charger if you own a Motorola Edge 70 or Motorola Edge 60 Fusion without a charger, or if you want one USB-C charger for a phone, tablet and light laptop. Skip it if your devices use micro-USB or Lightning and you do not want extra cables, or if you need two devices charging at once, since it has a single port. Galaxy owners are better served by Samsung's own adapter. Anyone who needs a local warranty should look for locally warrantied stock instead.
Technical Specifications
Core Function and Power Output
- Up to 68W peak output — enough to fast charge phones and to feed many USB-C tablets and laptops.
- USB Power Delivery support — the universal USB-C fast-charging standard, so non-Motorola phones and tablets also charge at good speeds.
- TurboPower charging — Motorola's own fast-charging system, which Motorola phones recognise and use automatically when plugged in.
- TurboPower output steps of 9V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3.4A and 11V/6.2A — your device picks the step it supports.
- Standard 5V/3A output — gentler charging for earbuds, smartwatches and older USB-C gadgets that do not support fast charging.
- Single USB-C port — one device at a time gets the charger's full attention and full output.
- Device-led power draw — every phone or laptop takes only the power it is designed to accept, nothing more.
Compatibility
- Motorola Edge 70 and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion — both ship without a charger, making this their natural companion.
- Other Motorola phones on our shelves — a spare or office charger for the Motorola Moto G86 Power and Motorola Moto G35 5G.
- Other USB-C phones — Samsung, Tecno, Oppo, Xiaomi and others charge through USB Power Delivery at the rate each accepts.
- USB-C tablets — tablets that charge over USB-C, including iPad models with a USB-C port, use the same cable.
- USB-C laptops — many laptops that support USB Power Delivery charge from it, including MacBook Air models on Motorola's list.
- Lightning and micro-USB devices — need a separate cable from the USB-C port, since only a USB-C to USB-C cable is included.
Build and Design
- Graphite finish — a dark grey colour that suits a desk, bedside table or office drawer without standing out.
- Universal 100-240V, 50/60Hz input — runs on Kenya's 240V mains and on power supplies abroad, with a plug adapter where needed.
- Regional plug versions — Motorola makes this charger with different plugs, so confirm on WhatsApp which plug ships, since Kenyan sockets use Type G.
- Detachable cable — a worn or damaged cable can be replaced without throwing away the charger itself.
- Wall-plug design — the charger plugs straight into the socket, with no separate power cord to carry or lose.
- Factory condition — brand new and sealed in Motorola retail packaging, opened for the first time by you.
