Grab-and-go organisation for students who want their charger, mouse and computer travelling together.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag in Gray, built for laptops with 13.3 to 13.9-inch screens, is available at Mascom International for KSh 2,200, brand new and sealed. The UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag protects the laptop with three layers: an Oxford polyester outer shell, a dense PE foam core and a soft velvet lining. Pockets hold a charger or a portable mouse, and a sturdy handle lets you carry it on its own. Come and handle one at our shop in the Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Designed for university students, freelance designers and junior consultants, the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag handles the short daily trip from hostel to library, or from home to a co-working desk in Kilimani. Many compact laptop owners carry a separate pouch for the charger and mouse, and one of the two usually gets left behind. The UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag puts the laptop and its accessories in one padded case with a handle. During KPLC power cuts, having the charger in the same case means you can plug in at the next café with power.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops sell either a thin sleeve or a full backpack, Mascom International stocks the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag as the middle option. Customers across Nairobi tell us the pockets are the reason they choose it over a sleeve. At KSh 2,200, the 13-inch UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag costs KSh 200 more than the UGREEN LP187 Laptop Sleeve Case and KSh 200 less than the 14-inch UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag. Common Questions About the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag
How much is the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag 13-inch in Kenya?
The UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag 13-inch costs KSh 2,200 at Mascom International on Kimathi Street, Nairobi, brand new and sealed. That price includes a 6-month warranty on manufacturing defects and pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties. The 14-inch UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag costs KSh 2,400, a KSh 200 step up. The UGREEN LP187 Laptop Sleeve Case for 13 to 13.9-inch laptops costs KSh 2,000, but it has no handle or accessory pockets.
Which laptops fit the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag 13.3 to 13.9-inch size?
The UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag 13-inch fits laptops with screens between 13.3 and 13.9 inches, the range of most compact ultrabooks. That covers machines in the class of the MacBook Air 13-inch, the HP EliteBook 830 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X13. A laptop with a true 13.0-inch screen falls just below that range and may sit loosely. Send your laptop model to our team on WhatsApp, or bring it to our Nairobi CBD shop, and we will test the fit first.
Should I pay KSh 200 more for the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag instead of the UGREEN LP187 Laptop Sleeve Case?
Pay the extra KSh 200 for the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag if you want to carry the laptop and its charger without a second bag. The LP437 adds a sturdy handle, pockets for a charger or mouse, and three protective layers including PE foam. The UGREEN LP187 Laptop Sleeve Case, at KSh 2,000, is slimmer, has a PU leather finish and a splash-resistant coating, and is meant to ride inside a backpack. Pick by how you travel.
What is the difference between the 13-inch and 14-inch UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag?
The 13-inch UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag fits 13.3 to 13.9-inch laptops and costs KSh 2,200, while the 14-inch version fits 14 to 14.9-inch laptops and costs KSh 2,400. Both use the same three-layer build, pockets and handle in gray. The KSh 200 gap reflects the larger body only. Buying the bigger size for a 13.3-inch laptop leaves room for it to slide, which weakens the padding's protection, so match the bag to your exact screen size.
Can the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag carry a charger and power bank for KPLC outages?
The UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag has pockets designed for accessories such as a charger or a portable mouse, so your power supply stays with the laptop. During a KPLC outage, that means you can head to a café or campus building with backup power and plug straight in. UGREEN does not list pocket sizes, so a large power bank may not fit beside a charger. Bring your accessories to our Kimathi Street shop and pack the bag before you buy.
Is the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag good for university students in Kenya?
The UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag 13-inch suits students who carry a compact laptop, charger and mouse between lectures and the library. At KSh 2,200, it costs far less than a replacement screen after a fall in a crowded corridor. Students at Kenyatta University, Moi and Strathmore can carry it by its handle between buildings or slip it into a larger backpack for the matatu ride home. Its gray fabric also hides campus dust well between washes.
Who should buy the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag 13-inch, and who should skip it?
Buy the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag 13-inch if you own a 13.3 to 13.9-inch laptop and want one padded case for the machine and its accessories. Skip it if your laptop rides inside a backpack every day and you prefer the thinnest layer; the UGREEN LP187 Laptop Sleeve Case suits that better. Skip it too if you carry books, a lunch box and a water bottle as well, because the UGREEN LP664 B02 Laptop Backpack 15.6-inch, at KSh 3,800, holds far more.
How do I stop lint and stains building up on the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag?
UGREEN designed the UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag with a velvet lining that limits lint and an outer fabric that resists stains from spilled liquids. To keep it fresh, blot spills quickly with a dry cloth rather than rubbing them in. Wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth when it collects road dust, and let it dry fully before packing. Empty the pockets now and then, since crumbs and grit can find their way to the laptop.
Technical Specifications
Core Function
- Laptop case with handle — carries a 13.3 to 13.9-inch laptop by itself, so you do not need a backpack for short trips.
- Accessory pockets — room for a charger or a portable mouse, keeping the essentials with the laptop instead of scattered across other bags.
- Organised internal compartments — separate spaces stop the charger brick from pressing against the laptop lid while you walk.
- Impact padding — the foam layer reduces dents and marks from accidental knocks against doorframes, desks and car seats.
- Lightweight design — light enough to carry by hand all day without strain, according to UGREEN's product description.
Compatibility
- Screen sizes from 13.3 to 13.9 inches — covers the 13.3-inch, 13.5-inch and 13.6-inch compact laptops common in Kenyan offices and campuses.
- Ultrabook and compact business models — laptops in the class of the MacBook Air 13-inch, HP EliteBook 830 and ThinkPad X13 suit this size.
- True 13.0-inch laptops — these sit below the stated range and may move inside, so ask our team before you order.
- 14-inch laptops do not fit — they need the 14-inch UGREEN LP437 Laptop Storage Bag, priced at KSh 2,400 at Mascom International.
- Accessory fit — standard laptop chargers and compact wireless mice suit the pockets; bulky high-capacity power banks may not.
Build
- Oxford polyester outer layer — a tightly woven, hard-wearing fabric that resists stains from spilled tea, juice and water.
- Dense PE foam middle layer — PE means polyethylene, a light shock-absorbing foam that cushions the laptop against bumps.
- Velvet inner lining — a soft surface that protects the lid and screen from fine scratches and limits lint buildup.
- Three-layer construction — the shell, foam and lining work together, so a knock is absorbed before it reaches the laptop.
- Gray colour — a neutral shade that hides dust from Nairobi streets and campus paths better than black or light colours.
