Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector is available at Mascom International for KSh 4,500, brand new and sealed, in Green. Produced by Green Lion, this astronaut-shaped lamp throws a starry sky and soft nebula clouds across walls and ceilings. The Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector offers eight nebula effects, a remote control and an auto-off timer you can set for 1 or 2 hours. Come and switch it on in a darkened corner of our shop at the Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Designed for parents, teenagers and anyone who struggles to unwind at night, the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector replaces a harsh ceiling bulb with a calm, moving glow. Children who fear the dark settle faster when stars cover the ceiling, and the timer switches it off once they sleep. University students in hostels around Moi University and JKUAT use it to make a plain room feel like their own. Couples in Kileleshwa and Ruaka set it up for a relaxed movie evening, and it doubles as a birthday or Christmas gift that children actually use every night.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops sell unnamed star lamps that stop working within weeks, Mascom International offers the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector with a 6-month warranty and a real counter to return to. Buyers throughout Kenya report that a branded lamp with a remote feels far better value than a cheap market version. Parents shopping on Moi Avenue often stop by to see the effect before choosing a gift. Order the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector for pay-on-arrival delivery, or collect it from our store this week.
Common Questions About the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector
How much does the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector cost in Kenya?
The Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector costs KSh 4,500 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, brand new and sealed in Green. Your purchase includes the remote control in the box, a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects and pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties. Nairobi orders normally arrive the same day. Before paying, you are welcome to see the star effect yourself at our Kimathi Street store, where staff will run through the remote and timer.
What does the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector actually show?
The Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector casts a field of stars and colourful nebula clouds onto your ceiling and walls. You choose between eight nebula effects, so the room can shift from a calm single colour to a mix of shades. The projection spreads across the room rather than one small spot, which is why buyers use it to change the whole mood of a bedroom. A darker room shows the effect best, so close the curtains or switch off other lights.
Is the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector safe for a child's bedroom?
Yes, the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector is a low-light lamp made for bedrooms, nurseries and play areas. Its auto-off timer shuts it down after 1 or 2 hours, so it does not glow all night once your child falls asleep. Keep the cable tidy and the lamp on a shelf a toddler cannot pull down. Parents across Nairobi tell us the remote helps too, because they can change the effect or turn it off without waking the child.
Can I pay for the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector with M-Pesa and send it as a gift?
Yes, you can pay for the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector through M-Pesa when it arrives, or in cash at our Nairobi CBD counter. Pay-on-arrival delivery lets you send it straight to a niece in Kisumu or a friend in Nakuru, with payment made at the door. Pass the recipient's phone number to our team on WhatsApp so the rider can call ahead. It comes sealed in its Green Lion retail box, ready to wrap.
Should I buy the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector or the Green Lion Nova 2 Portable Projector?
Buy the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector for mood lighting, and the Green Lion Nova 2 Portable Projector to watch films or slides. The astronaut lamp shows only stars and nebula patterns; it cannot display video, photos or a laptop screen. The Nova 2 accepts 4K input from a streaming stick or laptop and shows real content on a big wall. At KSh 4,500 the astronaut lamp costs KSh 8,700 less than the Nova 2, which sells at KSh 13,200.
How long does the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector timer run?
The Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector timer switches the lamp off after either 1 hour or 2 hours, depending on which you select. One hour usually suits a young child who falls asleep quickly, while two hours fits teenagers and adults who read, study or relax before sleeping. The timer saves you getting out of bed to turn it off. It also stops the lamp running needlessly through the night, which matters when you want the lamp to last.
Who should buy the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector and who should skip it?
The Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector suits parents of young children, teenagers decorating their rooms, students in hostels and anyone shopping for a fun gift under KSh 5,000. Skip it if you need a reading lamp or bright room lighting, because its glow is soft and decorative. People who want to watch films on a wall should look at the Green Lion Nova 2 Portable Projector instead. Light sleepers who need total darkness may prefer the 1-hour timer.
What should I check before ordering the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector?
Check how you plan to power the Green Lion Astronaut Galaxy Night Light Projector, because the power method decides where it can sit. Our team will confirm the cable type and plug arrangement for the current stock on WhatsApp before you order. Also confirm the Green colour is still on the shelf, since popular gift colours sell quickly ahead of December. If you are buying for a child, ask staff to show the remote buttons so you can explain them at home.
Technical Specifications
Core Function and Effects
- Star and nebula projection — casts stars and colourful clouds across ceilings and walls, turning a plain bedroom into a calm night sky scene.
- Eight nebula effects — eight lighting patterns to switch between, so the room can feel restful one night and playful the next.
- 360-degree galaxy spread — the light fans out around the room instead of forming one small circle on a single wall.
- Soft decorative glow — designed for mood lighting at bedtime, not for reading, homework or lighting a whole room brightly.
- Works best in darkness — closed curtains or an unlit room make the stars and nebula colours far clearer on the ceiling.
Controls and Timer
- Remote control included — change effects and settings from bed, without walking across a dark room to reach the lamp.
- Auto-off timer of 1 or 2 hours — the lamp switches itself off after the time you set, so it never burns all night.
- One hour for young children — enough time for a toddler to fall asleep under the stars before the room goes dark.
- Two hours for older users — suits teenagers, students and adults who relax, chat or listen to music before sleeping.
- Quiet bedtime routine — parents can adjust or stop the lamp with the remote without opening the door wide or waking the child.
Build and Design
- Astronaut figure — a spaceman-shaped body that looks like a toy or décor piece even when the lamp is switched off.
- Green finish — a cheerful colour that suits children's rooms and stands out on a shelf, bedside table or study desk.
- Compact size — small enough to sit on a nightstand or bookshelf in a hostel room or a tight Nairobi apartment.
- Gift appeal — the figure design and sealed box make it a ready present for birthdays, Christmas and school-closing celebrations.
- Dust care — Kenyan dust dulls the projected stars, so wipe the projection window gently with a dry, soft cloth each week.
