Wolfenstein II The New Colossus | PS4 Physical Disc | Single-Player Campaign | First-Person Action Shooter
Lead an underground resistance across an occupied 1960s America in a story you can finish entirely offline.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Wolfenstein II The New Colossus is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 3,800 for a brand new and sealed PS4 physical disc. Developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda, it first launched on PlayStation 4 in 2017 as the sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order. You play BJ Blazkowicz, a resistance fighter returning to the United States in 1961 to take the country back from the regime that won the war. Buy Wolfenstein II The New Colossus at our store in the Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, or order it to your door.
Designed for players who want a strong story rather than an online grind, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus is a single-player game from start to finish. There is no multiplayer, no squad to organise, and no PlayStation Plus fee to keep it running. That matters for gamers in Kenya with patchy home internet or a limited data bundle: after the first update, the whole campaign plays offline. University students in Nairobi, working adults with an hour each evening, and anyone in Mombasa or Eldoret far from fast fibre can enjoy every mission without lag or matchmaking queues.
Unlike other electronics retailers in Kenya that mix pre-owned discs into their new stock, Mascom International sells Wolfenstein II The New Colossus in its factory shrink wrap with a written disc warranty. Buyers throughout Kenya report that older single-player classics are hard to find sealed, so a fresh copy at this price is good value. The disc works on every PS4 and on a PS5 fitted with a disc drive. Pay by M-Pesa on delivery, or visit the shop and check the case yourself before buying Wolfenstein II The New Colossus.
Common Questions About the Wolfenstein II The New Colossus
What is the Wolfenstein II The New Colossus PS4 price in Kenya?
Wolfenstein II The New Colossus sells for KSh 3,800 at Mascom International in Nairobi as a brand new and sealed PS4 disc. The price covers the full base game on disc, a 6-month warranty on the disc itself, and pay-on-arrival delivery to every county. You do not need a subscription to play, because the game has no online multiplayer. Story add-on episodes from the Deluxe Edition are not on this standard disc and must be bought separately.
Do I need internet or PlayStation Plus to play Wolfenstein II The New Colossus?
No, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus is a single-player campaign that runs offline, and PlayStation Plus is not required. Connect once to download the latest patch, then you can play without a connection. This makes it a sensible choice for homes on capped Safaricom or Airtel data bundles. Trophies sync to your PlayStation account the next time the console goes online. Online play on PlayStation needs PlayStation Plus, but this game simply has no online mode that would call for it.
Is Wolfenstein II The New Colossus the right game if my brief only says Wolfenstein?
This listing covers Wolfenstein II The New Colossus, the 2017 sequel, not the earlier Wolfenstein: The New Order or the spin-off Wolfenstein Youngblood. The New Colossus continues the story directly from The New Order, so you meet the same resistance crew and the same hero. You can start here without playing the first game, because the opening recaps the key events. If you want a different Wolfenstein title, message Mascom International on WhatsApp and ask what is on the shelf this week.
How does Wolfenstein II The New Colossus compare with DOOM 2016 on PS4?
Wolfenstein II The New Colossus and DOOM 2016 are both fast first-person shooters published by Bethesda, and both suit a tight budget. Wolfenstein II leans on story, with long cutscenes, recurring characters and stealth options in many levels. DOOM 2016 strips the story back to almost nothing and focuses on nonstop arena combat, plus an online multiplayer mode. Choose Wolfenstein II The New Colossus if you want a campaign that feels like an action film. Choose DOOM if you want pure speed and replayable combat.
Does Wolfenstein II The New Colossus play on PS5?
Yes, the Wolfenstein II The New Colossus PS4 disc plays on a PS5 with a disc drive through backward compatibility. Sony notes that some PS4 features may be absent when a PS4 game runs on PS5, though the campaign itself is the same. A PS5 Digital Edition will not read the disc unless you add Sony's separate disc drive. On PS4 Pro, the game has enhancements that improve image quality over a standard PS4, according to coverage at its launch.
How does Wolfenstein II The New Colossus cope with Kenyan power cuts and heat?
Wolfenstein II The New Colossus uses checkpoints and manual saves, so you can save before a long fight and lose little if KPLC cuts the power. Save often during the rainy season, when outages around Nairobi and Kisumu are more frequent. Disc games also spare you large repeat downloads after an interruption. Keep your PS4 in an open, ventilated spot during hot afternoons, because a cramped TV cabinet traps heat and makes the console fan work harder.
Who should buy Wolfenstein II The New Colossus and who should skip it?
Wolfenstein II The New Colossus is a good buy for adults who enjoy story-led shooters, players with unreliable internet, and anyone who games alone in the evenings. It carries an 18 rating for violence and strong language, so it is not a family game. Skip it if you mainly want to play with friends online every weekend. Group players will get more from a co-op title such as World War Z, which Mascom International also stocks as a PS4 disc.
Can I play Wolfenstein II The New Colossus quietly or stealthily?
Yes, many levels in Wolfenstein II The New Colossus let you choose between a quiet approach and an all-out firefight. You can sneak up on commanders, take them down silently and stop reinforcements from being called in. If you are spotted, the game switches to loud combat with heavy weapons and dual-wielding. Players across Nairobi tell us this choice keeps replays fresh. Difficulty settings range from forgiving to punishing, so newer players and veterans can both settle into a comfortable pace.
Technical Specifications
Core Function and Gameplay
- First-person action shooter — you see the world through BJ Blazkowicz's eyes, which puts you right inside each firefight.
- Single-player only — no lobby, no matchmaking and no need for other players to finish the campaign.
- Story set in 1961 America — the resistance moves through occupied cities while you rebuild a fighting force.
- Stealth or open combat in many levels — creep past guards silently, or go loud with heavy weapons when spotted.
- Dual-wielding of mixed weapons — hold a different gun in each hand to match close and longer-range threats.
- Several difficulty levels — from a relaxed setting for story fans to punishing modes for experienced shooter players.
Compatibility and Requirements
- Plays on every PS4 model, including PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro — the Pro was given image-quality enhancements.
- Works on a PS5 with a disc drive through backward compatibility — some PS4-only features may be missing there.
- No PlayStation Plus required — the game has no online mode, so you pay nothing beyond the disc.
- Remote Play supported — stream the game from your PS4 to another compatible device in the same home.
- Rated 18 for violence and language — meant for adult players, not children or younger teenagers.
- Uses DUALSHOCK 4 vibration on PS4 — you feel weapon recoil and explosions through the controller.
Build and Disc Format
- Blu-ray disc in a standard PS4 keep case — readable by any working PS4 or disc-equipped PS5.
- Sealed in factory shrink wrap — nobody has opened, installed or played this copy before you.
- The disc acts as your licence — keep it in the drive whenever you want to start the game.
- Installs from disc to console storage — loading then runs from the hard drive for smoother play.
- Physical ownership — lend it to a friend, trade it, or resell it later, which a digital copy does not allow.
Inclusions and Ownership
- One Wolfenstein II The New Colossus PS4 disc — the standard edition with the full base campaign.
- Deluxe Edition story add-ons not included — the three extra episodes are sold separately as downloads.
- No subscription needed — the campaign runs offline once the first patch is installed.
- Printed inserts and case language depend on the stock batch — the game on the disc is identical.
- Progress and trophies sit on your PlayStation account — your save stays on the console you play on.
