PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage | Haptic Feedback | Adaptive Triggers | Built-in Microphone | USB-C Charging
Army-style pattern made of tiny PlayStation shapes, sold sealed with Sony's official build for your console.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage is available at Mascom International for KSh 10,200, brand new and sealed, with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and a built-in microphone. Made by Sony, this edition wraps the standard DualSense hardware in an army-style grey camo shell. Look closely and the blotches turn out to be made of tiny PlayStation shapes: triangles, circles, crosses and squares. The PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage charges over USB-C and pairs with any PS5 through a single cable connection. You can pick one up at our shop on the first floor of Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, in Nairobi CBD.
Built for console gamers across Kenya who want a second pad that stands apart, the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage does every job the white controller in your PS5 box does. Many homes in Kilimani, Kasarani and Eldoret share one console between siblings, and the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage ends the argument over who plays next. The camo print also shows fingerprints and light grime far less than a white shell after weeks of EA Sports FC nights. Students sharing a hostel console at JKUAT or Kenyatta University tell us a distinct colour stops controllers getting mixed up.
Where many Nairobi stalls sell controllers with no warranty paperwork, Mascom International stocks sealed units with written cover and a physical store you can walk into. At KSh 10,200, the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage costs only KSh 300 more than the plain white DualSense or a Color Edition pad, so the pattern barely changes the bill. At Mascom International, we're seeing parents pick the camo as a gift because it looks special without limited-edition pricing. Visit the Kimathi Street shop to hold one, or order on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in Kenya.
Common Questions About the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage
How much is the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage in Kenya?
The PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage costs KSh 10,200 brand new and sealed at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. That price includes a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects and pay-on-arrival delivery to any of Kenya's 47 counties. It does not include a charging cable, because Sony packs only the controller and its documentation in the box. Most owners charge it with the USB-C cable that came with their PS5. You can pay in cash or by M-Pesa when the parcel reaches you.
Is the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage any different from the standard white DualSense?
Inside, the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage is the same controller as the white DualSense, so only the shell and the price change. Both carry haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, a microphone, a speaker and a 3.5mm headset jack. At Mascom International the white model and the Color Edition pads in Purple, Red, Blue and Black cost KSh 9,900, which is KSh 300 less. Pick the camo if you want a second pad that is easy to tell apart and hides daily wear. Pick white if it must match the console exactly.
Can I charge the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage during a KPLC power cut?
Yes, the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage charges from any USB-C source, including a power bank, a laptop or a phone charger. That matters during KPLC outages, when the console is off but you still want the pad topped up for later. Plug it into a power bank with a USB-C cable and the light bar pulses orange while it charges. Charging from the PS5 in rest mode works again once power returns. Skip cheap, unbranded street chargers, since poor-quality output can harm the battery over time.
Does the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage work on PC and phones?
Yes, Sony lists the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage as compatible with PC, Mac and mobile devices as well as the PS5. On Windows, Steam recognises it over Bluetooth or a USB-C cable, and haptics and adaptive triggers work in games that support them, often only when wired. Apple devices need iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5 or macOS 11.3 or later. Android phones pair through Bluetooth for cloud gaming and PS Remote Play. That makes it a handy pad for Call of Duty Mobile on a phone or tablet.
How long does the battery last on the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage?
Sony fits the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage with a built-in rechargeable battery but does not publish an official playtime. Runtime depends on how hard the haptics, trigger resistance and light bar are working. Buyers throughout Kenya report that games with heavy haptic effects drain it faster than football or racing titles. Lowering vibration intensity and trigger effect strength in the PS5 settings, and dimming the light bar, stretches each charge. Keeping a spare pad charged means nobody stops a match to plug in.
Who should buy the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage, and who should skip it?
The PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage suits PS5 owners who need a second or replacement pad and want something less plain than white. It also works well as a birthday or Christmas gift for a teenager, since it looks special without collector pricing. Skip it if you play mainly on an Xbox, where the Xbox Wireless Controller at KSh 8,000 fits better. Competitive players who want rear paddles and swappable stick modules should look at the DualSense Edge Controller at KSh 28,000, which Mascom International also stocks.
Is the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage at Mascom International genuine Sony stock?
Every PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage at Mascom International is an original Sony unit in factory-sealed packaging. Genuine units show the PlayStation shapes clearly inside the camo print, push back with adaptive trigger resistance in supported games, and accept firmware updates through the PS5 settings menu. If you prefer, we open the seal in front of you at the Kimathi Street shop so you can check the controller before paying. Buying from a walk-in store with a receipt also keeps your warranty claim simple.
