Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load is now in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 47,000 and supplied brand new and sealed. The cabinet carries a Titanium Crystal Grey finish over an 11kg drum. Eight programmes run from Auto and Fast to Heavy, Jeans and Baby Care. The Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load adds iBubble washing, Fuzzy Logic load detection, a child safety lock and an overflow safety device. It stands 1025mm tall and weighs 39kg, solid enough to stay planted during a full spin. Come and inspect it at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Large households run into the same wall every weekend: the washer finishes one load while three more wait in the basket. Extended families, homes with house helps, and short-stay apartment hosts in Kilimani and Westlands all wash sheets and towels in volume. The Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load swallows a full bedding change in one go, cutting the number of cycles you run each week. Automatic load detection sets water and time, so nobody overfills the drum or wastes a full tank on a few shirts. Delayed start lets you programme a wash before leaving for the office.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya, Mascom International keeps the full Hisense top load ladder under one roof, from 8kg to 17kg. That lets you weigh the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load against the 9kg and 14kg models in a single visit. Our community of short-stay hosts consistently finds the 11kg drum the sweet spot between running cost and capacity. The Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load ships to every county on pay-on-arrival terms, and you inspect the machine at your door before any money changes hands.
Common Questions About the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load
Can the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load wash a double duvet?
Yes, the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load handles most single and double duvets in one cycle. Bulky bedding fills a drum by volume long before it reaches the weight limit, so the extra space matters. Use the Heavy programme for thick bedding, and leave the drum loosely packed so water circulates freely. For the thickest king-size duvets and heavy curtains washed together, the WT3K1423UB 14kg at Mascom International gives more room. Washing duvets at home also saves the dry-cleaning fees that bulky bedding usually attracts in Nairobi.
Is the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load worth KSh 6,200 more than the 9kg?
For a household of more than a few people, yes. The Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load costs KSh 47,000 against KSh 40,800 for the WT3K9022UB, a difference of KSh 6,200. Spread across one year of use, that equals about KSh 17 per day for two extra kilograms per cycle. Fewer cycles each week also save water and electricity, which steadily recovers part of the price gap. Households that currently run two loads back to back on Saturdays often find that the 11kg drum turns that into one.
Does the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load suit Airbnb and short-stay hosts?
Yes, the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load is well suited to hosts turning over apartments between guests. One cycle handles sheets, pillowcases and towels from a typical one-bedroom unit. The Favorite programme stores your preferred linen settings, so cleaners repeat the same wash each time. Delayed start lets the machine finish just before check-in, so fresh linen goes straight onto the beds. Hosts in Kilimani, Kileleshwa and Diani can order through Mascom International with pay-on-arrival delivery.
Will the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load fit up the stairs of a walk-up flat?
The Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load measures 610mm wide, 655mm deep and 1025mm high, and weighs 39kg. It passes through standard interior doorways and up typical stairwells in Ruaka, Kasarani and Rongai walk-ups. Confirm your floor level when ordering so delivery is planned properly. Before ordering, check the space under any wall cabinets, because the lid needs clearance above the 1025mm cabinet height to open fully. A clear path from the stairwell to the laundry spot also speeds up delivery.
Is the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load safe around toddlers?
Yes, the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load includes a child safety lock that blocks the control panel during a cycle. Curious children cannot change programmes or stop the wash midway by pressing buttons. The lid closes softly instead of slamming, which protects small hands. Teach older children that the drum is not a hiding place, and keep the lid closed when the machine sits idle. Those habits, combined with the lock, make the washer a safe fixture in a busy family kitchen.
What stops the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load from flooding the floor?
The Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load has an overflow safety device that stops water from rising past a safe level. That protection matters in Kenyan estates where water pressure surges when county supply returns after rationing. Fuzzy Logic load sensing also measures how much water each load needs, rather than filling to the top every time. Your tiles, wooden cabinets and the flat below stay dry, which avoids awkward conversations with downstairs neighbours and landlords.
Should you choose the WSRB143W 13.5kg twin tub instead of the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load?
