Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Tecno Spark 50 Pro is in stock at Mascom International, priced at KSh 26,700 for the 256GB storage and 4GB RAM version, brand new and sealed. It runs a MediaTek Helio G100 chip behind a 6.78-inch screen that refreshes at 120Hz, with a 50MP f/1.8 main camera on the back. The Tecno Spark 50 Pro charges at 60W and carries IP68 and IP69 protection. Our shop sits at Old Mutual Building, First Floor Room 4, Kimathi Street, in Nairobi CBD, where you can pick it up the same day or arrange delivery to your county.
Designed for content creators, estate agents and journalists who shoot all day, the Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB solves a common problem: the "storage full" warning in the middle of a job. Phones with 64GB or 128GB fill up fast with WhatsApp voice notes, TikTok clips and property walkthrough videos. With 256GB on board and a microSD slot as backup, you can keep months of client photos without deleting anything. The sealed body also copes with Mombasa humidity, Turkana dust and the long rainy seasons in Kisumu and Kakamega, so the phone keeps working where the job takes you.
Where most Nairobi electronics shops push the cheapest unit on the shelf, Mascom International helps you match storage to how you actually use a phone. Buyers throughout Kenya report that they regret choosing too little storage far more often than paying slightly extra for more. The Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB gives that headroom while keeping the same tough build as the 128GB model. Each unit comes sealed, with the charger in the box and a 12-month warranty. Visit our Kimathi Street store to hold the Tecno Spark 50 Pro yourself, or order on WhatsApp and pay only when it arrives.
Common Questions About the Tecno Spark 50 Pro
What is the Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB price in Kenya?
Mascom International sells the Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB with 4GB RAM for KSh 26,700, brand new and sealed, at our Nairobi CBD store. The price covers a 12-month warranty, the charger and cable in the box, and pay-on-arrival delivery across Kenya. It costs KSh 4,200 more than the 128GB version at KSh 22,500, with the same RAM, screen, camera and battery. That extra money buys double the space, which pays off if you film video often.
Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB or Infinix Hot 70 256GB with 6GB RAM: which should I buy?
The Infinix Hot 70 256GB 6GB costs KSh 26,800, just KSh 100 more than the Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB, and gives you 2GB of extra RAM. The Tecno Spark 50 Pro answers with IP68 and IP69 sealing, a 1.5-metre drop rating and 60W charging. Choose the Hot 70 if you keep many apps open at once. Choose the Spark 50 Pro if you work outdoors, ride a boda boda or simply drop phones. We can show you both side by side in store.
Is the Tecno Spark 50 Pro tough enough for Kenyan rain, dust and drops?
The Tecno Spark 50 Pro is rated IP68 and IP69, the highest common dust and water ratings, and Tecno says it survives drops up to 1.5 metres. IP68 covers dust and immersion in water, while IP69 adds resistance to strong, hot water jets. In daily Kenyan life, that means rain on a motorbike, dusty building sites in Kitengela and spilled tea on a desk. Water damage from misuse is still not a manufacturing fault, so use common sense near pools and the ocean.
Can the Tecno Spark 50 Pro run eFootball, PUBG Mobile or Call of Duty Mobile?
The Tecno Spark 50 Pro runs eFootball, PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile at lower graphics settings, using its Mali-G52 MC2 graphics chip. Casual titles like Subway Surfers, Candy Crush and Ludo play without trouble. The 120Hz screen makes menus and lighter games look fluid. Serious mobile gamers chasing high frame rates and full detail will want a phone with a stronger chip. Bypass charging helps during long sessions, because power flows straight to the phone instead of heating the battery.
How many photos and videos fit on the Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB?
Every 50GB on the Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB holds about 16,000 typical photos or roughly six hours of 1080p video. After Android and your apps take their share, you still have room for tens of thousands of pictures and many hours of footage. A microSDXC slot lets you add a memory card if you ever outgrow it. For estate agents filming house tours or teachers recording lessons, that space removes the daily habit of deleting files.
Which Android version does the Tecno Spark 50 Pro run?
The Tecno Spark 50 Pro ships with Android 16 and Tecno's HIOS 16 interface out of the box. A current Android version means the latest Google security features and full support for Kenyan banking apps, the M-Pesa app and eCitizen. HIOS adds Tecno's own themes, a game mode and handy shortcuts. You set the phone up with your Google account and restore WhatsApp chats from backup in a few minutes. Our staff at Mascom International can help with setup before you leave.
Is the Tecno Spark 50 Pro good for a small business owner using Lipa na M-Pesa?
Yes, the Tecno Spark 50 Pro suits small traders and shop owners who run payments, stock photos and customer chats from one phone. The M-Pesa app, M-Pesa for Business and WhatsApp Business run comfortably on its 4GB of RAM. The 50MP camera produces clean product shots for your catalogue, and 256GB keeps years of receipts and invoices. Its rugged build survives a busy counter, and fast charging recovers the battery quickly when KPLC power drops during trading hours.
Who is the Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB right for, and who should look elsewhere?
The Tecno Spark 50 Pro 256GB is right for creators, agents, traders and students who film a lot and need a phone that takes knocks. It suits buyers who want storage first and a tough body second, at KSh 26,700. Look elsewhere if you want 5G on Safaricom, a sharper screen or better night photos; the Infinix Note 60 Pro at KSh 47,500 serves that buyer. If you rarely store video, the 128GB version saves you KSh 4,200.