Can I use a headset with the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage for online chat?
Yes, the PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage has a 3.5mm headset jack on its bottom edge and a built-in microphone with a mute button. Plug in any wired earphones and you can talk with friends during online matches. Party chat needs internet access and a PlayStation account. On Safaricom Home Fibre or an Airtel 5G router, voice chat runs alongside gameplay without noticeable lag for most players. The mute button glows orange when the mic is off, which helps in a busy household.
Technical Specifications
Core Function and Feel
- Haptic feedback — dual actuators replace old rumble motors, so you feel textures like gravel, rain or a tightening bowstring in supported games.
- Adaptive triggers — L2 and R2 push back with variable resistance, so drawing a bow or braking a car feels heavier under your finger.
- Built-in microphone array — talk to teammates without a headset; the dedicated mute button cuts the mic with one press.
- Built-in speaker — plays small sound effects from the controller itself, such as a radio crackle or a weapon reload.
- Six-axis motion sensing — a gyroscope and accelerometer let you aim or steer by tilting the pad in games that use motion.
- Create button — captures screenshots and video clips for sharing, taking over the role of the PS4 Share button.
Controls, Audio and Battery
- Touch pad — a clickable surface in the centre for swipes and menu shortcuts, framed by the light bar along its edges.
- Two analogue sticks and a D-pad — the familiar PlayStation layout, so habits built on a PS4 pad carry straight over.
- 3.5mm headset jack — wired earphones or a gaming headset plug in directly for game audio and voice chat.
- Built-in rechargeable battery — recharges inside the controller, so there are no AA batteries to keep buying.
- USB-C port — charges from the console, a laptop, a wall adapter or a power bank using one common cable type.
- Bluetooth wireless — the link to the PS5, Windows PCs, Macs and phones, with no dongle required.
Compatibility
- PS5 consoles — works with the original PS5, PlayStation 5 Slim and PlayStation 5 Pro, disc and digital versions alike.
- PS4 games on a PS4 console — not supported, so a PS4 owner still needs a DualShock 4 pad for that machine.
- Windows PC — Steam detects it over Bluetooth or USB-C; haptics and triggers depend on each game's support.
- Mac — pairs with macOS 11.3 or later for Apple Arcade titles and Steam games on a MacBook or iMac.
- iPhone, iPad and Apple TV — supported on iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5 and tvOS 14.5 or later through Bluetooth.
- PS Remote Play — streams your PS5 to a phone or laptop through the Remote Play app on a stable connection.
Build and Design
- Grey camouflage shell — army-style blotches in several shades of grey cover the front and grips of the controller.
- Micro pattern — the camo blotches are built from tiny PlayStation triangles, circles, crosses and squares, visible up close.
- Textured rear grips — a fine surface texture helps your palms hold on during long sessions in Nairobi's warm afternoons.
- Balanced weight — heavy enough to feel solid in the hand, light enough for a two-hour session without wrist strain.
- Light bar — glows around the touch pad to show player number and charging status at a glance.
- Glowing mute button — turns orange when the microphone is off, so you always know whether teammates can hear you.
Inclusions
- One DualSense wireless controller in Grey Camouflage, factory sealed in Sony retail packaging.
- Sony printed documentation, including safety information and the quick-start leaflet for pairing.
- No USB cable — standalone DualSense boxes leave it out, so you use the cable from your PS5 console.
- No charging dock — Sony's DualSense Charging Station is a separate purchase if you want desk charging.
- No batteries to add — the rechargeable cell is already fitted and usually arrives with some charge.
- Firmware updates arrive through the PS5 automatically, so new features need no extra software or accessories.
Package Contents
The PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage box holds two things: the controller itself and Sony's printed documentation, including the safety and quick-start leaflets. There is no USB cable in a standalone DualSense box, so plan to charge it with the USB-C cable from your PS5 console or another USB-C cable you already own. If you need a spare, Mascom International sells USB-C charging cables separately at the Kimathi Street shop. Every unit arrives factory sealed.
Warranty
The PS5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage comes with a 6-month warranty from Mascom International, covering manufacturing defects in the buttons, sticks, triggers and battery under normal use. To make a claim, bring the controller and your receipt to our Nairobi CBD service desk at Old Mutual Building on Kimathi Street.
