Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder | Dark Grey | 360-Degree Rotation | 10 to 17.3-inch Screen Support | 5kg Load Capacity
Raise your notebook toward eye level and keep your iPhone upright beside it on one compact carbon steel frame that packs flat for the commute.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder in Dark Grey is available at Mascom International for KSh 7,100, brand new and sealed, with a 360-degree rotating base and a magnetic phone mount built into one frame. The Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder takes laptops with screens from 10 to 17.3 inches and phones from 4 to 7 inches, and Porodo rates it to carry up to 5kg. The frame is carbon steel and the phone mount uses N52 magnets. You can see it on display at our Old Mutual Building store on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for remote workers, accountants, university students and sales teams across Kenya, this stand fixes two daily problems at once. A laptop flat on a desk pulls your neck down for hours, and a phone lying beside it gets missed when an M-Pesa confirmation or a client WhatsApp lands. The stand lifts the screen higher and holds your iPhone upright next to it, so calls, Teams meetings and banking alerts stay in view. In shared libraries at Strathmore or Kenyatta University, where desk space is tight, the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder gives two devices one footprint.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops sell a plain riser and a separate phone clip, Mascom International stocks the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder as one unit that folds down to slip into a laptop bag. Customers across Nairobi tell us they want a stand that moves between a home desk in Kilimani and a hot desk in Westlands without a second gadget to carry. The rotating base also lets you turn your screen toward a client across the table. Walk in to test the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder with your own laptop, or order on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Common Questions About the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder
How much is the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder in Kenya?
The Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder costs KSh 7,100 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, brand new and sealed. That price covers the Dark Grey stand with its built-in magnetic phone mount, a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, and pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties. Nothing else needs buying for an iPhone 12 or later, since those phones attach to the mount directly. Android users may want a magnetic ring or MagSafe-style case, which we also stock at the Kimathi Street store.
Will the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder fit my laptop?
The Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder supports laptops with screens from 10 to 17.3 inches. That range covers a 13-inch MacBook Air, a 14-inch HP EliteBook or Lenovo ThinkPad, and most 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch gaming laptops. Porodo rates the frame for up to 5kg, which is well above what nearly all laptops in that size range weigh. If you own an unusual or heavy mobile workstation, bring it to our Nairobi CBD store and test the fit before paying.
Does the MagSafe holder work with Samsung and other Android phones?
The magnetic mount holds any phone from 4 to 7 inches once it has a magnet behind it. iPhone 12 and every later iPhone snap on directly because MagSafe magnets are built into the phone. Samsung Galaxy, Tecno, Infinix, Redmi and Oppo phones need a thin magnetic ring stuck to the back or a MagSafe-compatible case. Both cost little and are sold at Mascom International, so you can leave the store in Nairobi CBD with a working setup for any brand.
How does the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder compare with Porodo's phone-only MagSafe stand?
This stand carries a laptop and a phone together, while Porodo's foldable rotatable MagSafe phone stand holds only a phone and extends in height. Pick the laptop version if you work at a desk for long hours and want your screen raised and your phone in view at the same time. Pick the phone-only stand if you mostly film content, watch video in bed or need a mount for video calls on the phone alone. The laptop version saves buying two separate accessories.
Does the stand help with laptop heat in Kenyan offices and homes?
Lifting a laptop off the desk opens space underneath for air to move, which helps machines that run warm on hot afternoons. That matters in Mombasa and Kisumu heat, and in Nairobi offices where fans and air conditioning stop during KPLC power cuts. The stand itself needs no power, no plug and no batteries, so it keeps working when the lights go out. The carbon steel frame also wipes clean easily after dusty days near Industrial Area or along busy roads.
Who should buy the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder, and who should skip it?
Buy it if you spend hours on a laptop and keep checking your phone for calls, M-Pesa alerts or WhatsApp orders. Freelancers, accountants, journalists and university students get the most out of it. Skip it if your laptop stays plugged into an external monitor all day, because a monitor arm or riser under the monitor serves you better. Also skip it if you never use your phone at your desk, since a simpler laptop riser without the phone mount would do the job.
How portable is the stand for people who work from different places?
The stand folds flat, so it slides into most laptop bags and backpacks next to the computer. That suits consultants and NGO field staff who move between client offices, coffee shops and home in one day. A matatu or boda boda ride is easier when the stand packs away instead of riding loose in your hands. Unfold it at the next desk, set the angle, and the 360-degree base lets you turn the whole setup toward whoever you are working with.
How stable is the Porodo Foldable Laptop Stand with MagSafe Holder while typing?
Porodo rates the stand for up to 5kg and fits it with an anti-slip base that grips the desk surface. The carbon steel frame resists flexing when you type, and the multi-angle joints hold the position you set. For long typing sessions, many users pair a raised laptop with a separate keyboard and mouse so their wrists stay level. You can try the stand with your own laptop at our Kimathi Street store before you commit to buying it.
