LEGO Marvel's Avengers is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 3,700 for the PS4 physical disc, brand new and sealed. Developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, LEGO Marvel's Avengers retells The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron in brick form, with over 200 playable characters and an open New York City hub. The PS4 version launched in Europe in January 2016 and runs on every PS4 model and on PS5 consoles with a disc drive. Pick up your copy at our shop in the Old Mutual Building on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Built for families, school-age children and casual players across Kenya, LEGO Marvel's Avengers suits homes where two people share one console. A parent and child can play the story together on the same screen, each holding a DUALSHOCK 4 controller. Many shooters and fighting games carry age ratings that shut younger players out. This title carries a PEGI 7 rating, flagged for fear and violence. Children in Kilimani or Kisumu get Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Captain America in a game built around puzzles and slapstick humour, not gore. It fits school holidays and rainy weekends indoors.
Where many Nairobi game sellers offer resealed or second-hand discs, Mascom International stocks LEGO Marvel's Avengers as factory-sealed retail copies and backs each one with a 6-month warranty. At KSh 3,700, LEGO Marvel's Avengers costs the same as LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, so the choice comes down to which story your household wants. Customers across Nairobi tell us the two-player mode keeps siblings playing long after the credits roll. Visit us Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or order on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties.
Common Questions About the LEGO Marvel's Avengers
How much is LEGO Marvel's Avengers for PS4 in Kenya?
LEGO Marvel's Avengers costs KSh 3,700 at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD, sold as a sealed PS4 physical disc. The price covers the game case and disc plus a 6-month Mascom International warranty against manufacturing defects, such as a disc that will not read or install. You can collect it at our Kimathi Street shop or order on WhatsApp and pay on arrival. Delivery within Nairobi and its environs is same day. Adding LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 at KSh 3,800 brings the pair to KSh 7,500.
Should I buy LEGO Marvel's Avengers or LEGO Marvel Super Heroes?
Choose LEGO Marvel's Avengers if your household loves the Avengers films, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for a wider comic-book cast. Both cost KSh 3,700 at Mascom International. LEGO Marvel's Avengers follows The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, using voice recordings from the films. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes tells an original story and includes X-Men and Fantastic Four characters, which LEGO Marvel's Avengers dropped. Several critics preferred the earlier game overall. Movie fans should take LEGO Marvel's Avengers; comic readers who want Wolverine will enjoy LEGO Marvel Super Heroes more.
Do I need fast internet to play LEGO Marvel's Avengers in Kenya?
No, the LEGO Marvel's Avengers disc carries the game, so you install it from the disc instead of downloading it over Safaricom or Airtel home internet. PlayStation lists the game for 1-2 players, and the second player joins on the same console in the same room. Your PS4 may still fetch a system or game update when it connects. During KPLC power cuts, a UPS keeps the console running long enough to finish a level and quit cleanly.
Will LEGO Marvel's Avengers play on a PS5?
Yes, PlayStation confirms LEGO Marvel's Avengers is playable on PS5 through backward compatibility. The disc needs a PS5 with a disc drive, either the standard model or a Digital Edition fitted with Sony's separate drive. Sony notes the PS5 may need its latest system software first, and some PS4 features may be missing when you play there. Buyers upgrading from a PS4 to a PS5 in Kenya can keep this disc and carry on playing the same game on the new console.
How many characters can you play in LEGO Marvel's Avengers?
LEGO Marvel's Avengers has over 200 playable characters, most of them carried over from LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. New faces include Ms. Marvel, Sam Wilson as Captain America, Jane Foster as Thor and four members of the Young Avengers. The Fantastic Four and X-Men characters from the earlier game are not part of this roster. Each hero brings a different skill, so swapping between Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow is how you open new paths and collect hidden bricks across each stage.
Which Marvel films does LEGO Marvel's Avengers cover?