Choose the WSRB143W 13.5kg twin tub if your supply is unreliable and you often fill machines by bucket. It costs KSh 37,500, which is KSh 9,500 less, and holds 2.5kg more. The Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load needs a working tap, but runs the whole cycle unattended. Families with steady water and limited spare time get more value from the fully automatic route. Twin tubs also demand more floor space, because their two tubs sit side by side. If your compound relies on a borehole with variable flow, test tap pressure before choosing.
Who should buy the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load, and who should skip it?
Buy the Hisense WT3K1123UB 11kg Top Load for an extended family, a short-stay rental or a home where bedding is washed weekly. Skip it if you live alone or as a couple, since the WT1D8021UT 8kg costs KSh 9,500 less and handles light loads easily. Small hostels and salons washing towels daily should look at the WT3T1723UT 17kg instead. Its larger drum keeps pace with commercial volumes that would wear out an 11kg machine sooner. Families washing bedding weekly and clothes daily are exactly who the 11kg model was built for.
Technical Specifications
Load Capacity and Cabinet Size
- 11kg dry load capacity takes a complete bedding change, towels included, in a single cycle.
- Cabinet measures 610mm wide by 655mm deep, so plan a floor space slightly larger than that.
- Height of 1025mm puts the controls at a comfortable reach without bending over the machine.
- Net weight of 39kg makes the washer stable during spin yet manageable for two delivery handlers.
- Top-opening layout keeps the floor in front clear, which helps in narrow corridors and laundry nooks.
- Titanium Crystal Grey finish masks water marks and dust better than white cabinets in busy kitchens.
Wash Programme Line-Up
- Eight programmes are available: Auto, Fast, Heavy, Jeans, Delicate, Baby Care, ECO and Favorite.
- Auto programme reads each load and sets the wash for you, ideal for helpers new to the machine.
- Fast programme refreshes lightly worn office clothes when you need them ready the same day.
- Heavy programme gives bedding, curtains and work overalls longer agitation for deep dirt removal.
- Baby Care programme gives infant clothing and cloth nappies their own dedicated, separate wash.
- ECO programme trims water and power on lightly soiled loads, reducing monthly utility costs.
- Favorite programme saves your preferred settings, so repeated linen washes take a single selection.
iBubble and Load Sensing
- iBubble technology dissolves detergent into fine foam, helping it penetrate thick bedding and towels.
- Fuzzy Logic load detection matches water level and cycle length to what is in the drum.
- Automatic adjustment stops half-loads from using a full drum of water, saving on county water bills.
- Better detergent dispersal reduces white powder streaks that often appear on dark school trousers.
- Jeans programme uses tuned agitation for heavy denim, limiting fading on darker washes.
- Rinse stage runs automatically after each wash, flushing out detergent that can stiffen towels and bedding.
Family Safety Features
- Child safety lock blocks the control panel mid-cycle, so toddlers cannot change or stop the wash.
- Overflow safety device prevents water rising beyond a safe level, protecting floors and lower flats.
- Soft-close lid lowers gently, avoiding slams that can catch small fingers at the rim.
- Glass lid lets children watch the wash from a distance without needing to lift it open.
- Fully enclosed motor and wiring sit behind the cabinet panels, away from curious hands.
- Locked controls also stop accidental programme changes when someone brushes past the panel while cleaning.
Scheduling and Controls
- Delayed start programmes a wash to begin later, matching off-peak hours or your return from work.
- Pause and Add support lets you open the lid during washing to drop in a forgotten towel.
- Front control panel groups every programme button in one place, keeping choices clear for first-time users.
- Single-touch programme selection keeps operation simple for every adult in the household.
- Automatic fill, wash, rinse and spin sequence means no one has to transfer clothes mid-way.
- Favorite memory recalls your most-used cycle, so cleaners and house helps repeat it without instructions.
Installation and Running Notes
- Standard tap connection through the inlet hose suits most Kenyan apartment and house plumbing.
- Drain hose empties into a floor waste or sink, avoiding costly plumbing alterations.
- Level flooring keeps the 11kg drum balanced during spin, reducing vibration and noise.
- A surge-protected socket is a wise addition in areas with frequent voltage fluctuations.
- Leaving the lid open after use lets the drum air out and stay fresh between washes.
- Sealed factory carton confirms the unit is brand new, with no previous installation or test runs at another home.
