Condition: Used
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, used and in clean condition, is available at Mascom International for KSh 52,000 with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. It pairs a 6.8-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 108MP main camera. Each Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra we sell is a carefully maintained international import. It carries the built-in S Pen, a 10x periscope zoom lens and a 5000mAh battery. You can see and test it at our store in Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Built for lawyers, estate agents, journalists and sales teams across Kenya, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra suits people who sign, mark up and shoot on the move. The S Pen lets you annotate a PDF contract or sketch a site plan without hunting for a laptop. The 3x and 10x zoom lenses capture a speaker at a Kilimani conference or a signboard across the street from your seat. Many buyers want this toolset but cannot justify the price of a newer Ultra. This used Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra delivers the stylus, the long zoom and the large screen at a fraction of that cost.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell grey imports with no paperwork, Mascom International inspects every Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra before it reaches the shelf. Each unit carries a 6-month warranty. Customers across Nairobi tell us the S Pen alone keeps them loyal to the Ultra line after years of use. At KSh 52,000, it sits KSh 5,000 below our 256GB unit, so you choose storage without changing models. Walk into our Kimathi Street store to test the screen, cameras and stylus, or order on WhatsApp and pay when the phone reaches your door.
Common Questions About the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
How much is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 128GB in Kenya?
The used Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 128GB costs KSh 52,000 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. That price covers a carefully maintained international import with 8GB of RAM, the S Pen and a 6-month Mascom International warranty. Samsung does not include a charger, so compatible fast chargers are sold separately in store. Delivery is pay-on-arrival across all 47 counties. If you need more space, the 256GB Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra costs KSh 57,000, which is KSh 5,000 more.
Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra or the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus at the same price?
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra wins on the S Pen and 10x zoom, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus wins on chip and weight. Both cost KSh 52,000 at Mascom International, but the used S23 Plus carries 256GB against 128GB here. The S22 Ultra adds a larger 6.8-inch QHD+ screen and a 108MP main camera. The S23 Plus runs a newer Snapdragon chip that stays cooler and lasts longer per charge. Writers and zoom shooters suit the Ultra; buyers who want storage suit the Plus.
Does the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra work on Safaricom 5G and Airtel Kenya?
Yes, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra works on Safaricom, Airtel Kenya and Telkom, with 5G wherever Safaricom has switched it on. International units cover a wide spread of 4G and 5G bands, so calls, data and M-Pesa run normally on any Kenyan SIM. Safaricom 5G now reaches parts of Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and Eldoret. Elsewhere the phone falls back to 4G with no setting change. USA-market units use different 5G bands, so confirm the unit's region on WhatsApp if 5G matters to you.
Is this Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra used or refurbished, and what is the difference?
This Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is used: a carefully maintained international import that was never deployed locally in Kenya. A used phone has been owned before and keeps all its original parts. A refurbished phone has been repaired or had parts replaced, then certified by a manufacturer or workshop. Mascom International sells this unit as used and tests it before sale. Battery health and minor cosmetic marks vary between units, so ask on WhatsApp for photos and the battery reading of the exact phone you want.
Who should buy the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and who should skip it?
Buy the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra if you want a stylus, a long zoom and a big screen for under KSh 55,000. It suits doctors writing quick notes, estate agents shooting listings and students at Strathmore or USIU marking up lecture slides. Skip it if you want a compact phone: at 228 grams it feels heavy for one-handed use on a matatu. Those buyers suit the Samsung Galaxy S24 at KSh 50,000, which is smaller and lighter. Buyers who want the longest software support should also look at newer models.
How long does the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra battery last?
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra carries a 5000mAh battery that covers a typical working day of calls, WhatsApp, maps and photos. Heavy use with 5G, gaming and the screen at 120Hz drains it faster, so many owners top up in the evening. It supports 45W wired charging with a compatible adapter, plus 15W wireless charging. Field engineers and NGO staff on long upcountry trips should pack a car charger or power bank. Battery health varies on used units, and we share the reading before you buy.
Can the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra handle Call of Duty Mobile and heavy apps?
Yes, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra runs Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile and editing apps like CapCut well at high settings. Its 4nm chip comes from Samsung's 2022 top tier and works with 8GB of RAM. Long gaming sessions warm the frame, especially on hot afternoons, and the phone may slow itself slightly to cool down. Playing without a thick case and away from direct sun helps. Mobile gamers who play for hours daily may prefer a newer chip, which runs cooler.
Is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra worth buying in Kenya in 2026?
Yes, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is still worth buying in Kenya for anyone who wants the S Pen and 10x zoom at KSh 52,000. Those two features cost far more on newer Ultra models. The 108MP main camera, 40MP selfie camera and 8K video remain strong tools for content creators and event photographers. The trade-off is age: it launched in February 2022, so software updates will end sooner than on newer phones. If the stylus matters to you, the value holds up well.

- 128GB internal storage on UFS 3.1 — fast flash storage that opens apps, saves large files and loads games quickly.

Battery and Charging
- 5000mAh battery — a full working day of calls, maps, messages and photos on one charge for most users.
- 45W wired fast charging (USB Power Delivery 3.0) — needs a compatible 45W Samsung adapter, which is sold separately.

- 4.5W reverse wireless charging — top up Galaxy Buds or a smartwatch by placing it on the back of the phone.
- Battery health varies on used units — ask for the exact reading of your chosen phone on WhatsApp before you commit.
Connectivity and Network Support
- 5G and 4G support on international units — works on Safaricom, Airtel Kenya and Telkom SIM cards for calls and data.
- Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax on the 6GHz band where available) — faster, steadier connections on newer home and office routers.
- Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC — pairs earbuds, car systems and smartwatches, and supports tap-to-pay where your bank offers it.
- USB Type-C 3.2 — quick file transfers to a laptop and Samsung DeX desktop mode on an external monitor.
- IP68 rating, water resistant to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes — resists dust, rain and accidental splashes during daily use.
