Mascom International stocks the iPad mini 7th Gen 256GB Wi-Fi Only at KSh 106,000, brand new and sealed. Inside is Apple's A17 Pro chip, behind an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, with 256GB of storage for anyone who keeps large libraries on the device itself. The iPad mini 7th Gen weighs 293 grams and is 6.3 mm thick, so a sizeable game collection or a season of downloaded shows travels in a small bag. Our showroom sits on the first floor of Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, in Nairobi CBD, where you can see the iPad mini 7th Gen running before paying.
Built for content creators, mobile gamers and frequent travellers across Kenya, the iPad mini 7th Gen 256GB Wi-Fi Only gives files room to grow. A creator filming 4K clips for TikTok or YouTube fills 128GB quickly once raw footage and edits pile up. Gamers face the same squeeze, since big titles take many gigabytes each. With 256GB, you keep projects, games and offline films side by side without deleting one to install another. Travellers flying out of JKIA load a full playlist of films over home Wi-Fi before leaving, then watch offline on the plane.
Where a quick sale often pushes buyers toward the cheapest tier, Mascom International helps you size storage to how you actually use a tablet, and this is the version we suggest for heavy media use near Wi-Fi. At KSh 106,000, it matches the 128GB Wi-Fi Plus Cellular, so the choice comes down to space versus mobile data. Customers across Nairobi tell us they rarely regret the extra room once their gallery fills. Come and compare both at our store, or order the iPad mini 7th Gen on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery.
Common Questions About the iPad mini 7th Gen
How much does the iPad mini 7th Gen 256GB Wi-Fi Only cost in Kenya?
The iPad mini 7th Gen 256GB Wi-Fi Only costs KSh 106,000 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, brand new and sealed. You get the tablet, a 20W USB-C adapter, a USB-C cable and the 12-month Apple warranty, with pay-on-arrival delivery nationwide. It sits KSh 23,000 above the 128GB Wi-Fi Only at KSh 83,000. The 128GB Wi-Fi Plus Cellular carries the same KSh 106,000 price, trading storage for built-in mobile data.
Is 256GB worth KSh 23,000 more than 128GB on the iPad mini 7th Gen?
The extra 128GB on the iPad mini 7th Gen 256GB Wi-Fi Only is worth KSh 23,000 for creators and gamers, but rarely for readers. The upgrade works out to about KSh 180 per added gigabyte. That space holds roughly 12 more hours of 4K video at Apple's defaults, or several more large games. Readers who keep files in the cloud seldom fill 128GB. Anyone editing video, storing music for DJ sets or keeping offline courses should take the 256GB, because storage cannot be upgraded later.
Can I use KRA iTax, eCitizen and banking apps on the iPad mini 7th Gen?
The iPad mini 7th Gen runs KRA iTax and eCitizen in its Safari browser, and most Kenyan banking apps install from the App Store. The 8.3-inch screen shows long tax and licence forms more clearly than a phone, which cuts typing mistakes. Some banking and M-Pesa apps are built for phones and open in a phone-sized window on iPad. Touch ID in the top button speeds up logins. On this Wi-Fi Only model, you need home Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot to submit returns.
Who should buy the iPad mini 7th Gen 256GB Wi-Fi Only, and who should look elsewhere?
The iPad mini 7th Gen 256GB Wi-Fi Only is right for buyers who store a lot and stay near Wi-Fi: video creators, mobile gamers, musicians and parents loading shows for children. It is wrong for anyone who needs internet on the road without a phone hotspot, and the 128GB Wi-Fi Plus Cellular at the same price fits them better. Light readers can save KSh 23,000 with the 128GB Wi-Fi Only. People who want a bigger canvas for drawing should consider an iPad Air instead.
Is the iPad mini 7th Gen good for gaming?
The iPad mini 7th Gen handles demanding mobile games well, since the A17 Pro chip's 5-core GPU supports hardware ray tracing for realistic lighting in supported titles. Call of Duty: Mobile, PUBG Mobile and Genshin Impact all run on it. Landscape stereo speakers give proper left and right sound, and Bluetooth 5.3 pairs PlayStation and Xbox controllers. The 8.3-inch size is easy to hold through long sessions. With 256GB, several large games fit together without constant deleting.
Is the iPad mini 7th Gen good for content creators shooting 4K video?
The iPad mini 7th Gen records 4K video at up to 60 frames per second on its 12MP rear camera, with cinematic stabilization for steadier handheld shots. For creators, the bigger value is editing: LumaFusion, CapCut and iMovie run well on the A17 Pro, and the screen shows a timeline clearly. At Apple's default settings, 256GB holds roughly 25 hours of 4K footage. Creators in Kilimani and Westlands use it as a portable edit station between shoots, then upload over studio Wi-Fi.
Can the iPad mini 7th Gen connect to an external monitor or projector?
Yes, the USB-C port on the iPad mini 7th Gen supports DisplayPort output to one external display at up to 4K and 60Hz. A USB-C to HDMI adapter links it to a TV, monitor or projector for slides, films or games on a big screen. The port also moves data at up to 10Gb/s, so external SSDs transfer large video projects quickly. Teachers, pastors and corporate trainers use this for presentations in halls without carrying a laptop.
Is the iPad mini 7th Gen good for digital artists and illustrators?
The iPad mini 7th Gen suits sketching and illustration, supporting Apple Pencil Pro with squeeze, barrel roll and hover. Procreate and Adobe Fresco run smoothly on the A17 Pro, and the laminated screen keeps lines close to the nib. The 8.3-inch canvas is small for detailed poster work, so treat it as a sketchbook rather than a studio. With 256GB, large layered files and brush libraries fit easily. Many illustrators pair it with a larger screen for final artwork.

Camera
- 12MP wide rear camera with f/1.8 aperture — good light gathering for B-roll, product shots and thumbnails.
- 4K at 24, 25, 30 or 60 fps — 24 fps gives a film look, while 60 fps keeps fast action smooth.
- Cinematic stabilization in 4K, 1080p and 720p — steadier handheld shots while you walk and film.
