Take your gaming machine, controllers and cables to a friend's place, a gaming lounge or upcountry for the holidays in one tidy, protected load.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag in Black is available at Mascom International for KSh 5,900, brand new and sealed, made to carry a PlayStation 5 console together with its controllers and accessories. The Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag uses a polyester outer shell, a tough woven fabric that shrugs off scuffs and wipes clean easily. It replaces the old habit of moving a console in its original cardboard box or wrapped in a shopping bag. You can check the bag and test the fit with a console at our Old Mutual Building store on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for PlayStation owners across Kenya who move their console between homes, the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag solves a common worry. A PS5 costs a lot to replace, and carrying it loose on a matatu or a boda boda risks scratches, dust and knocks. This bag keeps the console, DualSense controllers, HDMI cable and power cable together, so nothing gets left behind. University students heading back to campus at Moi or Kenyatta University and families travelling to Nakuru or Kisumu for school holidays use the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag for exactly that trip.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops sell unbranded console bags with no warranty and no clear brand behind them, Mascom International stocks the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag sealed and covered by a written warranty. Customers across Nairobi tell us they want a bag that looks neat enough for an office commute through Upper Hill yet holds a full gaming setup. The black finish stays discreet, which many buyers prefer when carrying valuable electronics through busy streets. Walk in to see the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag in person, or order on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Common Questions About the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag
How much is the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag in Kenya?
The Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag costs KSh 5,900 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, brand new and sealed in Black. That price includes a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects and pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties. The bag is sold on its own, so the console, controllers and cables are not included. If you are buying a PS5 at the same time, we can pack the console straight into the bag for you before it leaves our Kimathi Street store.
Will my PlayStation 5 fit inside the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag?
The Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag is made to carry a PlayStation 5 console along with its accessories. Because the original PS5, the PlayStation 5 Slim and the PlayStation 5 Pro differ in size, the easiest step is to confirm your exact model with us before buying. Bring your console to our Nairobi CBD store and test the fit, or send us your model on WhatsApp. Our staff will check it against the bag before you pay, so there are no surprises.
How does the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag compare with a gaming backpack?
The Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag is a dedicated console carrier, while a gaming backpack mainly holds a laptop with a smaller space for gaming gear. Choose this handbag if the PS5 itself is what you move most often and you want the console, controllers and cables in one place. Choose a gaming backpack if you carry a laptop every day and only bring a console now and then. The handbag keeps a PS5 setup organised without the extra bulk of laptop padding.
Does the bag protect a PS5 from Kenyan dust and rain?
Polyester is a tough woven fabric that resists scuffs and sheds light splashes better than cotton or a paper box. That helps on dusty roads around Industrial Area and during sudden afternoon showers in Nairobi and Kisumu. It is not sold as waterproof, so keep the bag out of heavy rain and never leave it standing in water. Wiping the outside with a dry or slightly damp cloth keeps it clean between trips, and keeping dust out helps protect the console's fan.
Who should buy the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag, and who should skip it?
Buy it if you take your PlayStation 5 to friends, gaming lounges, holiday homes or a campus hostel more than a few times a year. It also suits parents who share one console between two homes. Skip it if your console never leaves the TV stand, since a dust cover would serve you better. Also skip it if you fly often with your PS5 and want a rigid hard-shell case, because a fabric bag gives less crush protection in checked luggage.
Can I carry controllers, games and cables in the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag?
Yes, the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag is designed to hold the PlayStation 5 console and its accessories in one load. That means your DualSense controllers, HDMI cable, power cable and a few game discs can travel with the console. Packing everything together saves the common problem of arriving somewhere and finding the power cable left at home. Ask our staff to show you how a full setup packs into the bag at our Nairobi CBD store.
Is the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag safe to carry on a matatu or boda boda?
The Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag keeps your console covered and gripped by hand, which is safer than holding a loose console or a worn cardboard box. On a matatu, keep it on your lap rather than in the boot or under seats. On a boda boda, hold it firmly between you and the rider, away from the exhaust side. The plain black exterior also draws less attention than a branded console box when you travel through crowded areas of the CBD.
How should I care for the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag?
Empty the Porodo PS5 Polyester Handbag after each trip and let it air out, especially in humid places such as Mombasa and Lamu. Brush off dust and wipe marks with a damp cloth instead of machine washing, which can weaken the fabric and its shape. Store it somewhere dry when not in use. Let a hot console cool for several minutes before packing it, since trapped heat inside any bag is bad for electronics.
