Riders Republic | PS5 Physical Disc | Standard Edition | Open World Extreme Sports | PEGI 12
Race bikes, skis, snowboards and wingsuits down American national parks against dozens of online rivals.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Riders Republic is in stock at Mascom International for KSh 4,250, brand new and sealed on a PS5 physical disc in its standard edition. Published by Ubisoft, Riders Republic drops you into one shared map built from US national parks such as Yosemite Valley and Zion. You choose between mountain bikes, skis, snowboards, wingsuits and rocket wings, then race, trick or explore at your own pace. On PS5, Riders Republic outputs 4K HDR at 60 frames per second. Pick up your copy at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for PS5 owners who want action sports without the cost of a ski trip abroad, Riders Republic packs races, trick contests and free riding into one open map. Mass start events put up to 64 players on the same course with PS Plus, so a Saturday session feels like a packed race day. Console gamers in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu use it to race friends across town without leaving home. Parents shopping for teenagers get a PEGI 12 rating, and students get a game that fits short sessions between lectures. Cross-play also lets PS5 owners join friends who ride on PC or an Xbox Series X.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell loose discs of unclear origin, Mascom International stocks sealed retail copies and backs each one for 6 months. Buyers throughout Kenya tell us a physical copy matters to them because they can lend, swap or resell it once they finish. A PlayStation Store download offers none of that freedom. Order Riders Republic by phone or WhatsApp, then pay with M-Pesa when the disc reaches your door anywhere in the country. Walk-in buyers can inspect the seal at the counter before paying.
Common Questions About the Riders Republic
How much is Riders Republic for PS5 in Kenya?
Riders Republic for PS5 costs KSh 4,250 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, brand new and sealed. That price gets you the standard edition disc in its retail case, covered for 6 months against manufacturing defects. Delivery is pay-on-arrival in all 47 counties, so you pay only after checking the seal yourself. The disc holds the full base game, while optional Republic Coins and add-on packs are sold separately on the PlayStation Store.
Does Riders Republic need an internet connection on PS5?
Riders Republic is built around a live online world, so plan on a steady internet connection every time you play. Sony lists solo play, yet events and career progress run through Ubisoft servers, and you link a free Ubisoft account on first launch. Online multiplayer, including 64-player mass starts, also needs an active PS Plus subscription. Seasonal content was still arriving in October 2026, and our staff can confirm current server status on WhatsApp before you order.
Riders Republic on PS5 vs PS4, which version should you buy?
The PS5 version is the stronger pick for anyone who owns the newer console. PS5 races hold up to 64 players online, while Ubisoft lists 20-plus players on PS4 and Xbox One. PS5 also outputs 4K HDR at 60 frames per second, upscaled from 1620p, and adds DualSense vibration and trigger effects. Choose the PS4 disc only if you still play on a PS4 with no upgrade planned. Everyone with a disc-drive PS5 gets bigger races and smoother riding from this copy.
Will the Riders Republic disc play on a digital PS5 or PlayStation 5 Pro?
The Riders Republic disc needs a console with a working disc drive. The original disc-model PS5 and the PlayStation 5 Slim disc model read it straight away. The PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition and PlayStation 5 Pro ship without a drive but accept the detachable PS5 Disc Drive. The original 2020 Digital Edition cannot take that drive, so its owners should buy the game from the PlayStation Store instead of this disc.
How does Riders Republic cope with Kenyan internet and power cuts?
A fibre line such as Safaricom Home Fibre, Zuku or Faiba keeps Riders Republic races stable, while phone hotspots can struggle in crowded 64-player events. Expect a large update download on first install, so start it overnight on an unlimited plan. Because progress sits on Ubisoft servers, a power cut costs you only the race in progress, not your career. Pairing the PS5 with a UPS from Mascom International gives you time to finish the event and shut down properly.
Is Riders Republic suitable for children?
Riders Republic carries a PEGI 12 rating, with content notes for language, violence and in-game purchases. The violence is mostly riders wiping out on bikes and boards, with no weapons or combat. Open voice and text chat with strangers is the bigger concern for younger players. PS5 parental controls let you switch off chat, cap daily play time and set a monthly spending limit, so a 12-year-old can play within limits a parent controls.
What sports and locations does Riders Republic include?
Riders Republic covers mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and wingsuit flying, plus rocket wing races. Bike events span downhill, enduro, slopestyle, freeride, gravel and cross-country. Snow events run across snowpark, urban and backcountry zones with freeride, alpine and X Cross races. The map joins Bryce Canyon, Sequoia Park, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain and Grand Teton with Yosemite and Zion. Team arena matches of 6 against 6 sit beside the solo career for players who prefer smaller lobbies.
Does Riders Republic support cross-play with PC and Xbox friends?
Yes, Riders Republic supports cross-play between PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Cross-progression also links through your Ubisoft account, so a career started on a PC carries over to your PS5 with achievements intact. For friends spread across different estates who own different machines, that means one shared session instead of three separate ones. Each player still needs the online subscription their own platform requires for multiplayer.
Who should buy Riders Republic, and who should skip it?
Buy Riders Republic if you own a disc-drive PS5, have a reliable home connection and enjoy racing real people. Skip it if your internet drops often or you want an offline story game, because the shared world depends on a live link. Players unsure about the online format can try the game through the PS Plus Extra catalogue first. Mascom International sells PS Plus subscriptions alongside its PS5 discs, so both routes are available from one counter.

PS5 Performance and Controller Features

- Frame rate: 60 frames per second on PS5, keeping fast downhill runs smooth and easier to steer.
- DualSense support: vibration and trigger effects let you feel landings and terrain changes through the controller.

Disc and Console Compatibility
- Format: PS5 game disc, which installs to console internal storage before your first race, so leave room free.
- Licence check: the disc must sit in the drive each time you launch the game, so keep it safe.
- Disc-model consoles: the original PS5 and the PlayStation 5 Slim disc model play it without extra hardware.
- Drive-free consoles: the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition and PlayStation 5 Pro need the detachable PS5 Disc Drive attached.
- 2020 Digital Edition: this model cannot attach a drive, so it cannot read this disc at all.
- Ownership: a physical disc can be lent, swapped or resold, which a PlayStation Store download cannot.
Age Rating and Content Guidance
- Rating: PEGI 12, printed on the cover, meaning the game suits players aged 12 and above.
- Content descriptors: language, violence and in-game purchases, as listed on the PlayStation Store page.
- Violence: mostly riders crashing off bikes and boards, with no weapons and no combat in any mode.
- Chat: online voice and text with strangers can be switched off through PS5 parental controls.
- Spending: Republic Coins are optional, and a monthly spending limit on the child account blocks surprise charges.
- Play time: daily limits set in PS5 family settings end sessions on schedule, which helps on school nights.
Package Contents
Riders Republic arrives as the game disc in its retail PS5 case, factory sealed so you can confirm nobody has opened or swapped it. The disc carries the standard edition base game. No console or controller is included, so you need your own disc-drive PS5 and a DualSense controller to play. Expect a game update download on first install. Keep the case after setup, because the disc stays your licence to launch the game.
