Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra | 256GB Storage | 12GB RAM | 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X | 11600mAh Battery | Wi-Fi Only
A thin, roomy surface for drafting plans, reviewing contracts and editing footage on the move.
Condition: New
Note: price and availability are subject to change without prior notice
Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is available at Mascom International for KSh 148,000, brand new and sealed, in the 256GB storage and 12GB RAM Wi-Fi version. It pairs a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen running at 120Hz with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, an 11600mAh battery and an S Pen in the box. The aluminium body is only 5.1mm thin, weighs about 692g and carries IP68 water and dust protection. You can see the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra at our store in the Old Mutual Building on Kimathi Street, Nairobi CBD, before you pay.
Built for architects, lawyers, accountants and content creators across Kenya, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra solves a common problem. A laptop is heavy to carry all day, while a phone screen is too small for real work. This display is wide enough to read a full contract beside a spreadsheet, mark up a building plan with the S Pen, or trim a 4K clip on the matatu ride home. Samsung DeX turns it into a desktop-style workspace once you add a Bluetooth keyboard. University students at Strathmore and the University of Nairobi can keep lecture notes, slides and annotated PDFs in one place.
Where many Nairobi electronics shops cannot tell you where a tablet came from, Mascom International sells the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra sealed, with a 24-month warranty and a walk-in service desk. Against the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra at KSh 125,000, the extra KSh 23,000 buys a newer chip, a thinner and lighter body, and a bigger battery. Customers across Nairobi tell us the screen size is what wins them over once they hold it. Visit us to try the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in person, or order on WhatsApp for pay-on-arrival delivery anywhere in the country.
Common Questions About the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra
How much is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 256GB Wi-Fi in Kenya?
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 256GB Wi-Fi costs KSh 148,000, brand new and sealed, at Mascom International in Nairobi CBD. That price covers the 12GB RAM model, the S Pen in the box, a 24-month warranty and pay-on-arrival delivery to all 47 counties. A wall charger is not included, so budget for a 45W adapter if you do not already own one. If you want built-in mobile data, the 5G version of the same 256GB model costs KSh 160,000, a gap of KSh 12,000.
Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra or the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra?
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra costs KSh 23,000 more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and brings the newer Dimensity 9400+ chip. It is also thinner at 5.1mm against 5.4mm, lighter at about 692g against 718g, and holds 11600mAh against 11200mAh. Both share a 14.6-inch 120Hz screen, 12GB RAM and an S Pen. Choose the newer model if you edit video daily or carry it everywhere. Choose the older one if the big screen is all you really need.
Can the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra replace a laptop for office work?
For most office tasks, yes: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra runs Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Google Workspace apps on a 14.6-inch screen. Samsung DeX switches it to a desktop-style layout with a taskbar and overlapping windows, and a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse complete the setup. Accountants filing KRA returns on iTax and staff renewing documents on eCitizen can do both in the Chrome browser. It cannot run Windows-only software such as desktop Tally, so keep a laptop if your work depends on it.
How does the Wi-Fi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra get online away from the office?
The Wi-Fi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra connects through any Wi-Fi network or a hotspot shared from your phone. Most buyers run it off a Safaricom, Airtel Kenya or Telkom line on their phone, or a home fibre router. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6E, so newer routers give it fast, stable speeds. During KPLC power cuts, when the home router goes dark, a phone hotspot keeps you working. If you need data without a phone nearby, the 5G version takes its own SIM card.
How long does the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra battery last on one charge?
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra carries an 11600mAh battery, enough for a full working day of documents, browsing and video calls for most users. Heavy gaming or 4K editing at full brightness drains it faster, as on any tablet. It supports 45W wired charging through USB-C, but Samsung leaves the adapter out of the box. Mascom International stocks compatible Samsung chargers, so you can collect one with the tablet. Buyers who work from cafes in Westlands tell us they rarely hunt for a socket.
Is the S Pen included with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and is it good for drawing?
Yes, the S Pen comes in the box with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra at no extra cost. It needs no charging to write or draw, and it responds to pressure, so line weight changes as you press harder. Illustrators use it in apps such as Clip Studio Paint, Infinite Painter and Samsung Notes. Lawyers and doctors mark up PDFs and sign forms by hand. Galaxy AI tools inside Samsung Notes can also summarise long handwritten notes into short points.
