Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 3,800 for a brand new and sealed PS4 physical disc. Released in November 2017 and made by TT Games, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 follows the 2013 original with a time-travel story. Kang the Conqueror has fused pieces of history into one city called Chronopolis, and dozens of Marvel heroes and villains must put it right. The PlayStation listing supports one to four players, with new battle arenas for friendly competition. Collect your copy at our first-floor store in the Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD.
Designed for households where three or four people share one console, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 handles both co-operative play and quick head-to-head contests. Holidays at home often mean cousins arriving with nothing to do; here two can follow the story together while battle mode lets up to four compete. Families in Westlands and Kileleshwa, and students back from Strathmore or JKUAT, use it as an easy shared game that needs no online account setup. Playable heroes include Star-Lord, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel, each opening a different puzzle.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that sell grey-market or opened discs, Mascom International stocks LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 sealed, with a 6-month warranty on manufacturing faults. At Mascom International, we're seeing buyers pick LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 when they want more players and more variety than the first game offers. It costs only KSh 100 more than the 2013 original, yet doubles the number of players who can join in. Visit us on Kimathi Street to inspect the case, or send a WhatsApp message and pay on arrival when it reaches your door.
Common Questions About the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2
What is the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 PS4 price in Kenya?
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 sells for KSh 3,800 as a brand new, sealed PS4 disc at Mascom International, Nairobi CBD. The price includes the original retail case, our 6-month warranty on manufacturing defects, and pay-on-arrival delivery across Kenya. The first LEGO Marvel Super Heroes costs KSh 3,700, so the sequel is KSh 100 more. For KSh 4,000 the LEGO Marvel Collection adds the first game and LEGO Marvel's Avengers in one case.
How does LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 compare with LEGO Marvel's Avengers?
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 tells an original time-travel story, while LEGO Marvel's Avengers retells the first two Avengers films. LEGO Marvel's Avengers follows familiar movie scenes and suits children who know the films well. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 brings in Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and Kang, plus competitive battle arenas. LEGO Marvel's Avengers costs KSh 3,700 at Mascom International, KSh 100 less. Pick the sequel for variety and group play; pick Avengers for film fans.
Does LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 have a battle mode for four friends?
Yes, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 adds battle modes where friends and family compete in themed challenges and arenas, with up to four players listed by PlayStation. The main story is built around co-operative play, so the battles give larger groups something to do together. Each extra player needs their own DualShock 4 controller, and all players sit at the same console. Mascom International stocks extra controllers if your household owns only one.
Are there extra costs after buying LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 in Kenya?
No, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 plays its full story from the disc with no subscription and no Safaricom or Airtel Kenya data needed. PlayStation lists optional in-game purchases, so parents may want purchase limits on the child's PlayStation account. Paid add-ons are bought through the PlayStation Store, not on the disc. If you top up the PlayStation wallet using an M-Pesa-linked virtual card, remove the saved card afterwards so children cannot spend without asking. A KPLC power cut costs only the level in progress.
Which time periods can you visit in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2?
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 lets you explore Ancient Egypt, the Old West, the planet Sakaar and New York City in the year 2099. All of these areas join together inside Chronopolis, the open hub city Kang has built from stolen pieces of history. You can carry objects or characters from one era into another to solve puzzles. Each district has its own look, enemies and side missions, so the world feels varied from one area to the next.
Is LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 a good birthday gift for a child?
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 makes a safe gift for most school-age children, carrying a PG rating for mild violence. Combat ends with characters breaking into LEGO pieces, never with blood. Customers across Nairobi tell us children aged about seven and up handle the controls well, especially with a parent nearby. The sealed case looks good wrapped, and if the disc has a manufacturing fault our 6-month warranty covers it, so a birthday gift is never wasted.
Do I need to play LEGO Marvel Super Heroes before the sequel?
No, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 tells a self-contained story, so a new player can start here without the earlier game. The villain, the city and most missions are new, and the opening levels teach the controls from scratch. Players who enjoyed the 2013 original will spot returning heroes and running jokes, but nothing important is lost by skipping it. If you want both stories anyway, the LEGO Marvel Collection at KSh 4,000 includes them.
Who should buy LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 and who should skip it?
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 suits families with several children, Marvel fans and groups who want co-operative and competitive play on one PS4. Skip it if you want realistic graphics, a mature storyline or online play with friends in other towns. Marvel's Avengers at KSh 4,000 is the better fit for older players. Fans of the Star Wars films may prefer LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga at KSh 5,000, which covers all nine films.
Technical Specifications
Core Function and Gameplay
- Time-travel action-adventure — heroes chase Kang the Conqueror through a city built from pieces of past, present and future.
- Open hub city of Chronopolis — districts from different eras connect, so you can roam freely between story chapters.
- Move objects and characters across centuries — some puzzles only open when you bring something from one era into another.
- Competitive battle arenas — friends and family can fight each other in themed challenges after or between story levels.
- Character-based puzzle solving — each hero has a unique power, so swapping characters is how you clear blocked routes.
- Drop-in co-op in story levels — a second player can join or leave without restarting the current mission.
Compatibility and System Support
- Built for PlayStation 4 — runs on the original PS4, the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro with the disc in the tray.
- Playable on PS5 consoles that have a disc drive — PlayStation notes some PS4 features may be missing on PS5.
- A PS5 may need its latest system software update first — install it over Wi-Fi before inserting the disc.
- Supports one to four players on one console — each player needs a separate DualShock 4 controller.
- DualShock 4 vibration support — the controller rumbles with impacts and explosions, adding feel to each fight.
- Optional in-game purchases — parental controls on the PlayStation account can block spending by children.
Build and Disc Format
- Standard PS4 Blu-ray disc — holds the complete game, so the story plays without downloading it first.
- Sealed in original shrink-wrap — proof the disc has not been opened, scratched or installed by anyone else.
- First insertion copies game data to the console storage — later sessions load faster while the disc acts as the licence.
- Disc must stay in the tray during play — the PS4 checks it each time the game starts.
- Resale and lending possible — physical ownership lets you pass the game to a sibling or trade it once finished.
- Keep it in its case between sessions — this protects the disc from dust, heat and scratches that cause read errors.
Inclusions and Content