The main story of LEGO Marvel's Avengers follows The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron from start to finish. Single bonus levels come from Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Between missions you roam New York City, and seven more areas open up: Asgard, Malibu, South Africa, the Helicarrier, the Bartons' farm, Washington, D.C. and Sokovia. Stan Lee voices himself, and the dialogue uses recordings from the films.
Is LEGO Marvel's Avengers suitable for young children?
LEGO Marvel's Avengers carries a PEGI 7 rating, with descriptors for fear and violence. The fights end with heroes and villains breaking into bricks rather than showing blood, and the jokes are slapstick. Younger children may need help with some puzzles, and the two-player mode lets a parent or older sibling join and guide them. Parents in Nairobi often buy it as a first superhero game because it avoids the mature content found in titles like Mortal Kombat 11.
Who should buy LEGO Marvel's Avengers, and who should skip it?
Buy LEGO Marvel's Avengers if you want a relaxed two-player game for children, families or Marvel film fans. It rewards exploring and collecting more than fast reflexes. Skip it if you want a tough single-player challenge or competitive online matches, since its puzzles are gentle and co-op stays on one console. Older players chasing a fighting game should look at Mortal Kombat 11 at KSh 3,800, while Marvel fans wanting a grown-up action story can choose Marvel's Avengers at KSh 4,000.
Technical Specifications
Core Function and Gameplay
- Genre: LEGO action-adventure mixing puzzles and combat, so you smash objects, build new ones and switch heroes to clear each stage.
- Story: the main plot follows The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, retelling both films with LEGO humour and set pieces.
- Bonus levels: single stages based on Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and The Winter Soldier.
- Hub world: an open New York City to roam between missions, filled with side quests, races and citizens to rescue.
- Extra hubs: Asgard, Malibu, South Africa, the Helicarrier, the Bartons' farm, Washington, D.C. and Sokovia, all new to the series.
- Voice audio: dialogue and music come from the films, plus Stan Lee voicing himself, so scenes sound like the movies.
Compatibility and System Support
- Platform: PlayStation 4, so the disc runs on the original PS4, the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro alike.
- PS5 support: playable through backward compatibility on a PS5 with a disc drive, though some PS4 features may be missing there.
- PS5 Digital Edition: reads this disc only once Sony's separate disc drive is attached to the console.
- Players: 1-2 on one console, so a second person joins in the same room with their own controller.
- Controller support: DUALSHOCK 4 vibration, so you feel hits, explosions and Hulk's smashes through the controller grips.
- Purchases: optional in-game purchases are listed by PlayStation, but the full story plays without spending beyond the disc.
Build and Disc Format
- Format: PS4 Blu-ray disc in a standard PlayStation game case, the same size as every other PS4 title on your shelf.

- Ownership: a physical disc can be lent to a cousin, swapped with a friend or resold later, unlike a download.
- Updates: the console may download a game patch when connected, while the core game itself comes from the disc.
- Release: developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive, launching on PS4 in Europe on 29 January 2016.
Inclusions and Content
- Roster: over 200 playable characters, most carried over from LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, each with skills that open new paths.
- Newcomers: Ms. Marvel, four Young Avengers, Jane Foster's Thor and Sam Wilson's Captain America, giving fans fresh heroes to unlock.
- Missing teams: Fantastic Four and X-Men characters do not appear, so fans of those teams should pick LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.
- Side content: hundreds of side quests and bonus levels, which keep the game going long after the main story ends.
- Downloadable extras: the season pass and character packs were sold separately as downloads and are not counted as disc content here.
- Age rating: PEGI 7 with descriptors for fear and violence, suitable for most primary school children with a parent nearby.
Package Contents
LEGO Marvel's Avengers comes as one sealed PS4 game case holding the game disc, exactly as it leaves the publisher. No console, controller or cables are included, so you need your own PS4, or a PS5 with a disc drive, and a DUALSHOCK 4 controller. A second controller is needed for two-player co-op, so ask our team on WhatsApp about controller options if you only have one. Check the seal at collection or delivery before you open the case.