Who should buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and who should skip it?
Buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra if you draw, edit video, review long documents or want one device for work and streaming. Skip it if you mainly watch YouTube, read and video-call family: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE at KSh 50,500 handles that for about a third of the price. Skip it too if you want something you can hold in one hand while standing, because the 14.6-inch body is wide. Students on a tight budget will find the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE the sensible fit.
Is 256GB on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra enough, or should you add a memory card?
For most buyers 256GB is plenty: it holds roughly 80,000 photos at about 3MB each, or around 12 hours of 4K video. That still leaves room for offline Netflix downloads, Office files and several large games. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra also has a dedicated microSD slot, so you can add a card later without deleting anything. Mascom International sells genuine SanDisk and Samsung memory cards, which are safer than unbranded cards sold on the street.
Technical Specifications
Display and Screen Quality
- 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel — a working area close to an A4 page turned sideways, so two apps fit side by side.
- 2960 x 1848 resolution at about 239 pixels per inch — text, drawings and building plans stay sharp at normal reading distance.
- 120Hz refresh rate — the screen redraws 120 times a second, so scrolling, pen strokes and games look smooth.
- 1,000 nits typical and 1,600 nits peak brightness — nits measure light output, and this level keeps content readable near a bright window.
- 16:10 widescreen shape — films fill most of the display, and documents show more lines per page than on a phone.
Processor and Performance
- MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip built on a 3nm process — a smaller process gives more speed for each unit of battery used.
- Eight-core CPU reaching 3.63GHz — the CPU is the main brain, and higher clock speeds open apps and finish exports faster.
- Immortalis-G925 graphics processor — draws game visuals and video effects, built for demanding titles and 4K editing work.
- Launched with Android 16 and One UI 8 — Samsung's own software layer, including Galaxy AI tools for notes, search and photo edits.
- Samsung DeX desktop mode — turns the display into a windowed desktop with a taskbar for laptop-style multitasking.
Memory and Storage
- 12GB RAM — RAM is short-term working memory, and 12GB keeps a dozen apps and browser tabs open without reloading.
- 256GB internal UFS storage — UFS is fast flash storage, so apps install quickly and large files open without delay.
- Space for around 32 hours of 1080p video or thousands of PDFs, textbooks and offline films before you clear anything.
- Dedicated microSD card slot — adds extra room for films and project files whenever the internal storage fills up.
- Model code SM-X930 — the Wi-Fi variant code to quote when you check warranty status or shop for a matching cover.
Camera and Video
- 13MP main rear camera with autofocus — sharp enough to scan documents, receipts and whiteboards straight into PDF files.
- 8MP ultrawide rear camera — fits a whole whiteboard or a small room into one shot from close range.
- 12MP ultrawide front camera with a 120-degree view — keeps two or three people in frame on Zoom or Google Meet calls.
- 4K video at 30fps on front and rear cameras — clear enough for site records, tutorials and short social media clips.
- LED flash and HDR — HDR blends several exposures so bright windows and dark corners both show detail in one photo.
Battery and Charging
- 11600mAh battery — mAh measures capacity, and this cell covers long sessions of reading, streaming and office apps between charges.
- 45W wired charging over USB-C — quick top-ups between meetings when paired with a compatible 45W Samsung adapter.
- Charger sold separately — the box includes a USB-C cable, and Mascom International stocks matching Samsung wall adapters.
- USB Type-C 3.2 port — also moves large video files to a laptop or external drive at high transfer speeds.
- Charges from USB-C power banks — useful on long trips or full days away from a wall socket.
Connectivity, Audio and Build
- Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6E tri-band support — faster, steadier links on modern routers and less congestion in busy offices.
- Bluetooth 5.4 — pairs wireless earbuds, keyboards and mice with stable, low-power connections that rarely drop.
- IP68 rating — rated against dust and immersion in 1.5 metres of fresh water for 30 minutes under lab conditions.
- Aluminium frame and back, 5.1mm thin and about 692g — slips easily into a laptop bag or document folder.
- Four stereo speakers and an under-display fingerprint reader — loud, clear sound for films and quick, secure unlocking without a PIN.
